Popular Post brewmasterhal
Notice: the latest version of the FAQ is here. The v0.9.1.2 release is out, and that means it's time to update the walkthrough/FAQ! Mod Installation: Spoiler Uninstallation Spoiler Before you install the latest version, make sure that you uninstall and delete any files from any previous versions of the mod. Most notably, any files unpacked from the .bsa archive, or added by any of my minor patches. Most notably: The folder \Data\Meshes\BD\ and its contents should be deleted The script \Data\Scripts\hp_liorel_var.pex should be deleted The folder \Data\Sound\Voice\dogma - thief\ and its contents should be deleted The folder \Data\Textures\BD\ and its contents should be deleted The file \Data\Texures\clothes\prisoner\m\clothes.dds should be deleted Base Mod Spoiler Download the base mod and install it. If you're not using my version of the mod, simply choose the Russian or English version. To fix a couple of small script errors, you should also download and install the "fix1.rar" file, which will place two .pex scripts in your \Data\Scripts\ folder. Translation Spoiler If you want to use my version of the mod, download the file "Thief v0.9.1.2 Release - BME.7z" from my public folder and install it over the base installation. It will over-write the files "Dogma - Thief.esp" and add a new mod file named "Dogma - Thief Fixes - Quest Vars.esp" which does nothing but modify some quest strings. If you installed an older version, you may need to delete the file "\Data\Scripts\hp_liorel_var.pex" to get the Liorel sidequest to work correctly. If you want to play with the dialog yourself, you can download the translation files and open them in xTranslator. You may also need to download the Russian and/or English strings files. Patreon-Exclusive Extended Version Spoiler There is currently an extended version of the mod that is exclusively available to certain Patrons on Dogma's Patreon page. It can be downloaded from the associated post and installed just like the v0.9.1.2 release. It already includes the script fix, so there's no need to install that as well. My translation of the extended version can be found in the corresponding public folder, and is also installed just like the v0.9.1.2 version. All of the "Fixes" files from the public version should still be compatible with the extended version. There is also a "Thief Extras - More Boob Dialogs.7z" file, which simply changes the initial dialog with Angeline when you go to get ointment to make her comment on the player's breast size rather than age. I'm not sure if I'll do too much of this in the future, but this seemed like a good opportunity to turn some bland dialog into a joke about huge tits causing back problems. Fixes Spoiler I've split the fixes into five files, so that you can use only the ones you want. "Thief Fixes - STFU Narri.7z" removes a few dialog lines from the base game, thus preventing characters from being annoying and/or talking over the quest dialog. If you have some other mod that accomplishes the same thing, or if hearing "Maybe we should hire Tekla on here..." every thirty seconds doesn't bother you, you can skip this one. "Thief Fixes - Mesh & Texture.7z" fixes some issues with meshes and textures in the base mod, like Lod having a blue face and Kust wearing his belt knife to bed. Now also including a custom texture for Liorel's book and a custom texture for the Lunar Nirnroot. "Thief Fixes - Scale = 1.0.7z" just sets the height and weight of every race and sex to be exactly 1.00. If you're not having alignment issues, then you don't need this. For this fix to work, you have to load it after any other mod that modifies the races, which also means that it will override all changes made by those mods. As a result, this is sort of a "nuclear option" fix, since it will wipe out a lot of cosmetic mods. Dogma has worked hard to fix all of the scaling issues people have had, so this should no longer be necessary. "Thief Fixes - Dialog 2.7z" fixes a logical issue that prevented access to a branch of dialog with Liorel in which he tries to convince you to practice the sex positions from the torn pages. "Thief Fixes - No Player Voice.7z" replaces all of the Russian sound clips of speech with empty sound files. If you don't like the Russian voices and would prefer silence, use this. Like the translation archives, these are all mod manager compatible. Just install the ones you need. Walkthrough Spoiler Part 1: Riften Spoiler The mod starts in Riften, in The Bee and Barb. If you are playing as a female, have no followers, and are carrying a few hundred gold, a Nord man named simply "Stranger" will approach you and offer to buy you a drink. Accept, follow him to his table, and sit opposite him to begin the quest. If you stop after one drink, you wake up in the inn; if you take a second drink, you instead wake up in the canal area outside. Either way, you're naked and everything you had is gone. Find and equip some clothing, and proceed to the jail to report the robbery. Captain Stanius offers you four options for investigating the crime: Pay him a bribe of 100 gold Give him a handjob Agree to sleep with him after the investigation Just wait it out No matter what you choose, when you leave the jail you will get a pop-up asking if you want to wait or skip. It's highly recommended that you skip waiting for the investigation. If you bribe him, agree to sleep with him, or choose to simply wait, you leaving the jail happens now. If you opt for the handjob route, walk into the nearby room and move into the corner to the left with straw on the floor. You're given the option to either wait for him or escape the jail. If you choose to escape, the