Guest user29 Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 I am taking a break from Riverside for the day so don't expect an update until tomorrow.
Golgo13 Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Ok. You need to escape the main deathclaw part with Sam. After that you'll have a key to get into the queen's chambers. The alpha has either a 33% or 55% chance to give you an egg. So if it doesn't happen the first time you might need to try a couple times. On top of the one time the Alpha actually cares about it, himself, I gave it an even 20 attempts at the initiation of my toon... nothing. I should note that, previously, there didn't seem to be any randomness to it, at all. Every time the Alpha saw that my toon wasn't generating offspring, it remedied the fact with 100% effectiveness. It seems hard for me to believe that I was inconceivably lucky before, and equally unlucky, now.
Guest user29 Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 The alpha needs to approach you. If you go up to the alpha and talk to him that won't get you pregnant. He'll take an interest you every 2 or 3 hours when you're not pregnant.
Shazzam Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 minor bug fixes all over. Claie's path is partially implemented. It ends pretty suddenly. The most important thing is for those who were having issues with sex animations' date=' please try this update and see if it fixes it for you. You need to start from a breeder free save, and you need to delete the 2 dance animations found in Data\meshes\characters\_male\idleanims\Breeder I removed version 6 of the data pack and reverted back to the version 5 download. [/quote'] This works great for me too. Thanks! And now that I got to play through Riverside...awesome work. The setup and writing scream B-movie, which is a good thing I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with Claire.
Guest user29 Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Good glad it's working for you. That's also what I'm going for writing wise. If you don't get a little laugh every few minutes I've failed.
saladboy21 Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 In the Deathclaw place, I have noticed my Courier's belly is not changing when she gets pregnant. Both in and out of the summer rags her stomach stays flat. Note this only seems to occur with the story mandated deathclaw pregnancy...it is not a problem across the board.
Guest user29 Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 I haven't done anything affecting that so i can only assume it's something with the pregnancy mod.
mrmuffins Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 New Sexout ESM was released today - should we avoid it for now, or will it most likely work with Breeder?
prideslayer Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 There was no new release, just an updated beta. Try it and report in if you think it might have issues.
mrmuffins Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Just played through the Deathclaw promontory episode again in prep for the Riverside testing. Just a few things: -Is there still no birthing animation for deathclaw eggs? Or is that a pregnancy issue? (I'm using the latest) and Exactly how tough is the alpha you fight at the end supposed to be? Even with a guns skill of around 80 and 5mm AP ammo I feel like I can hardly dent him (character level of 27)
Guest user29 Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 I might have forgotten to fix him like I did the guards I'll look into it. There is no birthing animations right now.
windglaive Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 the birthing thign si pregnancy. All birthing animations where removed due to a conflict with sexout I think. The alpha is a bit tough at the end but not impossible.
mrmuffins Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I did end up killing the alpha. It just took me 300-odd 5mm minigun rounds, 132 AP minigun rounds, 100+ .308 Automatic Rifle rounds (armor piercing), 50-odd AP .50 rounds from the Anti-materiel rifle, and the ARCHIMEDES II orbital strike. So not impossible by any means, just... a lot.
mrmuffins Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I've started playing through Riverside. Only issue so far comes with buying the house outright. I get the job offer from the Sheriff, but after cleaning everything I get no prompts or reaction from Miranda, or any payment. I restarted and took the "clean-my-house-to-get-your-own" route and everything seems to be working fine.

Oh and if you guys use the new sexout you'll have 2 new deathclaw sex animations if you talk to your alpha in the queen's chambers. Claw girl and reverse claw girl. Their descriptions might be reversed. I dunno. Have fun.
doomcat9 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 i have a question. i know that for big horners you wanna set pregnancy to 3% and 10% for boatflies. but what is the recommended for death calws and other beasts?
Guest user29 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Actually you shouldn't need to worry about that anymore. You can set them to whatever you want I don't think the pregnancy will glitch out like it used to. Story wise I consider the player (and sam) special in that they carry to term faster than everyone else for an as of yet unrevealed reason. So if you want to go along with that just set it to like 2% for everything.

Guest user29 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I think I have mine set to 1% and it takes me like 9 hours for testing.
Golgo13 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I'm still exploring the nearby complex; there's one last door for which I still have not located the key. If the key to the queen's chamber is in there, that would explain why I haven't found it, yet. If I'm supposed to have access to it as soon as I get outside, or as soon as I talk to the arriving NCR troops, then, I'm stuck.
Guest user29 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 You get the key to the queen's chambers upon escaping with Sam, meeting the NCR squad down by the river, then defeating the ambush and Sam will talk to you and you'll teleport back to camp forlorn.
ouchtime Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Got some bugs in riverside for you to get grey hairs over Spoilers inside If you shoot the molerat in the basement before you do the deathclaw queen quest Lucy wont show. Feeding the deathclaw babies so they grow up: can't figure it out, lucy tell me to get meat from the store and drop in a chest but the store have no meat and there is no chest. Deathclaws seem to mature anyway. While recruiting Miranda she didn't go to my house properly. She just stood outside her own house, I force moved her to me with "moveto player" when I was outside my front door and then she went in. After you recruit Sara and Miranda then come around once a day to get knocked up but they just walk around in the basement. They don't have any sex with the deathclaws.
Guest user29 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Thanks, I'll hide the molerat until after you've started the quest properly. Feeding the deathclaws isn't in yet. They'll mature after 7 days. I haven't done their breeding yet in the basement. Right now they're just set to sandbox in your basement.

[/quote'] oh well thats good to know, i just started sara's recruitment part also: i downloaded the new coreNG, but ended up switching back to the old one and keeping the datapack, because when i activate the new core, all the sex animations stopped working in breeder content
Guest user29 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Oh gee I hope Pride broke my plugin again. If more people could try the new sexout and report there findings I'd appreciate it.
