I am ready to present my silly naughty edits of Pokémon Red/Blue, Crystal and Emerald after I first teased them back in May 2024 when this thread only had 13 pages.

If you've been waiting for them, I apologise for the long wait and I greatly appreciate your patience.

The kind of features/experience I'm aiming for my lewd Pokémon projects compared to other similar nude hacks are:

• The player character is the only one nude, with support for both male and female. Nude edits aim to keep things on-model by following canonical proportions.
• Edits to the dialogue where NPCs appropriately react to the player being nude whilst retaining the vibe of the game – not too vulgar or smutty.
• In the future, add anatomically-correct genitals to Pokémon sprites.

So far, the player nude sprites are complete. None of the Pokémon sprites have been edited yet. Dialogue edits are unfinished and only last until you complete the 2nd Gym for Red/Blue and 1st Gym for Crystal and Emerald since I only continued work on them this past month. There's plans to continue, but it'll take another long time.

Unfortunately, I can't guarantee that I could fully complete the dialogue edits for Gen I and II due to issues regarding byte size limit.

More text = more bytes = risk of exceeding max size limit. If I'm unable to fix it, I have to switch over to their remakes and port over the textual content.

 

I also can't guarantee if I'll even continue any of these projects further because I want to prioritise on the newer Pokémon games with new nudity reactions and even nude models. I will update this thread with added links to these projects' source files on GitGud when they're ready if anyone's interested in continuing where I left off.

Aseprite project files will also be included if you want to toggle the appearance of accessories like shoes, gloves, and bags.

 

Please familiarise yourself on how to patch a ROM. It's really easy. I suggest using Delta Patcher from Romhacking.net since the patches are in .xdelta format.

 

Pokémon BareRed / BareBlue (GEN I)

Bare Red & Blue or BareRB is a NSFW version of the original Gen I Pokémon games that takes place in an alternate reality where your character travels across Kanto in the nude. Note that because you can only play as Red in this game, the nude player character will always be male.

If you like to play with edited dialogue, play Bare Red.

If you don't want edited dialogue and only want the nude sprites, play Bare Blue.

 

Story Description:

When you wake up in your empty room, you realized that you're not wearing your pajamas, let alone your underwear, like you thought you would.
You cannot find any of your clothes anywhere in your house, all you have is your cap and your bag, so you've no choice but to start your journey as a nudist.

Although you're not conforming to social norms, Professor Oak realized there could be an interesting case study on how the world including Pokémon would perceive your nudity so you've officially been given a special request by the Pokémon Professor to report your findings on your unusual Pokémon adventure that could potentially make history.

Raw Crystal is a NSFW version of the original Gen II Pokémon games that takes place in an alternate reality where your character has to travel across Johto in the raw.

When you wake up in your room, you realized that you're not wearing your pajamas, let alone your underwear, like you thought you would.
You checked your wardrobe only to found out that all of your clothes are gone. All you have is your cap and your bag.

There's no time to find new clothes, however. Professor Elm is expecting you to assist him today so you have no choice but to go on an errand in the raw.

 

Although you're not conforming to social norms, Professor Elm insists that you must help him regardless.

Besides, he sees this as a perfect opportunity to study how the people and Pokémon of Johto would perceive human nudity.

Exposed Emerald is a NSFW version of the original Gen III Pokémon games that takes place in an alternate reality where your character has to travel across Hoenn in the buff. If you're playing with dialogue edits, you must select either male or female version depending on who you're playing as.

The sprites-only version has both male and female player characters naked.

Recently, you and your mother have moved to Littleroot Town in the Hoenn region but it came with a cost - the loss of your dignity.

In order to make the move to Hoenn, your mother thought it's a good idea to sell all your clothes away. Every. Single. One.

As embarrassing as that may be, if you want to start your adventure in Hoenn, you have to travel around in your state of undress.

BONUS: Pokémon Flashing Diamond/Pearl (GEN IV)

Surprise, I also made a NSFW version for Diamond and Pearl. However, it's very early WIP.

Only the male player character, Lucas, is naked because he was lacking nude sprites until now while Dawn already has several.

Not all sprites have been replaced though (only the overworld and intro, no battle), and I prefer to do my own sprite edits for Dawn.

 

The amount of dialogue edits is currently much shorter than my other ones, only lasting until you visit the Pokémon Research Lab in the second town.

It also leans on the fan theory that Lucas/Dawn is the same person as Rei/Akari with references to the Nudity Reactions mod for Legends: Arceus.

 

 Story Description:

A very long time ago on Sinnoh, back when it was called Hisui, there was a certain person who saved the world from destructive spacetime rifts.

But this individual was quite extraordinary. For some reason, this savior was always... naked, and it was rumored they're not from the old region but rather fell from a rift in the sky without any clothing at all which could mean they came from a time where nudity isn't taboo.

 

Fast forward to today however, nudism as a lifestyle is still considered to be unusual in the modern region of Sinnoh.

But on the off-chance that this nudist came from our time, public nudity is legal in Sinnoh, but who would even dare to casually expose themselves in public?

