So next time before shouting that something doesn't work, check that YOU didn't make a mistake. And if you didn't downgrade at all, then you don't need bees. Skse is version dependant, means that when the game update you have to update skse, but if you chose to downgrade the game you have to downgrade skse too. Also address library 8 and 9 aren't compatible with skyrim 1.5.97. yes i use skse 2.2.5 because i use newest skyrim 1.6.1xx before the skyrim update to 1.6.1xx my game works with my 700 mods i updated all mods so they could work with the new skyrim skse ect. and which dont had an update i deinstall like improvedcameraSE but after all i now get ctds

BEES was created to bring to skyrim 1.5.97 / 1.6.353 / 1.6.640 and GOG new features from 1.6.1130, which means not only is it useless for 1.6.1130 (why bring it features it already have?) but it may not even be compatible (why making it compatible with a version of skyrim that doesn't need it?), and from the mod's page "Do not install this mod if you're using game version 1.6.1130 or later. It's redundant." and on the download link: "Built with CommonLibSSE-NG with support from 1.5.97 through 1.6.659" (next time read the descriptions of the mods you install before saying something doesn't work). Besides improved camera se HAS BEEN updated, on nexus. " Version 1.1.0b1 Added bOverrideVanillaArmsOnMovement by Kruziikrel13 Added bEnableThirdPersonTorchBlock as requested. Fixed left arm issue with magic using third person arm when equipped with a weapon in the right. Removed fControllerBufferDepth3rd this was the main culprit for animations getting stuck workbench, etc. Handled internally to adhere to 0.14 value. Update imgui to 1.89.9 and fixed a crash issue which is present in previous builds. Removed bQuickLightLighting due to not working as intended and causing more problems than it is worth. Added official support for latest SkyrimSE v1.6.1130. Fixed Paragliding, now is enforced into third person with fake first person support. Fixed Camera acting oddly, visible body when looking down. Removed fSwitchPOVDetectDistance. Fixed Third Person Arms toggle so all third person options underneath are disabled. Updated OpenSans font. Added FontAwesome v6 font. Prettifies the menu. Various issues with vendor modules not playing nicely with latest Visual Studio 2022. CommonLibSSE-NG is pretty much up to date, Improved Camera v1.0.5 and below were using from Nov 2022 (I think it was). Additional libraries are now submodules. Kruziikrel13 has been also working on github related things which will transfer over to the public repo in due course. CMake, premake and vcpkg will be sorted out for the project(s). Currently VS2022 only." Edited January 1, 2024 by Shonen17000

If you are trying to run 1.6.1130 then that mod has to go as it has not been updated.

Also considering the github is gone, and the comments section locked, we can pretty much assume quickloot re is abandoned. And you won't have more chance with quick loot EE, doesn't work either. Seeker999 Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 @ARO57, if you still need help, please post it in the appropriate forum. Technical Support - Skyrim: Special Edition. This isn't a help topic, as you've been told already. Continuing to ask for help in this instead of taking the 2 minutes to post your request where it belongs is just rude, as well as discourteous to those who want to view the thread for its stated purpose. 3

thumbtacksword Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 Think SOS AE DLL may need an update or I may be wrong. I was using IC yesterday too. Game was running fine all day while I had IC installed, as soon as I installed SOS got DLL warnings. Started new game, ran fine. Saved in Helgen, booted it back up later and boom crashes instantly. Gonna be patient and wait for updates unless I may be wrong.

It is based on the actual source of the original dll (all other replacement dlls were reversed engineered and don't have the bug fixes), with bug fixes (including a potential ctd) so even on skyrim 1.5.97 the dll should be replaced. And yes there is a dll for 1.6.1130. Edited January 2, 2024 by Shonen17000

tasairis Posted January 2, 2024 Author Posted January 2, 2024 - Improved Camera SE: downgraded due to being buggy - Proteus: apparently working - Quick Loot RE: has a patch mod - UIExtensions: widescreen problems only on super ultra mega widescreen, at which point you gotta figure something will look wrong I've also tweaked the list to better show mods that can work if you install a patch.
Shonen17000 Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 (edited) About the quick loot re patch, it is missing some features from the original mod atm. "It is missing features that have been added since then, like icon support, Hunterborn support, Completionist support, Curator's Companion support, the position/scale config options, and the QuickLootReload command." (it is based on the sources from an older version). Edited January 2, 2024 by Shonen17000 1

So fretting over broken mods/ quick updates is kinda pointless. Just roll back to the 1.6.640 version for the time being, prevent Steam from updating the game again (turn it to offline) and continue playing as if nothing happened How to roll-back"to 1.6.640: Open a command window by pressing Win + R and then enter the command: steam://open/console, and then press Enter. This will open the console tab on Steam. At the bottom will be the input line for you to enter the following codes, just copy and paste one line at a time and press enter: download_depot 489830 489831 3660787314279169352 download_depot 489830 489832 2756691988703496654 download_depot 489830 489833 5291801952219815735 This will download the 1.6.640 files. Wait until all 3 files have downloaded. You will get a prompt when it is done. Go to the folder C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\content (or where you have installed Skyrim). Here you will find the 3 folders with the 1.6.640 files. Open the folders and paste the files inside (so NOT the whole folder!) into C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition (or where your Skyrim is), overwriting when prompted. Done. If you have already installed mods that were updated to the new version (i.e. SKSE and SexLab), go back to the version for 1.6.640 or Skyrim won't start. Address Library doesn't need to be "downgraded" to 1.6.640, since it will pick the correct version for whichever game version you use. OMG! thank you so much, I LOVE YOU!
Shonen17000 Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 (edited) Be aware that this manipulation will download only the english version of the game, all other languages require a fourth depot different for each language, and every single person explaining this method forget about the fourth depot. Shonen17000 Posted January 6, 2024 Posted January 6, 2024 (edited) Oh the irony, the depot method isn't even needed, the bestofboth downgrade patcher works perfectly if you use Backported Extended Esl Support (BEES) (link in the op) The ctds don't come from the patcher itself but from the lack of support of the old engines for the new file header used in some of the masters, the engine can't load some of the masters, so it crashes, as simple as that. Use BEES with the versions of skse and address library corresponding to the version you downgraded to, and it will work. Besides BEES is usefull even on genuine non downgraded 1.5.97 / 1.6.640 / GOG because it brings them the support of the new file header which is used by the new version of the creation kit, the extended esl support (up to 4096 esl/espfe) and of the new papyrus features. PS BEES is redundant and not compatible with 1.6.1130. PPS @VeraDra I'll stop downgrading when all the skse mods i use will be ported, not yet achieved. And another update is already planned. 4nk8r Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 (edited) If you're using Vortex, you can make your life easier if you just zip up your downloaded depots and install them like mods. Any depot that installs stuff above Data, install disabled, flag it as an engine injector, then enable and deploy, allow these 3 "mods" to overwrite everything that conflicts. You'll have a 100% update proof install (while also allowing Vortex to revert any external changes Steam might do afterwards). Edit: Obviously anything that is going to replace a core DLL for use as a preloader should allow THAT mod to win any conflict battles. Edited January 7, 2024 by 4nk8r