result is the same as choosing to wait, and you just leave the jail. If you wait, after a few seconds he will walk in and undress. If you're naked when he walks in, he will comment on it. After a few seconds of handjob, he tries to force a blowjob, and you get the option to allow or refuse. If you allow it, you later get the option to accept the offered 50 gold, or refuse it. Whatever your choices here, leave the jail and skip the wait. The face-fucking "torn page" is awarded for this scene. After some time passes, a Riften guard will run up to you. If you agreed to sleep with Stanius previously, the message is simply to return to his office and meet with him; otherwise you will receive the case report at this point. If the former, go back and talk with him. You now have options: Meet him in Haelga's Bunkhouse after 19:00 on any night Pay him a bribe of 200 gold Wait until he leaves at about 18:00 and break into his safe Poke the safe too many times and get stabbed to death (not recommended - fails quest) If you want to break into the safe, check the books on the shelves until you find the one with the combination written in it, then use the combination to open the safe. Reading the books can be done in Stanius's presence, so long as you don't try to steal them. Either this or paying the increased bribe amount gets you the case report. If you meet with him in Haelga's (he's right from the front door, on the bench by the door to the cellar), talk to him once, then walk away. After a moment, your character has an idea. Return to him and say you need to drink. He'll walk upstairs by the hearth and stand there for an in-game hour or so. During this time you can't fast travel, wait, sleep, or do much of anything, and if you wait too long he'll return to the bench; if this happens, you can talk to him again and repeat the process, but if you stand him up a second time your only option is to steal the report from the safe to continue. Follow him up to the hearth, and you get a minigame. Simply hit the spacebar before the bar fills to win, and don't do that to lose. If you lose, you will black out and wake up on the floor, naked once again; if you win, Stanius will pass out and you will sleep on the bed. In the morning, return to Stanius's office in the Jail and he will give you the case report. If you failed the mini game, you can use any method to add a "Memory Potion" to your inventory. If you return to the bed in the bunkhouse and drink the potion, you get a scene where you remember what happened while you were blacked out. At this point, you've either been stabbed to death or you have the case report and can read it to proceed to part 2 of the mod. If you stopped after one drink back in The Bee and Barb, the case report has a post script suggesting that you go talk to Keerava, who will give you some basic items (including health potions). Part 2 Spoiler Once you arrive in Windhelm, you're introduced to a new mechanic: asking random people if they've seen the thief. You need to ask about a half-dozen people before one will tell you to talk to Jona in the New Gnisis Cornerclub. An easy place to find lots of people is Candlehearth Hall, just inside the main gate. Unless you're a dark elf, upon entering the club you'll be thrown out by the proprietor. There will then be a Dunmer man named Liorel leaning against the wall to the right. Talk to him. He offers to get you into the club if you'll bring him five purple mountain flowers. If you refuse that, he then offers to get you in if you let him perform cunnilingus on you. You can agree to meet him in his room in Candlehearth Hall, or blackmail him by threatening to tell Jona about his proposal. If you meet with him in his room, he asks you to undress and sit in the chair at the foot of the bed. Once he's finished, you have the option of telling him it was good, bad, or mediocre. If you select either good or bad, you get the option of an additional scene, where you 69 with him on the bed. This is the only way to unlock the "torn page" for 69. Once he leaves the room, you can use the chair again to get a quick bonus masturbation scene. Return to the New Gnisis and talk to him outside again. Now that Liorel has been persuaded to get you into the club, by whatever means, he goes inside to talk to Ambarys. After a short scene, he returns and tells you that you can go in. Head in and talk to Jona. Once you get the information from Jona, walk back outside and Liorel will stop you again. He has a proposal for you, but there's not much reason to continue with his side quest at the moment because even if you already have a page, you can't proceed with it yet. For more information on Liorel's book and training side quest, see the entry in the FAQ about it. You can either walk to the quest marker, or you can use the console command "movetoqt bd_mq" to simply teleport there. Part 3 of the mod is next. Part 3 Spoiler Once you reach the quest marker, your character stops to think for a minute. Take this opportunity to run southeast to the nearby Eldergleam Sanctuary cavern, and get the map market for it if you don't already have it; you'll be coming back here later. Across the pool from the little vantage point that you stop on, to the northwest, there's a little channel that leads into another pool. As you near the other pool, you'll see a naked girl bathing, and if you look to the left near some trees you can see a naked man having a wank. Go up and talk to him, and he tells you to leave him alone. Now tell the bathing girl about him, and she has the predictable reaction and flees. The boy gets angry and starts pouting. Talk to him again. He agrees to tell you what he knows about the thief