Not to mention there are vintage photographs of the Hisuian Nudist in the history books that show their distinctive face well.

It would take a specific individual who happens to closely resemble that nudist's face to be quite possibly the one who saved Hisui.

 

That person happens to be you, according to your mother who is a fanatic of this prophecy.

She insists that you could be the very same person who saved the world long ago.

But of course, other people in your hometown have their doubts due to how utterly ridiculous that prophecy sounds.

How would that even be possible when there's no such thing as a time machine? Regardless, your mother insists that you'd be naked all the time whether you like it or not because she believes that somewhere in your naked adventure, you would find a way to travel back in time to become the Hisuian Nudist who saved the world.

 

This may be a long-winded story but it all amounts to nothing as the game's plot will still play out the same except you're forced to be naked.

It would take years before Arceus decides to warp you back in time, if you're the same person but even then, Arceus does not care if you're dressed or not, so your mother forbidding you to wear clothes to fulfil this "prophecy" is ultimately unnecessary...unless you think so otherwise as your headcanon.

Disclaimer: I have not finished Legends: Arceus so I don't know exactly how the ending plays out.

Wow these hacks are amazing! The red one is great so it's unfortunate you might not be able to make more of it. It seems like the dialogue in the Crystal one doesn't check at all for male or female and that's limiting the writing a fair bit. Of course would love to see more of any of them. Pokemon sprite edits would be cool as well. Which game specifically would you add them to? It's only gen 4 that they added the ability to have male and female sprite differences. So would it be that one?

Exposed Emerald is a NSFW version of the original Gen III Pokémon games that takes place in an alternate reality where your character has to travel across Hoenn in the buff. If you're playing with dialogue edits, you must select either male or female version depending on who you're playing as.

The sprites-only version has both male and female player characters naked.

Recently, you and your mother have moved to Littleroot Town in the Hoenn region but it came with a cost - the loss of your dignity.

In order to make the move to Hoenn, your mother thought it's a good idea to sell all your clothes away. Every. Single. One.

As embarrassing as that may be, if you want to start your adventure in Hoenn, you have to travel around in your state of undress.

BONUS: Pokémon Flashing Diamond/Pearl (GEN IV)

Surprise, I also made a NSFW version for Diamond and Pearl. However, it's very early WIP.

Only the male player character, Lucas, is naked because he was lacking nude sprites until now while Dawn already has several.

Not all sprites have been replaced though (only the overworld and intro, no battle), and I prefer to do my own sprite edits for Dawn.

 

The amount of dialogue edits is currently much shorter than my other ones, only lasting until you visit the Pokémon Research Lab in the second town.

It also leans on the fan theory that Lucas/Dawn is the same person as Rei/Akari with references to the Nudity Reactions mod for Legends: Arceus.

 

 Story Description:

A very long time ago on Sinnoh, back when it was called Hisui, there was a certain person who saved the world from destructive spacetime rifts.

But this individual was quite extraordinary. For some reason, this savior was always... naked, and it was rumored they're not from the old region but rather fell from a rift in the sky without any clothing at all which could mean they came from a time where nudity isn't taboo.

 

Fast forward to today however, nudism as a lifestyle is still considered to be unusual in the modern region of Sinnoh.

But on the off-chance that this nudist came from our time, public nudity is legal in Sinnoh, but who would even dare to casually expose themselves in public?

Not to mention there are vintage photographs of the Hisuian Nudist in the history books that show their distinctive face well.

It would take a specific individual who happens to closely resemble that nudist's face to be quite possibly the one who saved Hisui.

 

That person happens to be you, according to your mother who is a fanatic of this prophecy.

She insists that you could be the very same person who saved the world long ago.

But of course, other people in your hometown have their doubts due to how utterly ridiculous that prophecy sounds.

How would that even be possible when there's no such thing as a time machine? Regardless, your mother insists that you'd be naked all the time whether you like it or not because she believes that somewhere in your naked adventure, you would find a way to travel back in time to become the Hisuian Nudist who saved the world.

 

This may be a long-winded story but it all amounts to nothing as the game's plot will still play out the same except you're forced to be naked.

It would take years before Arceus decides to warp you back in time, if you're the same person but even then, Arceus does not care if you're dressed or not, so your mother forbidding you to wear clothes to fulfil this "prophecy" is ultimately unnecessary...unless you think so otherwise as your headcanon.

Disclaimer: I have not finished Legends: Arceus so I don't know exactly how the ending plays out.

i've been following this thread for a while just lurking but im coming out to say congratulations! ive been interested in these edits since i first came across them months ago. i feel like you never see good nude mods where npcs actually react to your nudity in fun/appropriate ways, and i especially love the angle of your clothes being sold for exposed emerald. i'll be looking forward to your edits of the gen 6 and 8 games too!

 

by the way, i saw in your original post you mentioned you were open to suggestions for unique scenarios for gens 4 5 and 7. idk if you still need suggestions but i think gen 5 would be a great game to do a nudist family since the mom in that game was a bit more involved in your adventure. there would be lots of great opportunities for some fun dialogue if she were naked too!

