I am just learning all this staff. When OKW or AW is created, we should indicate the animations package name is reporting to. That's why you find them in the key. At least, it was what I have observed.

The name of a clip is given outside blender. Know that the game does not read names. The game reads FNV hashes, so if you double click a clip with S3PE and add a name in name field and just save it, you have done nothing! You must, after naming that clip to click the FNV64 button and see that its instance number changed. If this happens, you have rename the clip. If the instance remains the same, you found its name by luck!  Go then quickly and play LOTO!  You might be a millionaire!

I've been using Animated Woohoo and now it's time to replace it with Passion. :smile: I have only read a couple of pages in this thread, so I apoligize in advance if my ideas aren't new or if they are dumb. :blush:

 

Since sims can get pregnant by using the animations now, would it be possible to make it so when you start the session that you could choose "safe sex", "risky sex" and "try for baby sex"? And that you could set the chance/risk values in for "risky" and "try for baby" in the settings?

 

If any animators are reading this, it would be nice with long animations that includes foreplay, sex and "grand finale". Maybe 45 - 60 sec long animations. It would feel more romantic then, when you don't have to click to change the positions.

No, that was not my attention. I said that sometimes you might get the name if you have a clue. I upload to you some very old animations, that don't worth to be AW, either KW  just to see that I got their names, searching around, and I did the same as you did in a different way. I got the name for example "facka" and I copy/paste it to any clip that had no name, I clicked the FNV64 button of S3PE, until I saw no change in clips reference. Then I got its name, that I add it to the clips I upload to you, some time ago (Falling Esper). Falling Esper had no names in the clips.

 

If you do what I said, you can rename the clips.

If for an accident the clip resource is not changed, it means that you got its name and that is a number far beyond LOTO!

LOTO is not 64 bit yet!!!!

Two sim traits get embarrassed when a passion starts in the lot or room. Shy and Proper. Also children and pets get that interaction, to leave the room and never come back no matter if you interact them to!

What of all those above you sim is?

Since CmarNYc made a Pregnancy Progress Controller long time ago, I believe that this all pregnancy thing is changed in our days. With this controller, you can stop pregnancy, get labor right now, choose the gender or the number of the children or their sex. Choose also if the sim that labor them is male or female...

I, my self stopped using the pregnancy setting long ago! I have this disabled always and as far I got better and more beautiful sims in my game, with out using the game pregnancy shirty system...

What of all those above you sim is? 

She's a Young Adult and has none of those traits. (Her traits are Excitable, Nurturing, Charismatic, Irresistible, Hopeless Romantic, Family-Oriented and Loves the Outdoors). I had to turn off the setting for invalid sims to leave the room so she could Solo Woohoo.

I have been using Graphical XTC to make sims pregnant, and then "Randomize Genetics" in Master Controller. I guess I COULD change the pregnancy settings in Passion before trying to make a sim pregnant/or have risky sex that way. :smile:

Passion has a precedence risk of pregnancy. If it's risky or not, depends on the animations category. In autonomous passion if the risk precedence is 10% for example and passion plays 3 vaginal animations in row the chance increase to 30% and this is random, because the animations it choose is random. GTXC has a set of animations for each object and gives a 10% chance for the set. So passion chances of pregnancy are a bit more than GTXC.

I have just learned Passion does not follo w probabilities laws. If Passion does the probability for pregnancy should be equal to 0.271

p=0,1

-> q=1-p = 0,9

If 3 vaginal in the row q = 0,9^3 = 0,729. SO P = 1-0,729= 0,271.

 

If there is 10 vaginal in the row, pregnancy is certain -> p=1

 

With Law probabilities : p=0,651... This is far from 1

 

OK I stop. I start to bore everyone.

As @TwilightStorm said you have to keep the stacking effect in mind I usually set mine at around 2-5%

Since slider values are inherited I've used to fix the entire population without having to bring a sim in CAS at the bottom he details how to use a random distribution value.

Now you got my attention!

Whatever I've done as far with Alfiechan's pregnancy procedure, was to expand his pregnancy condition for some NPCs that should never get pregnant, because in any case of their pregnancy, they screw the game. I found out that tourists, time travelers, homeless, temporary modified sims such as werewolf's, zombies, frog heads etc should be exclude from pregnancy because if they get pregnant, they bouncing game's managers! 

 

This shirty thing, was first mentioned to me from @namaradus and I made a new version of passion in the past, that @namaradus gave me a lots of help, testing this, at that time.

When all this was fixed, I stopped fucus to pregnancy, because I don't and I never used it.

 

I understand the part of the algorithm above, but I don't know where you found the probability of 0,651.

This came from the probabilities law of mathematics or is something else that you found? 

... and believe me, I never ever thought of that. (to check that his algorithm works with probabilities law or not!)

 

P/S Who said that a mathematic is a person in dark/black room that seeks for a black cat, that never existed!

In fact, Statisticians hate to have to say that an issue is certain. 

0,651 comes from the formule p=1-q^10=1-(0,9)^10)=0.651

 

If you setup pregnancy rate at 0,10 and Passion only checks if the random variable is smaller or equal to 0,10. The pregnancy follow a probability law.

 

More often you try, bigger will be the probability to be pregnant. But at every try, the probability remains the same (1/10 for instance)

Good point! The probability for the second time isn't 2/10 but actually another chance at 1/10.

Hi Stormy ! I have been playing around in s3pe and added objects to some animations that were made for other objects :smiley: Found a great one in using the stove with the washingmachine/dryer animations, they don't match 100 % but are beliievable and made the stove move :astonished::smiley: . Have added coach/sofa animations to the coffeetable and sauna + toilet and are having a great time exploring. In doing this i got reminded of something i have wanted in passion for a long time and that is the stand alone sink to be able to play the counter animations. Some will probably not be a 100 %  match as it don't have the same width in size but i think it would be great if you could make it available for passion. I have a scene in mind from the movie Fatal Attraction with Glenn Close, where they have sex in the kitchen on the sink and she washes his face in the water she gets on her hands behind her. Im not saying that you should have the water running when the sink is used for passion, but it would be a great supplement for passion when the lovers are out on the town. With the new door animations the sims have been keen users of the doors for sex autonomically, and the toddlers and animals run for cover LOL Welll i'll let you get back to modding, and good luck working on the next update on this great mod Passion. Hey MrsSanta!

I will add the sink and also in autonomy. I think that all counter animations can work also with this object.

I'm working with StrapOn again and this time is from scratch.

There are so many conditions with this object and from what I saw as far I covered it less than 50%.

Toilet Stall is added and works perfect and I have to work with a new object - toy in Sims 3, Assser gave me and it will be a surprise in sims hands!

Sorry if this is a dumb question that has been answered before, but I read the faq and I still don't really get what Passion is.

 

I mean, it says it plays animations for animated woohoo and oniki kinky world. Does that mean it has to be used alongiside them? It expands on them?

 

But then it lists a bunch of features very similar to features seemingly already present on OKW, so... it changes them? Conflicts with them?

That means You can launch AW or OKW animations with Passion. In the FAQ, you have all the features of Passion.

 

The main difference between Passion and Kinky is Kinky modify Sims3 in a new game with all the advantages and disadvantages. Passion doesn't.

KW conflicts with alot of things.

But yes they will conflict. If you choose to keep both use separate game folders. In the past when I had both I had a Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 3 folder for KW and then one for Passion.

When I played KW I would move my Passion Sims 3 folder to my Desktop rename it and then move the KW folder to Documents>Electronic Arts folder and vice versa if I played with Passion.
