Mastercchris: I got the player/npc animations with cart running nicely. I was hoping for a rider so I could have your owner ride you into town or around the estate. Your work is excellent and much appreciated. Do you have the files you did on the rider? Once I know my arse from my elbow on the animation front I could try working on it. Badbat: I have gathered a suitably large amount of animations from Mastercchris, Chaoslord, LostRider and others. I cannot do animation myself. I believe it involves a combination of 3DSMax, Blender and Nifskope depending on what you are doing. I have only browsed over that area, so don't take that as truth. In fact I am downloading Blender now, so I can have a look. About time I did. Lol , Let me explain What how it works You should get it , its more scripting work . Remember a certain PrincessCarry Mod ? What this Guy Did Was He Scripted a Chair to Follow an Actor around , he then Made made a second actor to sit on the chair via spell , using an AI Package . He disabled the Chair / Set the second actor unconscious / And Positioned the 2nd Actor . This was All done By Scripting . If You want other animations , I can make them . I just used a chair idle . Note that rider animation is Labeled as a DynamicIdle so You have to make a New Branch in Sit idles Area ( Not SpecialIdle) You can Open them in Nifskope and change their values as well Rider.7z There are 2 Idles , One Was the very First I made , the Second is More Recent one The positioning for these two match the Positioning for the Princess Carry Mod , Because I didn't understand the math functions involved and how to change their values .I had to Shift the animation In Blender in the 4th dimension by a gut feeling Cheers and good luck Edited February 7, 2013 by mastercchris

Take a look at the latest BOSS Masterlist and you can just adjust them manually instead of running BOSS, since you don't have that many MODs. When you rebuilt your based patch, did you remember to disable all Lovers MODs? If you didn't that can override scripts (which is what adds the spells) as I recall and later lead to really unstable Save files. Other than I have to say I'm stumped. My MOD list is almost 3x the size of yours and I'm not having any issues. Loaded up the BOSS Master List and moved everything around. Also, made doubly sure to disable all Lovers-related mods and rebuilt my Bash. Still no change, I don't get assigned any spell, and constantly beaten and raped over again; the wrist and ankle bounds, gag, and collar appear, but that's the closest I get to anything. I'm running GOTY near everything, and If I remember correctly a lot of this stuff will only work with the very latest version of Oblivion.esm, 1.2.0416 I think it is. I'd also check all the support stuff too; latest OBSE, etc. LO looks pefectly fine now. I think if you can get a copy of GOTY you should be good to go.

Yes...if it was going to derail, it would have been during that several hour session. Especially with LandE doing its thing... Re: Infamy I figured that after an event like 'Rough Justice', your bounty might be set to zero but at a cost in infamy. Again...just musing. Re: Dog Dayz Too bad. I know zilch +1 about proper scripting...but for the future it might be nice to be able to do it again for 500gp or whatever carrot seems appropriate.

Had one installed that caused problems for me, even tho i can't remember it's name. But i'm sure it had something to do with spells. icon replacer maybe? Don't know. Sorry.

Now he should be moved to a hidden location instead." Actually I was doing fine with 0.57, even as he disappeared. It really seems to have to do with the hogtie thing. I don't know exactly WHAT part of the script does, it, but I have enough time to see my character hogtied, and then it crashes

It's not the GOTY edition that matters as I recall, it's the version of oblivion.esm. So if your discs have the 1.2.0416 version it's just one more thing to check off as not a cause. But yeah, I agree some OBSE plugins cause issues. I think they already tried removing AlternateStart, for another NG. I'm grasping at straws at this point.

A complete uninstall needs some manual steps, like reg-entries and the game ini's. Reg: HKLM\Software\[sysWoW64\]Bethesda Softworks And just to make sure: install the game, the DLC's, and then the latest patch. Can't remember if the latest patch was touching an DLC, but better safen than sorry. in case of the GotY edition, patching shouldn't be needed (haven't tryed my GotY yet). Then install just OBSE, a body replacer, LPK and PSE. Textures, 4GB patches and other mod's just fill the list of possible errors again.

The problem was when the quest IchSQ01ReluctantHousemaid advanced to stage 20, and the message "You are now Pellam's maid, you have duties to perform" etc. appeared, my frame rate dropped a lot and the player character was stuck in one spot. I deleted lines 431-444 from the IchReluctantHousemaid script, and it works now. I think those line are supposed to reset the PC from the walk with hands bound behind animation to the normal walk animation, but at that point the PC should have already been in the normal walk mode. I've got less than a quarter of a clue what I did here, but it fixed things on my end, at least. (This is my second attempt posting this, so if this ends up being a double post, I apologize)
luinil Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 regarding update 0.57 - I loved the preverted burglar and player slave encounters rough justice seem to run alot smoother now with justicar making an appearance usually with a few hours game time rather than sometimes many days or even a week to find you.I have not tried the other adventures with 0.57 to see if improvements in preformance but rough justice is certainly runs alot more smoothly .Excellent work.Oh and I liked how justicar can sometimes decided to sell you to a slaver instead of just public punishment ... nice touch.THe gallows hanging punishment still doesnt actually kill you - my hps did not drop at all after 5 minutes.Excellent dialog though with justicar during the gallows punishment.

Although it annoys me to no end, I might have to do a fresh install, see if it fixes it Still, thanks for trying to fix it.

I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one with that problem and I had my setup wrong somehow. I'll also see if that works on my save but I'd still be looking forward to the next update and hopefully an official fix of this if this is really a bug.
varenne Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Sibling Rivalry - Still on ver. 57, didn't want to take a chance fubaring it all by upgrading just yet, having gotten this far. Just one note to report back on. After being teleported to the dundeon/cellar'prison thingy, I get some major lag. Drop down to 5FPS while in there. Also a personal request/question. Where do you have the audio/voice files connected too that play in the background? I'd like to either swap 'em out or disable them to test where the lag hit is coming from. When teleporting form the Rozey Inn, at the moment I hit sleep it starts a change scene/room poup and stutters till I CTRL-ALT-DEL, but once I return after a mement it finsihes the teleport. Weird. Again major lag hit there. Was a nice fun break from work, keep up the great work. Back to MD from FL Sunday at 6AM, so no Oblivion for a while again, or till next weekend.

But for me the frame drop is limited to npc's in front of the camera (even behind objects, covering them). So for the torture chamber, i simply make the camera face to the slave cell opposide the exit door or top-down. i hope he splits the dungeon into 3 cells. torture chamber, main room, and the last room (trying not to spoil).Most important for me, is having the last room in it's own cell, as the chatter from the main room overlaps the dialogue that's going on in this room. Edit:Maybe someone can confirm my thought about my performance problem with npc's, but i got the feeling it's due to engine limitations and ai/scripts running on npc's.My CPU and graphic card are hardly reaching 50%. if my thought is true, maybe the GotY edition of the game will behave different (still didn't switch over to it yet).