 

and i know you said you're more interested in scenarios where you're the only one naked, but i think for gen 7 it could be fun if there were a few other nudists walking around alola. not everyone of course, just a select few trainer sprites that could be used for nudists who might react to you more positively. plus it could be a fun change of pace for everyone in general to be more accepting of someone walking around naked (less "hey put some clothes on!" type reactions and more "oh you decided to get naked today"). and for the unique scenario it could be something just as simple as "it was really hot today"

I believe that just the above sprites are in the ROM. Also, it's Flashing Diamond and Nude Platinum. "Exposed Platinum" isn't a thing.

I'm the head of Nude Platinum and Catnatic is the head of Flashing Diamond.

The Platinum version of Lucas does not have the intro sprites or the front sprite.

Writing for Gen 1 and Gen 2 is already limited to begin with since I can only write 18 characters per line.

For Gen 1, I'm restricted to only write 18 characters for the first line and then 17 for the next consecutive lines unless it's the last one or until I start a new paragraph, because the game replaces the last character on the displayed second line with a down (↓) symbol. Gen 2 fixed this by moving the symbol below the text box.

 

I don't think there's any real checks for the player's gender in Crystal, Emerald and Diamond unlike the modern games.

Although Emerald and Diamond does check in the beginning since the opposite gender characters become NPCs with their own lines, but that seems about it.

I could try to make a macro that refers the player as "boy/girl", "he/she", "him/her", etc., but when it comes to writing unique lines depending on the player's sex, I can only think of making a separate version of the text files that are specifically for male or female versions.

 

If I ever get to it, I like to add NSFW edits of Pokemon for all sprite-based Pokemon games.

Because there's no Pokemon gender in Gen 1, you could just add the ones you preferred.

For Gen 2 and 3 however, I could try to edit the code so the game uses certain sprites of Pokemon depending on their sex.

Gen 4 would be no problem, but I think it's only a select few Pokemon that have gender differences while the rest still use the same sprites.

Having a nudist mother that influenced you to follow the same lifestyle could be a nice idea for a unique scenario for BW1.

It would be interesting in BW2 to meet that same mom who is still practising nudism after you've gone through Unova naked by yourself with a different or similar reason.

 

For Gen 7, I'm definitely leaning on the player character stripping themselves because it's just so darn hot outside since the setting is supposed to be tropical there.

But having NPCs naked as well for the same reason would take much more time and effort since I would have to edit their 3D models too which I rather only do for main characters.

For Gen 4, I only worked on Diamond / Pearl with the name Flashing added to them (like the perverted act of flashing yourself to others, and how diamonds and pearls shine). It seems like the optional rival fight at Viridian before pewter/brock didn't have its dialogue edited, or i wasn't paying attention that's also possible. I can imagine the Rival not responding well to losing so often to a nudist, not spiraling or anything, but definitely getting frustrated as the journey goes on. An idea for a dialogue edit for Erika was her mistaking you for a naturist, thinking that you're nude to be in tune with nature or something like that.

I forgot there's a scene with Blue/Rival at Route 22, precisely because I didn't trigger it for some reason.

A Grass-type Gym Leader like Erika would sound like the kind of person to take kindly of your nudism (or exhibitionism) and assume you're a naturist to be one with nature.

I believe that Pokémon Uncensored Edition did that exact thing with Erika and made her a naturist herself.

I feel that, of the Kanto gym leaders, Erika's probably the most accepting of nudity and most likely to go nudist herself if nudity isn't already normalized in her region.

 

Also, I played through Raw Crystal. Why did you make bug catcher Wade's line so freaky?

I'm definitely using this line once I eventually try to remake Dopeymon in Soul Silver.

I'm just saying, the modern Pokemon games have a much easier and convenient way of handling this where I can add both unique lines of dialogue in the same string and the games would just choose either one depending on your character's gender.

There's also one in the female player Version when Birch tells you to meet Brendan in route 103, where he calls Brendan "her" at some point. I forgot to take a screenshot unfortunately.

I tried applying the text-only crystal sprites, but found that by her left arm, there were glitched textures. Also, her right arm is cut off and one of her nipples is blue instead of black.

Do you know what is causing this?

@Viewier I have finally finished the sprites for the overwold female npcs, it has taken me much longer than I thought due to external factors and many problems with the sprite editing tool, so I had to start several times from scratch on my cell phone, Even so, I will continue retouching some sprites to improve them.

I have no idea because it didn't happen to me when testing both of my patches.

There's no text-only patch, the patch with the edited text comes with the nude sprites.

These patches should only be used to patch the original ROM, not an already patched ROM in case something gets corrupted.

 

The nipple colour is normal, it's just meant to be at a lighter colour as an attempt of shading. It looks fine if it's monochromatic but because the colour palette appears to be incorrect on your screenshot, it may look weirder than usual. The colours are meant to be lighter than that:

I don't have a preference for one or the other but for those who chose that Dahlia not have those balls in her hair here is a sprite of her without the said yellow balls. Depending on the people's decision, they will choose which sprite to use.