if you can beat him in rock-paper-scissors. To win, hit space bar while when the slider is in the middle of the bar and the bar is green. The closer to the middle you get, the higher your chances of winning that throw. Win three times and he tells you where to go. Lose, and you either have to strip for him and let him wank, or fail the quest. After the scene, you can challenge him again. The difficulty of winning the mini game doesn't change between events. Winning has the same outcome as before. Losing results in either letting him finger you or failing the quest. If you lose the third round of RPS, you have to give him a handjob or fail the quest. If your karma is at least 15 during this, you can choose to blow him partway through, which has the result of granting you the "torn page" for the standard blowjob position. By whatever method, you've now convinced him to tell you where to go. Proceed to part 4. Part 4 Spoiler Once you arrive in Whiterun, you get to ask the locals about the thief again. Unlike the other times this happens, you can't ask the guards inside the town, but the two outside guarding the main gate can be asked. The best place to find people to talk to is the market, which you need to go to anyway. In the market, by the well, is a beggar who will stop you if you get close. You can give him some coins, ignore him, or be mean to him, but there isn't yet any real impact to this decision. Head into The Bannered Mare and talk to Hulda about getting a job. She tells you that she needs a waitress, and if you agree you start by using the chest behind her in the corner to change clothes. Once you're changed, the job begins. Talk to any of the NPCs named "Customer" and they will order some combination of fish, pork, and fruit. Return to Hulda and repeat the order, then return to the customer to deliver the order. Finally, give the payment to Hulda. On the third time you bring the payment back to Hulda, she gives you a tray and asks you to take it to the balcony upstairs. Head up there and meet the old man. The old man is a huge douche. After the little scene where he insults you and demands recompense, you have a few options: Agree to lick him clean, if you have the required 10 karma Offer to strip for him or give him a kiss Tell him off and return to Hulda If you choose the licking option, there's a scene in which you service him quite extensively, and then he throws you out. If you choose to strip, he admires you for a bit and then demands more. If you choose a kiss, there's a quick scene of it, with a bonus if you stripped for him first; afterwards he demands more. You can off to let him lick you, but he refuses, or you can tell him you'll return later and he lets you go; if you have at least 8 karma you can offer to blow him, which gets more interesting. During the blowjob your character will stop, and he will offer you 10 gold to finish; you get the following options: If you have at least 15 karma, you can agree to that If you have at least 25 karma, you can ask for more You can tell him you'll return later If you ask for more, he'll offer you 12, but only if you agree to swallow. You can take that offer, take the offer of 10, or back out entirely. Taking the raised offer results in the completion of the scene, and then he throws you out. If you instead take the first offer, you get some additional options after the scene finishes. If you stop at the washbasin in his room, you can choose to spit there or not. Spitting in his room results in another set of scenes and leads to a "bad end" scenario and quest failure. If you leave the room, you will instead spit into the nearby vase. No matter what path you've taken, you need to return to Hulda. If you chose to lick him or took the swallow path, you'll be covered in semen and Hulda will make a comment about it. If you at any point told him to fuck himself, Hulda go upstairs to talk to the old man for about a minute, leaving you at the bar. When she returns, she tells you that you either have to go back and let him fuck you, or you're fired (another way to fail the quest). On your way back upstairs, a Khajiit will stop you and offer to give you some poison you can use to kill the old man instead of sleeping with him. Take it or don't, the Khajiit currently does not make a reappearance no matter what you choose to do. When you get back to the old man, you can choose to poison him if you opted for that route, or go through with it. A karma below 20 results in getting raped, while a value 20 or higher results in vaguely consensual sex. After the scene, if you have at least 30 karma you can use the bed to get a revenge scene where you pee on his bed. Having sex with the old man awards you with the "torn page" for edge-of-the-bed doggy style. If you took any of the previous options that included promising to return and have sex with him later, you can keep the promise and receive the page at any point from part 5 forward, so long as you have at least 60 karma; make sure to talk to Hulda before and after for a free 100 gold. Kill him or fuck him, then return to Hulda. Now that the old man has been dealt with, by whatever method, Hulda sends you to a table in the back to continue the quest. When you near the table, by the big spit over the fire, you recognize the thief and have two options for how to proceed. Choose either, the result is the same: he escapes, you change back into your clothes and quit your side gig as a waitress, and chase after him. If you gave the beggar some coins earlier or do so now, he will tell you which way the thief went. Head toward the main gate and you'll stop and pick up his hat. Continue outside to the stables, where you witness him