Hi, I tried my best to look through the thread to find this information but failed. Can anyone tell me where i can get more information about the "dolls". In my game i can only see options to buy or sell but the "convert house member" is blank.

Maybe because you didn't type the -a argument before the name? Not sure. Nisa changed the format recently, and I haven't used it yet since then. But if you created a sim just to make her a hooker, there's no need to mess with commands. Just play your sim, have her go on the phone to Tam Tab and register as a Lily/Rose.

What do you mean by blank? As it the option is grayed out so you can't select it? That would indicate there are no eligible sims in the household to convert. Remember, you can't convert yourself. And, I'm not sure if this is still true, but it used to be that you couldn't convert teens without the Inappropriate Unlock installed.

I have a household with two people, I was trying to have one of the household members covert the other. When I go to "convert household member" the menu comes up but there are no sims to select. Does it only work with sims who moves into the household and not the "create a sim" sim?

No, it should work with CAS sims. All of my household slaves were CAS sims. The only other thing I can think of is that the sim you want to convert has a trait that makes them ineligible. 

 

Edit: did some quick testing, and I don't think that's likely the problem. Not sure what's going on. Is your target sim actually on the lot right now? Converting them requires them to go on a rabbit hole adventure, and maybe that won't work if they aren't home. Otherwise, I'm starting to feel stumped.

I have a question that I'm not having much luck finding the answer to. Is there something that limits which sims you can be indebted to? I have a game where I want a specific sim to hold the debt of my played sim, but she's not coming up when I try to use the option through the phone. Is there a different way to do it using the pie menu, or a cheat?

You can't register debt to an NPC. The only valid targets will be either played households or "My Households." I'm not 100% sure which, because I always use played households, since all of my pimps are CAS sims that I played.

 

So, if you're trying to register to an unplayed sim, just go play that household for a second, then save and exit back to manage worlds, go back to your original sim, and they should now be able to register debt to the other sim as intended.

Yes they are at home right when I tried it. I tried with just the regular CAS traits and nothing. Then I tried with the nail polish to give her that trait to see if that would help, it did not. I have used the feature in the past with an old save like 2 years ago without any issue. Maybe another mod I have is causing it not to work. Thanks for your help.

So ofc the game update has broken a ton of mods.

As you said, EA already identified the problem is working on solving it (according to themselves). So if anyone is coming here to say "mod broken" please wait

Steam TS4 forum are full of complaints as are the official forums on the issue of what's going on. I haven't touched Ts4 yet and don't intend to until EA get that fix in place and the modders can get to work on updates as and where needed.

WP is safe after today's game update. I don't see any major changes compared to yesterday's patch, and my play testing went fine. Sort of anticlimactic after such a disastrous game update yesterday.

If any of you guys are still getting the ea app 'failed to launch' message like this:



Try to open the game directly through the .exe instead of through the EA app. This seems to help many people with this bug. From my understanding, maxis is still investigating.

Double check your Wicked Whims installation, the LE is saying something from Wicked Whims can't be found, then send me the full raw Last Exception and I'll be happy to take a look at it with you!

Game really slows down when I play with a Succubus. Its fun but scary because the game halts and you wonder if it's crashed or not. Am I the only one who sees this problem? Mostly I just use the house slaves feature. That goes fairly smooth. 

 

edit: NVIDIA settings for Sims 4 was messing it up. I set the frame rate to a fixed 58 fps and set the resolution to the actual screen width, and now succumbus works much better! Timmy the Teenager is now busy trying to turn his grandmothers into "adult-teens"... yeah. Safety is off.  Way to go Tim!

I think it gives support for Mermaid Sims/supernatural/etc being called.

I think the actual mermaids are came from the "The Sims 4: Island Living (https://www.ea.com/en/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/buy/addon/the-sims-4-island-living)".

I'm not seeing any tuning or script changes, so this shouldn't break your mods more than they were already broken. The patch seems to be mostly to address people who have had trouble loading into the game. I'm not seeing any LEs on startup with WW/WP/BMD. WP should be safe!!! 🥳

Lol, it's actually one of my least liked updates (got a lot of hate mail for it), so I never expanded on it.

It makes mermaids more of a life state, imo. You give your mermaids scaly legs again, ala how they were in sims 3. They no longer swear (thanks to scales with no sweat glands) but can overheat. So moisture and heat become something you have to more seriously manage, they have something called Mermaid Intoxication Syndrome, which gives them cold resistance (they can literally swim in the snow) but at the cost of the sim becoming naturally drunk. The idea being, this adaptation lets them survive deep in the ocean, but the byproduct of their body producing a natural antifreeze is alcohol. Some other small changes too.

is the current version with 1.122.218 and WW somehow broken?
in stripclubs i have some dancers with debts so they can perform some sex work there but since updates is not autonomously working!
any idea?

Edited to add: Is this the "buy dolls" thing or is that literal slaves? I go to Eden and the only options I have are to unregister my account for 15k, unregister phone, and then order bouquet.

 

I've read as much as I can find and I'm confused.

I definitely think there is something strange going on with yesterday's game patch.

Like either stand frozen in space, no idle animation, just frozen. Or, they start spinning in place, like oiia. It's not common, but every now and then. Enable testing cheats and shift clicking on them to click on the reset object(debug) immediate interaction seems to fix them and then everything is fine on the lot. Mostly happens with sims loading into the lot. 

Otherwise, if your sims aren't oiiaing, make sure you have at least one stripper manning the poles (it is a strip club afterall, someone needs to attend to patrons for other strippers to feel comfy taking back room deals), and keep in mind if the prostitute isn't a player sim, then you won't get notifications (i'm changing this in the dev build to also send notifications for stripper prostitutes if your sim is the strip club owning sim).

No worries, It's pretty simple. Start a small business like normal. The 'small business activates' are your client activities. Hire some sims, and assign employee activities to each employee, give the one's you want to prostitute the 'be whore' role (found under socials). If they are npcs the game should make them auto into a prostitute if they aren't already, but maxis broke this somehow. So use the console commands to make them a prostitute if you need too!
