More Nasty Critters Special/Anniversary Edition

I'm having an issue with dogs no longer being animated during SL scenes.

I'm on a new character, I have A Dog's Life and the MNC patch, as I did on my previous character and which worked then without problems. The only mod I added that would possibly affect dogs is Fluffyworks, but even when disabling that, the dog isn't animated.

 

I use SLP+ as I did before. The animation starts correctly, my character is animated, and the dog is moved on top, but just stays there with no animation.


The dog's cock shows, and in the creature framework, MNC is the option for regular dogs and A Dogs Life for ADL dogs (those are the only options outside of disabling)

In the console, the last thing that affected the dog is SL Fame Comments (for the dogs added by that mod), which was the same as on my previous character.

I'm stumped as to why this is happening. Can anyone think of a reason for this?

Are you guys using Pandora to generate your animations and if so have you updated recently?.  I think the current version has a bug where wolf/dog anims don't work.

Oh interesting.

Did you update to the latest SLSB Conversation pack? I'm thinking maybe the problem lies somewhere in there.

Yeah I did recently update to the latest version of Pandora. Thank for the heads up.

I have a strange issue, I can get all female humanoid on male creature animations to work fine, but not any male humanoid on female creatures. The animation will try to play as they come together and strip and then they just stand right next to each other not doing anything until the timer runs out, even has the correct dialog saying what is happening.  I have fnis and the creature pack for that and ran the update behavior, disabled all and then registered all animations in the SLAL and have the sex lab match gender option disabled (nothing would happen at all if that was selected).

 

 

Fixed: had to manually install all animations using winrar not vortex.

I'm trying to understand some changes to MNC/ABC/aSOS that's centered around adjusting schlong angles. I had a stable game built around Lexy's guide but  DynDOLOD blew up so I figured it was time to nuke from orbit and rebuild so this time I used STEP for simplicity and installed the latest MNC.

 

In the Lexy build I was using 15.x and, I believe, Creature Framework 1.0.1 where I often had a choice between MNC, ASOS and ABC+ASOS. I'd choose ASOS where ABC+ASOS was not available, falling back to MNC when neither was (Centurions for example). In this version I don't have an ABC+ASOS option. A bit of testing makes me think that choosing MNC in this version gives me ABC if installed, which would be fine except that MNC draugr dicks don't line up and don't appear to respond to schlong up/down during sex (only one I've tested so far). I installed ASOS which gave back that control, but I've seen several comments about ASOS conflicting and one where you said to uninstall ASOS in response to a particular problem that I can't remember and now can't find. I've verified that the only files overwriting MNC are from ABC (hiding files as necessary) and all MNC esp edits are forwarded into patches as needed (Bijin Serana's Biped Model for example). 

 

Am I missing something, or should I just go with MNC/ASOS/ABC and choose ASOS for the dicks not covered by ABC? I've set them often enough over the years that I can almost do it just from memory.

Horses in my game are not getting their cock models distributed to them. When I trigger an animation with match maker the dick suddenly appears, and after the animation it sticks around and everything works right with the arousal system, but when I fast travel away and back it is gone again. For awhile I thought it had something to do with the mods I had or load order or something, but after disabling everything this issue still persists. I feel like I must just be missing some simple piece of set up, but I've read through MNC's page a bunch, went through the Creature Framework troubleshooting steps, and can't find anyone having similar issue when trying to search for it.

 

I am on version 1170, and here is my load order which barely has more than MNC's required mods, I've also disabled all SKSE plugins that aren't required.

Edit: To add to this, I have also discovered that the schlongs I select in creature framework are not respected until after sex. Creature will always spawn with the MNC ones even if I have Animal SOS + ABC selected. Then after an animation they will have the correct one. This seems like it is probably related to my issues with horses.

Likely you have wrong version of MNC.  Is the archive source named "MoreNastyCrittersSE&AE_v16"? Is there something overwriting it animations files in the mod manager?

Also do not forget to install "FNIS Creature Pack" from FNIS add-ons https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3038

Nothing is overriding the animations. Everything is installed correctly. I am on the Gog SE version.. Which means I use the Jcontainers GOG version,  loaded game to see if I would receive any in-game warnings (like the wrong version of this or that is installed).  No warnings and Actors have no animations moving.  Sexlab/ SLAL worked great prier to installing with NO error Warnings. "Is the archive source named "MoreNastyCrittersSE&AE_v16" (Yes) however the creature summoner is MNCSEv15_6.7. and  Modcompatibilitykits 15_6.7.... Any suggestions are welcomed.

What GOG or JContainers has to do with FNIS animation processing of Behavior files? 

Nothing is the answer.

 

The request for help is about FNIS warning about wrong format files being processed by FNIS-SE\AE.  Not the game runtime, that will be likely every NPC is T posed, because FNIS got feed the wrong files.

For FNIS animations targeting creatures, the only requirement is that the FNIS Creature Add-on is installed and properly detected. The installed animations—such as MNC, HCOS, Billy SLAL, Baka SLAL, and others—are all designed for the Havok64 animation system used in Skyrim SE/AE. However, if even a single animation is formatted for the Havok-32bit system used by Skyrim LE, it will fail to process. The same applies to humanoid animations."  The same goes for Pandora, if you ever use that.

 

If you are using Mod Organizer that uses a Virtual File system, maybe the conflicting file is in the fallback folder (forgot the name) or in the SkyrimSE\AE installation.  I use Vortex, so I do not know much about MO2.  In Vortex, you get a warning as a red lightning icon indicating conflict (in the dependency column) and a notification in the bell icon at the top. The red lightning is a button to open the conflict resolution window and will indicate what mods and files are in conflict with a pull-down decision selection.

After uninstalling FNIS and switching to Pandora and running it, character\behaviors loaded well. Everything is now working. I as well use Vortex. I dislike mo2, I find Mo2 very advanced for me. lol

Because they don't understand that Pandora is a work in progress and that's where they should be posting their issues. It's "better" (something entirely subjective, because they all "work" eventually) than Nemesis because it actually works (rather than crashing fifteen times before it finishes a run) and supports creature animations, and better than FNIS because it supports Nemesis animations.

The latest version on Nexus (2.7.0) has issues with dog animations. The latest on Github (3.0.0) apparently has issues with Draugr (again) and males (hit or miss, though). It's two steps forward, one step back at the moment, while it's still in development. A lot of people are saying 2.4.0 is stable with the most animations, if people want to try fixing things, rather than ranting about problems.

Just gotta roll back one version out of alpha (2.4.0 as stated by Scautura).  I dunno, I prefer waiting 1.2 seconds for all my animation files from everything to update with one click,🤷‍♂️ rather than several minutes for FNIS, then deactivate it, then run nemesis...  🤷‍♂️

don't know what the hell you people are doing to your computers but it only takes 15 secs to run GenerateFNISforUsers.exe.

 

and y'all acting like you are alt+tabbing out mid game to regenerate behavior files before every animation.