steal a horse and respond by immediately stealing a horse to give chase. Follow him as he goes west, then southwest, then south, until you're knocked off of your horse. If at any point during this chase sequence the big bar fills up, you lose him and fail the quest. You're now accosted by two bandits. After a short conversation, you have the following options: Fight them Run away Strip, if you have at least 11 karma Fighting and running are self-explanatory, but if you strip you get another choice: offer to fuck the leader, which results in a fight that allows you to escape, or if you have at least 20 karma you can offer to fuck them both, which results in a DP rape scene. If you go with the rape route, once you regain control, you have a minigame. Mash WASD rapidly to build up the bar until it fills, and your character stands up. Next, you need to free your hands; the fire gives you the tools necessary to do this. Finally, to unlock the chest, you need to check the cloth sack that one of the bandits is using for a pillow, which contains the key. While you're here, you can choose to ride the sleeping bandit by interacting with him over and over until you get a pop-up. This is just a bonus scene: there are no consequences or karma changes whatever you choose. Having escaped from the bandits, head to the water mill that was just up the road to the east. Once you cross the bridge, you'll stop to examine a puddle of blood on the road. Continue down the road, keeping an eye out for more blood. You'll need to make a right turn, and you'll pass a small Nordic ruin off the road slightly on your right which you may want to get the marker for to save a little time later. Eventually the blood trail turns left off the road by a low fence, and proceeds up the nearby hill, where you finally find the thief's dead horse. After a quick scene, part 5 begins. Part 5 Spoiler Head down the hill into Falkreath and begin asking about the thief again. If you ask about half a dozen people, you'll be told that Lod the blacksmith was seen with the thief. Lod denies having met the thief, but if you already have that information then you call him on the lie. Alternatively, if you ask Lod before you're told about him, your character realizes he's lying; you then have the option of breaking into his house to find proof or just continue to ask around about it. Once you've caught Lod in the lie, you get a lot of options for trying to get him to tell you what he knows. Some lead nowhere, but you can bribe or threaten him to get him to talk. If you have at least 11 karma, then you can use the option "Why won't you just tell me?" to lead to a scene with him. You start with a blowjob, but Lod's been taking lessons from Darth Vader and he keeps changing the deal, starting by tearing off your clothes and starting to fuck you. If you have at least 20 karma, you can allow him to finish, and he'll tell you where to go. You can also demand that he tell you first (although he continues to thrust the entire time). If you demand the information first, and you have at least 40 karma, Lod will switch positions partway through. Once he has told you where to go, if you're still getting fucked, you have the option of making him stop, or with at least 25 karma you can keep your promise. Keeping your promise leads to him making you a free daedric weapon of your choice, and more options later. Lod tells you to talk to Zoe, in the local alchemist's shop "Grave Concoctions" which is just to the right from Lod's shop, past the jarl's house. Zoe tells you to go check on a witch, who lives in a little hut on top of a hill overlooking the graveyard (from the Hall of the Dead, head northeast up the little path, past the little pools fed by the waterfalls, to the burned out shack. Once there, you can examine a bunch of objects, but to get into the hidden basement you need to examine the bed, then crouch and examine the trap door under the bed, then examine the bed again. With the trap door exposed, you can go in and fight the fire atronach. If you're having trouble with this fight, you can console kill it or use any other cheesy tactics (getting a daedric weapon from Lod makes every fight very easy, even at level 1). After a quick scene, return to Zoe for another scene (skippable). Zoe sends you to Runil at the Hall of the Dead (or the graveyard) to arrange the witch's burial, and he sends you to the Dead Man's Drink to retrieve Kust the gravedigger. Go to the Dead Man's and you'll overhear the two farmers at the bar talking about you. Kust is in the large room on the right; go in and tell him to get back to work, and he'll tell you to leave. You can now convince the curiously silent bard to sing "The Age of Aggression" to distract Kust and steal his coin pouch, and he'll run out of money. If you instead go back to Zoe and talk with her (skippable), she gives you two other options: drug his mead or trade him sex for the money. Depending on your karma, the scene after you leave the alchemist's shop changes. If you opt to drug him, simply make the potion and add it to his mead bottle while he's distracted by the bard. If you have at least 50 karma, you can prostitute yourself to Kust for his money. This entails a mini game where you try to make him orgasm before a candle burns out. Curiously, this event is timed using real time, meaning that even if you pause the game the timer is still running. If you fail at this game, you get a long scene with Kust and the two farmers from the bar, in which Kust shows off your body and offers to pimp you out for booze. If you get this scene, it can impact later events. To win the game, you want to left-click constantly, at least once per second, to