- Main list: added (back) a number of SKSE/non-LL "notable" mods, opinionated, before the regular LL list
- Also added (back) the table of SLAL packs, but I don't like how it looks so expect it to change
- "Depends on" lists now provide a link to the mod

 

And now it's gone up to 237KB :(

- Display Enemy Level: works
- Experience: works, or at least I think so given that nobody's complaining
- iEquip: seems like it does not work in 1.6.629 or later
- Mfg Fix: works
- Payload Interpreter: sounds like it should work
- Skyrim Outfit System Revived: works

 

Unfortunately I'm downgrading UIExtensions to ??? as chatter suggests it has some problems with 1130. This will cascade to other mods that depend on it, and as widespread as UIExtensions is, there's probably a few in my list that do depend on it except I don't know they do/didn't write it down.

the last update broke my game and i decided to start from scratch... but before i go into installing all the basic stuff i want to make sure that todd cant do this again to me... i need to stop steam from updating the game... how do i do that ? couldnt find a setting on it yet

On Steam, Right Click to Skyrim -> Properties... -> Updates Tab -> In Automatic Updates change it to "Only update this game when I launch it"

Now as long as you don't launch it through Steam it shouldn't update itself.

 

 

Also, does anyone have a copy of SexLab Framework 1.65. In the mod post only the last (1.66) version is available (unless I'm blind... which could be...). I downgraded to 1.6.640 so I need the old version.

the key may be to not rush. 

 

get USSEP and ASLAL - that way you're not fighting the cart scene, and can start in a quiet cell, which is also a lot easier on the system for all the MCM loads.

 

the comments elsewhere are something in UI Extensions may be struggling with AE 1130. I'm in a similar situation, I was sorting out a missing texture this morning, and then as I loaded more script heavy mods I got too ambitious and am now having to go back and test which one is causing a problem.

expect 1130 to be replaced in the newyear, a-la .629 v .640 - *probably* compatible, but always possible it isn't

Get any version from the source

 

Click the tag with the version number you wants, and find sexlab framework in the form of "the source code.zip".

I appreciate the reply. I know I need to be more patient, I've just not been able to play since the update (Steam auto-updating on me and it's too late to try to downgrade), so I'm just anxious to start. I already have USSEP but I also have some lovers lab mods that get affected by ASLAL (Toys, DD, CC shop, and some others). So I'd have to reinstall those and hope they're not broken. Any other advice while I try that out? I miss my favorite game.

Trainwreck is useful for spotting if there is a version of a .dll that is out of sync, provided there is a number. The one that caught me was I'd not updated SexLab itself, and the SexLabUtil.dll doesn't report a version in Trainwreck.

I've removed some of the more quality of life mods - display enemy level is something I might add back in later.

For bodies, HIMBO+TNG and SAM Lite. I have a preference for SAM due to the quality of clothing in general, particularly SavrenX.

OpenAnimationReplacer rather than DynamicAnimationReplacer.

 

What I'm now testing is whether some mods which don't have AddressLibrary etc dependencies are SKSE version agnostic, on the theory that if they've done through the last 2 years, they may be stable while we're on Skryrim 1.6.????. So next up will be :

Sexy Adventures and BM Licenses, which might avoid the need for SimplyKnock.

Pamatronics collection for prison and furniture (which has left me wishing for a Delzaron/Pamatronics collab)

NakedDungeons (for risk on me) and Yamete Kudasai (for hunter mode)

Sexy Adventures doesn't have Simply Knock as a requirement at all ;)

Trainwreck has been very useful. Also, what finally got my game somewhat working, was editing the SSE Engine fixes toml file as instructed by a user in the sse engine fixes forum. I tried starting ASLAL and it was working fine until I talk to the mara statue, then it ctd's. According to the author of ASLAL "The problem actually comes from certain OTHER mods that have done dialogue options that cause some problems with "talking activator" objects. Mara is one such object. The fact that you're getting this problem here is merely a coincidence and you'd have run into it again elsehwere, like during the Molag Bal quest. So Mara has done you a favor in her infinite wisdom."  so I have no idea which of my mods are creating this affect. I think I just have to keep waiting for more mods to patch or update maybe. This was the last trainwreck log I got since installing ASLAL
