Nepro: Just delete out that bit of code (|| means Or). So if you want to remove the unconscious check and see if that helps your line would read:

i tried editing the script for enslave chance the way you said to but it wont let me save the changes because i get the error "line 72 script command "array_var" not found."

 

so if i cant edit the script in CS how would i go about it?

@nepro, ok, i booted it up with obse, same problem just new line, this time i cant save because "line 783 script command "E" not found"  so still cant edit the enslave chance

  That quest is not finished/active yet. But since you have spotted the brothel, if you are running any other mods that affect that area, do you see any interference with its placement?

  You may find CSExtender as apposed to just the CS more helpful.

Great Mod, it really is amazing! I ran into a small problem though. For 'Dog Days', after speaking with Ganredhel She doesn't go to the cellar. I had this working once, but I had to redo all my mods (broke my oblivion by doing something wrong x3). Is it a load order problem? Or something else?

I did amend Ganredhel's AI package so she actually goes about her daily life now. I load PSE at the bottom of my list (as I am amending it constantly) so not sure if that would help. You have to follow her to the cellar rather than rushing off ahead or she does not turn up. The only time she will not move should be when the Gray Fox is in her house.

 

Sullen: That quest is a dead end and has not even been tested yet so the activation is currently shut off. One of the many things I have to sort out this week.  ;)

I am very interested for any clashes from other mods as that area just looks too good for development for someone else not to have used it.

 

Bashis: OBSE definitely needed. Script command E sounds wrong though. I need to work on the menu system at some point (on the large list) to make it more like the main Lovers settings one.

Ichabod, I want to thank you for the great plugin. Special thanks for your hard work and responsiveness.

I got your permission to translate the plugin into Russian and try to keep up with yours updates. So fast! :)
However, your mod is very popular among the Russian-speaking players!
But I have some questions:
IchPlayerSlaveDUPLICATE000 script has a double name - scn IchGagSpellAdder and scn IchPlayerSlave.
The script IchSlaveTraderScript twice declared PotentialRef.
My CS (Construction Set Extender 6.0.0.925, OBSE 21) constantly complains.
This can be corrected somehow?
 
About RapistBurglar have an interesting idea. Heroine can ask for help on their own. Plugin SHOUT - Syclonixs Help Others Under Threat created this idea.
The call for help individual keys. The heroine can not scream because of the gag in his mouth, but can bleat, yelp, whine, cry ... Mmmm!.. Mmm! Mmpf..
This idea can be used in other quests.
This is an interesting idea? You can attach the appropriate MP3.
This is so sexy ...
 
And one more question, a philosophical ...
Your plug-in is becoming more and more and more. Maybe there is a reason to think about a modular system?
I mean one base ESM. More freedom and more plugins.
I do not understand the script. For this reason, I do not know how difficult it is. But I thought that this line of development is not so bad ...

so i just finished being countess alessio slave for two days

but all my items are gone!? after finishing, theres a small sack next to her throne but its empty does that mean my items are in a bandit zone?

 

then mod is so fun, it has stopped me using fast travel aswell

Just for the record, I solved my problems by simply picking up a copy of the GOTY edition.  For whatever reason, it just didn't want to work with my original, single disc versions.  Also, do not (obviously) accidentally load two versions of this mod... I wasn't paying attention and loaded both version 0.57 and 0.58, and whenever I got to the slave area, there would be multiple versions of everyone all trying to kill each other, which basically ended up erupting into a huge gang rape orgy...

I am trying to fix this at the moment with Mem's help. I am still uncertain why this is happening to others.

I had this problem a long time ago but it no longer appears (and I did not do anything I can think of to stop it which is confusing)

 

Caiena: Good luck with the continuing translations. Glad everyone is enjoying it :D

The duplicate script looks like a balls up I made making scripts. Same for the double ref variable. Cheers for pointing that out.

I am currently changing the coding bit by bit. Changing duplicate coding into functions.

Not sure if or when I will get round to making it a fully modular system.

The mumbling for help while struggling sounds fun. I can only think of getting assistance (or a further load of trouble) from others in the zone. This would get them to come to you and therefore automatically take over as master. After that your fate depends on your rescuer's responsibility level.

 

Badbat: Could be possible to amend the code to allow the use option. I will look at that with the summon help idea.

Just throwing this out there I have not coded for oblivion.

I look at the code snipped below(lets call it Snippet) and if it was written in C++ I would be little afraid the compiler would thrown an error or possibly there may be a logic error.

