Sims 3 or Sims 4

Hi everyone, i got a quick question, i plan to reistall a sims game, but i don't what would be the best, sims 3 or sims 4 ? I plan to mod the game a lot and i remember sims 3 was getting laggy really quick with mod and not sims 4, but even with those facts i can't decide, maybe i did miss something about how to get a stable sims 3 with a lot of mod ?

 

So i ask for u'r help to make me chose the best game for a nice gameplay with a lot of mod.

i still like the sims 3 more because you simply have a lot more freedom, but sims 4 has a more active modding community now

but yeah... if you don't have a good pc just stay with sims 4 as it's not open world and is a lot more optimized

I have a ggod rig, the problem is that that the game (sims3) get laggy because of mods, it's not a rig problem.

pro: Kinkyworld has more feature: beastiallity, rape, arousal system, magick, droids, prostitution, working school, borthel management, peeping

 the game have more addon, more features it's an open world, lots of mods, tons of sliders and CC.

CAS is just better

 

Con: laggy, long loading time, less new content, lot of content is lost in the internet and doesn't have a download link anymore.
KK has less animations, the boob sliders need lot of time for adjustement.

 

sims4: 

 

pro: The game is more fluid, faster, and stable. 
Wicked whims have tons of animations, and lot of people making new one. I find the sims creation faster to use

 

Con: the game isn't open world, CAS is a scam when put side to side with it's sims 3 brother. 

Far less content in game

 

 

If you have patience and want a better game-experience: Sims 3

 

If you want a faster, porn simulator: Sims 4

Is there a way to make sims 3 stable because i already modded sims 3 and 4 with KK and WW, I prefer sims 3 witj KK but it's getting to laggy in late game

In the sims 3 section there is some tutorials to make it less instable, but it will always be a bit laggy. It's the game you can't change it.

choose precisely your CC, only install some expansion -not all- and pray

TS3 has not even 1000 animations. TS4 has almost 3000 animations.

TS3 takes forever to load, TS4 is almost instantaneous.

Here's the thing, TS3 had quite a few gameplay features that I prefer over TS4, but it was a pain in the ass to run. Even on a good computer TS3 runs like shit and it'll crash if one little thing is off. I run a ton of mods on TS4 and I play it on a freakin MacBook, but it still runs better than when I played TS3 on a desktop. Sure TS4 isn't my favorite game in the series (TS2 still holds that title until we get a weather system in TS4), but I can still find ways to enjoys it without worrying if my game will crash.

 

Also, as previously mentioned, the modding community is much more active for TS4 than TS3, so that's a huge plus.

Sims 3 throws up far less errors than sims 4 + mods, for me. OKW doesn't affect my sims 3.  Sims 4 is awesome but too full of orange error messages!

Because compare to kw, ww is still look like kw in early stage of development.

 

Basically ts3 and ts4 are pretty much the same. But if you to play a full sex mod gameplay right now, definitely kw. The key is right now.

 

But of course you can't miss ts4 and ww too. As ts4 is hot right now and ww is the future. 

 

 

Beside of the more features than ww, kw huge advantages over ww is the social aspect. I hope turbodriver after done with period feature, he continue with the social aspect. 

 

I have several ideas for ww. Like when female sims is dancing in the club, some men take advantage by groping her from behind. Lol

S3 8/2015-6/2017 and again in 2018 (OKW update)

 

In many parts S4 is very very comfortable to use. But you have to read many descriptions of the mods and CC creators very intensiv and use mods and CC carefully to save your game or just your sims from conflicts.

 

But it is always the question what you prefer personally in gameplay.

To use S4 is a good idea – because if this was S3 you would miss many many in game options if you try out S4 later. What you never know, you wouldn´t miss like:

Create A Style in S4. Or you miss the mesh of a S4 CC and the thing doesn´t work. In S3 meshes are included in CC. Not every S4 creator tells in the description where you can get the needed mesh.

 

S3 DL lots are complete incl. CC (if you got the eventually requiered EP).

S4 you have to dl all needed CC on your own, unzip / put it in your mods folder and the lot-files in the tray folder.

 

Adult gaming

 

Yeps, some WW animations show more or less static movements in action. But this gets better and better and might be the future. But to get your S4 sims fit for adult gaming.... overrides and conflicts.

You cannot use this or that with this and that. To use this, you have to delete that...

