Try this.

Didn't work.  Still tinkering.

This is more of a dirty workaround than a fix.  The NPC template lacked a default outfit, so I added one, but the problem will resurface if the NPC is stripped.

It appears there is a Global called SOS_BlackList that NPC's are assigned to programmatically, but the Global isn't defined in any of the plugins...seems to only exist in scripting.  Not in my skillset.

SOS_Hearthfire_Planter_fix.esp 891 B · 15 downloads

Update:  The message "You can't use that here" comes from Complete Alchemy & Cooking Overhaul.esp, which overrides the Hearthfire MESG record "PlanterNotPlantableMESSAGE" - XX0008244, which would normally say "You can't plant that here".  I'm not sure if the problem happens without CACO installed.  I have too many things that use it to remove it to test this out.  Hopefully you've got enough info (or someone else does) to test further and maybe develop a fix.

Don't know if this is relevant anymore, but since I've been having the same issue myself, I decided to start bashing my head against the CK until it finally let me compile something, and cranked out a really rudimentary script fix for this. I modified the Schlongify function to include a check to see if SOS is about to jam a dick into a planter; if it is, it'll add that actor to the blacklist instead. This checks ActorRef against the ActorBase for planters (thanks to Meckatinker for making my job easier by including that in their initial post), so in theory, it should work for all instances of planters.

Just extract the fix to your Data folder (or wherever your mod manager keeps SOS's scripts) and overwrite when prompted. I don't really know enough about Papyrus optimization to estimate how much of a performance hit this might add, but once you've encountered a planter for the first time, the blacklisting should prevent SOS from attempting to schlongify it any more.

With the latest version of SKSE64 and SOS, I get an error about a missing DLL as others have mentioned. Is the only work-around to downgrade SKE64? I've double-checked to make sure the DLL is present.

SOS SE 1.1.4 works with the latest SKSE64 (2.0.19).  If you're getting DLL errors, you've installed the wrong combination of SKSE64 and/or SOS-SE.  Also make sure your game is of the latest version as well (1.5.97).

SOS SE 1.1.4:

SchlongsOfSkyrim.dll

CRC32: AA596578

SKSE64 2.0.19/1.5.97

skse64_1_5_97.dll

CRC32: B4B9DF7A

Skyrim SE / 1.5.97

SkyrimSE.exe
CRC32: 69F5E4B6

Maybe it's because the version of SKSE64 has been upgraded from v2.0.17, but now I get the unsupported SKSE version message.
I would like you to make a DLL for Current SE build 2.0.19.

SOS works just fine with SKSE 2.0.19, and with almost 800K downloads you'd see a lot more posts about a potential issue. Double check you did not download the VR or the LE versions.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure it's the SE version since it's "Schlongs_of_Skyrim_SE - v1.1.4", but if that's the case, there are other causes.
I'll try to learn more.

Hello, this is kinda a newb question I suppose, I have always played as a female character but on my new playthrough I decided to be male.  How do I go about making my dragonborn have a schlong worthy of the dragonborn and not the tiny prepubescent schlong he comes with?

Hello, I was using Better Males for a while. I upgraded to SoS SE, and this body has some big problematic penis misalignment with OSA/OSex. I know I can adjust the angle with PgUp and PgDown keys, but it doesn't align where it should. Is it simply incompatible with those animations?

Is the latest dll source available anywhere? I've tracked back till

which seems the last post where code was being discussed, but I'd like to be sure it's the current one.

Now, all we need is Enderal SE support. :)

There is a working archive for SOS in the second link in my signature.

Hi folks,

I went straight to 2.0.19 but have found that the dll cant be found through vortex with SoS.

Should I move all my mods to another folder, remove the SKSE and then find an old 2.0.17 to replace it to fix the issue?

SoS old, dll not found. Found -1, expected 300004

I assume once this is done, I can go through the mods again either by pasting them in appropriate places or simply re downloading through vortex, starting with the basic stuff first?

Apologies if I've missed anything, I've never modded a damn thing in my life and I've probably made a mistake in which download order I should use through Vortex. I've not found a way to check Order until a conflict springs up and then I put new mods to load after their requirements and hope for the best! lol

Is there a Github or source available for the SOS dll itself?

Not for the current one: there's the oldrim source (in LE installer) and the first few SE ports in this thread early pages, along some discussion about the changes.

Most of it is the same, what is a bit different is the save/load data from skse cosave, which incidentally is what's prone to break due to lack of ESL support.

Hi, I just updated skse to 2.0.19 and now I get this error from your mod "The failed plug-ins are:• SchlongsOfSkyrim version 300004 (SchlongsOfSkyrim.dll, Schlongs of Skyrim SE) loaded correctly (handle 8)." Can you tell me how to fix this please?

Played all day (don't judge me) loaded up a save after taking my dog out, Crash. Netscript blamed SOS-DLL. Disabled in M02 and saved the game without it. Enabled it again and bam no DLL error game workls.

Easy way to set all armors to revealing?

https://www.loverslab.com/topic/104928-bad-dogs-skimpy-clothes-se/?do=findComment&comment=3372659

All the revealing armors from LE, including BadDogs stuff converted to SE and set to SOS_Revealing.

Along with a long explanation of why the keyword gets removed and how to prevent that.

Basically all those plugins have to load AFTER the merged/bashed/smashed patches. EVERY patch will leave a blank where SOS_Revealing should be.

All because I got tired of having to line up an NPC in the crosshairs and open the MCM, scroll to Schlongs of Skyrim, click on second entry on left, and select the checkbox for revealing.

Hi,I have the a question.
I move the cursor over the npc,it show "E" then I use "esc" in to mcm.(but when I use "esc",the "E" will loss.
So when I into SOS mcm,I can't change any setting.

I can't get all of the sliders for SOS to show up in the Racemenu. Only the SOS Erection slider shows up under Genitals. I heard that this can be caused by XP32MSSE being overwritten by SOS, but I tried reinstalling XP32MSSE over SOS to no avail. I didn't install the skeletons for SOS, and made sure to select the SOS patch when I installed XP32MSSE. I also tried loading the XPMSE.esp plugin both before and after all the SOS plugins. Is there something I'm missing?

Don't know if someone else answered this already but I was having the same problem. Make sure XP32MSSE is below SOS in the load order. This will ensure all the sliders show up, otherwise the SOSRacemenu plugin only shows the "Erection" slider.

Or just don't activate the SOSRacemenu plugin, as it's sole purpose is to prevent Racemenu sliders from effecting the schlongs.  You're just wasting a plugin slot for nothing.