 

if (TargetFatigue <= 0 || player.getknockedstate != 0 ||player.getrestrained != 0 || player.getav paralysis != 0) && EnslaveChance <= EnslaveChoice

 

Normally in C++ structure for if statements is

 

if ( condition)

{

    doSomething();

}

 where condition is some statement that can be evaluated to True or False or 1 or 0

 

If the condition is evaluated True then the func doSomething() would be executed or whatever code snipped you put between the braces.However, the condition in Snipped is not all contained within the () so I would worry that the compiler may just ignore && EnslaveChance<= EnslaveChoise when evaluating whether condition is TRUE or not. Or just do something unexpected.

 

I would feel much safer in C++ writting it like this:

 

if ((TargetFatigue <= 0 || player.getknockedstate != 0 ||player.getrestrained != 0 || player.getav paralysis != 0) && EnslaveChance <= EnslaveChoice)

{     doSomething();   }

 

Also with a statement like this :

 

if(A && ( B|| C|| D|| E))

{

     doSomething();

}

if A evaluated to False then the if  condition would always be false regardless of whether B, C, D, E are true or not. C++ would not evaluate whether B,C,D,E are true or not it would just simply skip past the if statement If A evaluated to False.

 

But  if you wrote it like this

if(( B|| C|| D|| E) && A ))

{ doSomething();)

 

then C++ would evaluate if B,C,D,E and A are true on not before deciding if the if condition was true or not.

 

In other words the if conditon  will potentially be evaluated faster  like this (A && ( B|| C|| D|| E))  rather than like this if (( B|| C|| D|| E) && A )) .

 

So in other words the  if  condition

if (EnslaveChance <= EnslaveChoice  && (TargetFatigue <= 0 || player.getknockedstate != 0

||player.getrestrained != 0 || player.getav paralysis != 0))

)

could run faster and never slower than 

 

if ((TargetFatigue <= 0 || player.getknockedstate != 0 ||player.getrestrained != 0 || player.getav paralysis != 0) && EnslaveChance <= EnslaveChoice)

 

But I dont know when enslaveChance EnslaveChoise are used checked so it may make a diffence to behaviour BUT if its not important behaviorly whether EnslaveChance <= EnslaveChoise is evaluated  before player.getrestrained etc then you could use the faster if condition .

 

However in C++ the compiler may just go well go ahead and optimize your code anyway .

There is a relationship with C++ and Oblivionscript, but only just enough to trip up folks just starting to dig into it.

I come from a background of LPC (Lars Pensjö C), and I am still struggling with shifting gears when switching between the two.

I really like the ideas in this mode. :) I am having issues with the quest updates though. When the quest update popup appears it will not let me click on either option (continue or make this my active quest). I have turned off all other mods that would affect this and, am still having this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I feel myself going mildly insane trying to trouble shoot it myself. Thanks in advance.

 

Hi everyone, I'm having a really annoying problem. Whenever I get enslaved, I can't click on any dialog option or menu. So when when the slaver takes me to the slave camp and the other slaver asks me a question, I can't respond. I'm sure I'm just doing something really dumb, but either way any help would be greatly appreciated. On a completely side note, this is an incredible community, glad to be a part of it.

 

Is their a solution to this problem I couldn't find one?

Reporting in at least some level of problems with the new container trap-enslavement feature. It triggered well enough, but as far as I could see there was at least two possible issues (which may or may not be tied):

 

1) The escape script was not running. Not entirely sure if it is meant to in this situation.

 

2) After getting enslaved by the trap the ownership of the PC was assigned to the closest NPC, who happened to be the now-also-enslaved companion. This will almost always be the case if the PC is travelling with a companion. I feel like there should probably be a clause in the script preventing (enslaved or all) companions from becoming owners of PC. Not only does it not make a lot of sense, but it also creates the so called leash problem: the companion leash is shorter than the one used in PSE which enables the PC to freely walk around.

 

 

EDIT: Tested it out a bit more. Everything seems to work well enough when no companions are around. Second try with a companion had no escape problems, but the problem mentioned in 2) still applies though.

At least in Lovers Bitch you get the "can't click anything" problem if you have bound the attack key to anything but mouse left click. Might be a different issue here though.

hfhkqidhs: There is a code to stop enslaved companions becoming your master or to release you up for another master to claim you. Once you and your companion are enslaved (and it says you are claimed by a new master), are you leashed to your companion?

Not sure why the escape code would stop running though.