 

This will not bother all the users, who play more default and Maxis style, but if your interested in very realistic sims Alpha styled you need many CC and some skins / overlays and others conflict and override others (imho especially if face shapes you do not like are included).

 

And some things might be interesting too. S3 is fully patched, S4 is not, you have to handle this.

OKW and WW BOTH are imho very stabil mods if correctly installed. Problems mostly come from other mods or CC or hacked games / EP / SP.

 

I like to visit my S3 bunch and OKW again in next weeks – or check out Skyrim with mods first time... ;-)

The thing I like about kw is the social aspect and well integrated to the gameplay.

 

Sims recognized nakedness and cloth sexiness (with 5 stages from 0 to 5), and then get aroused with it. As well as many thing that makes sims get aroused. 

 

When sims get aroused, interesting thing happened, as sims start take a peek, teasing, groping, self masturbating, masturbate on sleeping sims, then lead to woohoo and rape. 

 

 

WW hasn't have this social aspect. As well as arousal or desire system is kinda confusing. Many sims who don't have desire, jump to ask for sex out of nowhere. While sims who is aroused, do nothing or doesn't who any sign that he is aroused, just an empty buff.

 

I hope turbodriver after he is done with period feature, will work for the social aspect of ww.

I have to try this too. And meet my beloved Lotharios and Tom Peeping again.

But switching all few days between S4 and S3 (and to handle CC packages) would drive me insane.

There's new features like sims physical attractive (1 to 10), cloth sexiness/revealing (1 to 5) and body part lover trait (big breast, muscular, tattoo, etc), and many kind of new interactions. 

 

I haven't try the prostitution, school and modelling career yet.

The problem with sims 3 is that it get very unplayable past a certain stage, even with merged patchs.

I prefer sims 3 for OKW but after a 20/30 hours gameplay it get sadly unplayable. (it's the only problem i have with that game)

I just hope WW will come to be as deep as OKW in term of possibility.

Actually ts3 itself is like that too, after playing long hours. Adding kw, it makes it worser.

 

But there's some tricks to fix it. Like cleaning your savegame, use download fix, nraas mods, etc. 

 

 

I completely agree about WW. Actually besemental drug is already surpassing kw drug feature, it just need more further integration with ww. 

 

What I fear, turbodriver is not so kinky and much less dark as Onikikay. Ww perhaps will fall just like passion mod. 

 

What I like about Onikikay is her taste and vision. It's the thing that is hard not to leave ts3. There's no other sex game or sex mod that is like Kinkyworld yet.

3 vanilla is better gameplay wise.

4 is only good if you mod it. If you don't use any mod, it's trash. So pick Sims 4 only if you know you will use some mods. Mods bringed S4 to life because without them the game is awful.

 

I personally think the main feature of Sims 4 (called "emotions") is not really great, multitasking should've been the major feature of the game, unfortunately it's not the case even if it's here.

Sims 3 is absolutely the better game from a gameplay/feature fun perspective.  However, it runs like crap on modern computers.  If you have a good computer with a processor with lots of cores, get sims 4.  Sims 3 barely runs on my modern gaming pc.  I have a 6th gen i7 with 8 cores, and 2 gtx 1080s sli, it runs like shit.  On my first gaming desktop from years ago, it ran wonderfully with all expansions installed and mods.  It would take 20 minutes to load, sure, but after that the fps would stay steady, animations wouldn't freeze, and it wouldn't crash.  That was on some shitty intel processor and a gtx 580.  Sims 3 runs worse on my modern computer than my older one which absolutely sucks given how much of a better game the sims 3 is. 

 

Seriously, I love the sims 3 and if my old gaming pc didn't die I'd be booting that thing up just to play it more.  That said, Sims 4 vanilla is really bad.  You'll want to get at least all the expansion packs and game packs or you'll feel very underwhelmed very quickly.

Oupsi... that wonderful Turbodevil maybe not so kinky now - but I guess, this beloved creator is a bit younger than beloved adorable OnikiKay and I guess, Turbo likes to get some experiences from the users too. But we should be active and show what we like to get at WW.

 

Wishes (animations and the script mods) many of us got a lot - but for some things experience and input is needed. So we users should share our best at LL - own rl experiance / in game experiance and screenshots - and do not forget to mention and SHOW laggy problems in special threads / topics.

Vanilla gameplay - I m still a nerd with this and never played normal gaming - I prefer CAS and Create a style. Creating own sims (S3 / S4) and recolor nearly everything in game (S3).
