Ngl, no matter what I do I cant get the second one. I even made sure Vikar was the only person to have sex with the PC, still nothing. Paid him 50, took him as witness and then chose him to marry, witchhouse scenario, agreed to save up for land, resolved the arson, hadn't saved up for house yet. The PC always sits in front of the ruined house.

I have no idea why you cannot get it. Low Karma?

try to choose before resolved arson: decided to finish other things first > imperial corporal scenario > guard and dancer scenario > give the fake dreamcatcher

Just so we're clear, you're not talking about skip options here, right? Because when you type like that it looks like skip prompt selections that I don't have when I use the skip function. As far as I know, Dogma didn't implement that yet? If not a skip option, you're telling to use the startscene command startscene hp_VikarLQ_09_skip_vikar_scene  after playing normally through his quest until the point he opened his little market before the arson happens?

There is this confusion, at least for me, about this Vikar scene. It  was said it's a scene meant to appear after you use the skip option, but there were also people saying about a minor interaction during the cart scene when you leave to Solitude. So, which is it? Or there are two Vikar scenes here?

I did manage to get both skip scenes, the key for me was to switch to 1.3.2. 1.3.1 didn't work.

These are 2 separate scenes. The 'cart scene' is also just some dialogue, not a major scene.

So, you just need to use the console command? Does it work right after you skipped to 0.9?

How? I have the 1.3.2 version and still get the error in console when I put the command.

item ''command here'' not found for parameter Scene.
How exactly did you do it.

I managed to get things working, and yeah, I was using version 1.3.0 without knowing, so the prompts were not updated.

Ok our recent little digging to find Vikar and farmers skip scenes got me thinking. Is it possible to activate any scene from mod at any time using startscene command? I tried triggering some with ids i found in xedit but none worked. There has to be some condisions met for scenes to trigger like that? Like being in proper location or something? Or this has to be in specific quest stage or with aliases?

@brewmasterhal is the one that tinkered the most with that kind of stuff, I believe

Managed to fix my issue with save corruption and ctd from a few days ago, it turns out that thief was the final mod that broke the camel's back and put me over the esp limit for the game. Excited to finally try it out

I do mean the skip options. These two scenes were added in 1.3.2. No need the commands. @Highborn @kakaer

Yeah, I posted above that I was using an older version. The skip options appeared when I updated for 1.3.2 version.

So, there are 2 different scenes for Vikar and farmers each, making it 4 scenes total? Is that right? Do you know the ID for them?

wait mb.. i typed incorrectly..  i mean there are just those 2 skip scenes.. 1 with vikar and 1 with farmers... and small (just character waving him goodbye) while leaving from falkreath to solitude using cart... if vikar only has shop on the road and hes there sitting when u leave

There are definitely conditions.

Check out the SCEN file format page and you can see that there is a CTDA block as the last entry in the top-level data structure (in TES5Edit, it will be the last thing in the SCEN record).  Whatever conditions are listed in that block definitely must be fulfilled before the scene can be started.  The flags within the FNAM block may also prevent a scene from starting under some circumstances?

Other conditions that are usually necessary are things like being in the Cell where the scene takes place, and having all Actors involved in the scene be loaded into the Cell as well, although they don't necessarily have to be visible (enabled) for the scene to begin.

@brewmasterhalyo, hope you are doing well. Did you put mod translation on hiatus or still working on it?

I've been trying to start a business for the last year and a half or so.  Between that and work it doesn't leave too much spare time.  I do occasionally get to work on personal projects, but its sporadic and only a few hours at a time.

How do you get the scene/dialogue with Vikar and the cart?

Only thing I noticed is that the PC waves goodbye to him when the cart passes by, and when the sex starts, Vikar walks into the cart’s direction but it starts moving before he comes near and then he goes back to his market stall. No dialogue.

Ah. I see. Maybe Dogma's idea was for him to say something when he sees the PC and the coachman doing it. But guess he didn't have the time.
