umm having the same eyes and nose is kind of the definition of cookie cutter

In game they don't  they are different even ages weights ect..across the board.. if they were the same I would not use cant speak for the newest version. The version I use it has 273 npcs done I think ? but none the same. If they were the same trust me I would agree I am a npc snob love npc nobody dies in my game lol.

Not convinced of that seen some real nice overhauls and each npc is way different from the other with race being keep "lore" friendly

This author in my opinion has the best npc overhaul for females who look like adults they are most certainly not cookie cutter

Dames of Skyrim is one of those mods which has slipped under the radar.  Ever present in my mod list.

isn't there a tesedit plugin to distribute heads?

Is there? Randomly?

Before I started doing my own characters, I used about 4- 6 mods for npc's looks. They all do a good job imo and mixed them up. But, I just wanted to see what I could come up with. Turns out it is much more work than I thought! I can spend a couple of hours on one character alone because I am doing their looks and a "custom" armor or clothing for most.:classic_tongue:

they are distinctive faces, not too much Asian, so no round face shape.
What is of the utmost importance to me, these faces have cheekbones. :classic_wink:

chaconne, sbf or witcher have round face shape?

you can see the verticle around the eyes that move out or in of the head?

i can't, i can't tell either what bijin it is on the right without looking at the headparts name (hair were put behind, so by opening the nif, you can find what it is, if you can't tell either)

to see cheekbone i have to look at the head from an angle

still hard to see

elfs? it's not cheekbones, it's a hole in the jaw

there's the same problem with vampires

bethesda tri files suck

from there you can't see the hole in the head on the npc on the right

but you can see the bump on the nose you never saw (he forgot to smooth that after morph copy?)

like you never saw that bump on the lips

1524373687-qsqssq.jpg

some morphs look strange because the thing that was morph copy was too high or too low

because of that some lips or noses go up or down just by picking another one, not by moving slider moveup or movedown

and it's because bethesda tri files suck, there's all those mods to replace bethesda npcs (why not fix those tri files?)

one of my enderal npc on page 1 is a vampire

it's either a serena replacer, either a replacer of another vampire that isn't race vampire

bethesda npc it's a lot of useless problems

Remember that textures can make a big difference too. For example, there's a Bijin's texture option which makes most of them look more ordinary and dirty, and with varied textures between NPCs, you can increase the difference in appearance between them if if they use similar meshes.

That said, yes, most modders doing overhauls clearly have a "Type", so if you want variety you need to mix and match.

My favorite combo is, in descending MO order, Botox > JH Skyrim > SOGS > Men of Winter > GCE > Males of Skyrim > Bijin > individual NPC replacers. Basically every NPC is edited and since no overhaul covers them 100% it leads to some nice variety in NPC faces.

Also, there's already a thread on here discussing this.