build up the big bar on the left side of the screen. Right-clicking will switch between oral, which builds the pink erection bar, and sex, which drains the erection bar but builds the two big bars much faster. Start with oral until you get the erection bar high, then switch back and forth between oral and sex to try to keep the erection bar above about 25% and trying not to fill the bar on the right. If you succeed at this, the outcome is the same as just stealing the money. Once Kust's drunken bender has been cut short, return to Runil in the Hall of the Dead and have a quick chat with him. Your next task is to move the body, so head back into the Dead Man's and talk to the beggar to get him to follow you into the witch's basement. That done, you can choose to pay him, or tell him to get lost for a small karma gain. Finally, return to Zoe in the shop and have another chat with her. Zoe tells you to find a place to sleep until morning. You can go back to the Dead Man's and rent Kust's old room from Valga for a few coins, or if you kept your word with Lod you can make a deal to sleep in his bed for the night. Staying with Lod results in a scene, and is a repeatable event starting in part 6. In the morning, you can find Runil standing in the graveyard and ask him about Zoe. Zoe is now in the witch's basement, where she remains for the rest of the mod. Along the way, Kust may stop you. If you're nice to him and give him back his coin purse, he'll offer to buy you drinks if you meet him in his old room in the evenings. He won't show up unless you steal his shovel, leaning against the low stone wall nearby. If you take the shovel immediately, then Kust will walk over to it and play out a scene where he wonders who stole it; if you decide to come back and take the shovel later (you can take it at any point in the future), you instead have to be outside at 0900 to see the scene. Getting this scene to play is required for Kust to actually show up at the tavern, and you can check if it has happened by talking to him during the day while he's outside; if he comments about the shovel being stolen, then he'll show up every night. Meet with Zoe in the basement for another skippable scene, and proceed to part 6. Part 6 Spoiler Zoe sends you to collect some reagents for her spell. The first two are fairly straightforward to gather: the Dremora lord's heart is at the ruin that we visited earlier, after escaping from the road bandits in part 4; the lunar nirnroot is in the Eldergleam Sanctuary, which we visited back in part 3. There are also now two more side quests available depending on your choices with Lod and Kust. To summon the Dremora lord, simply stand in the middle of the ruin and use the scroll. There's a little dialog, followed by a fight. If you take enough hits and he's able to strip off enough of your armor, he can start to rape you with his flaming todger. This will result in death very quickly unless you click your mouse buttons to throw him off. Once he's dead, you can take the heart to Zoe. He can be console killed if necessary, but he's easy enough that you can punch him to death at level 1. When you get to the main cavern in the sanctuary, there's a druid standing on the little hill in the center of the area who you can ask about the nirnroot. If you have at least 60 karma, you can offer to trade sex for the information (say that he needs intimacy to understand feelings). Partway through the scene, he will transform into a troll (this changes a number of other scenes later). You can alternatively fight the druid, which results in fighting his troll form as well. This fight is slightly difficult, and both human and the troll forms are immune to console kill. You can also try to persuade him by passing his quiz; the answers are "a wolf", "a river", and "the kurolisk". No matter how you get the location from the druid, you have to jump in the water and stand under the waterfall to enter the lunar nirnroot cave. When you get to the end, your character will stop and think about seeing the nirnroot in the distance. If you're wearing body armor or clothes, any boots, or any gloves, a huge wraith will spawn if you move into the large room. This is a hard fight, but you can console kill it. If you simply remove your clothing though, it won't spawn and you can proceed. Once you climb up and take the nirnroot, the cave begins to collapse. Run back out of the cave to escape. Like the timer in Kust's mini game in part 5, this one ticks down in real time and not game time. If you had troll sex earlier and you can't run, even opening your inventory long enough to put on clothes will result in death. With the two reagents in hand, return to Zoe in the basement for yet another skippable scene. She tells you that she needs the Jarl's dreamcatcher, from the Jarl's bedroom. At the moment, you can't even get into the building. Talk to the door guard and ask him about joining the city guards (the other options go nowhere currently). When you enter the barracks, go straight through and down the stairs into the dungeon. Talk to the captain and tell him that you can prove yourself. He tells you to capture or kill whoever is murdering his men on the road east of town. When you return to the barracks and reach the top of the stairs, there's a conversation between two Imperial legionnaires about the murders. If you listen to their conversation, you can follow the officer outside and try to get him to let you come along. He wants payment for bringing you, but if you have at least 60 karma you can offer to have sex with him in lieu of the half he demands upfront. If you then meet him in the Dead Man's, there's a sex scene. If you stole Kust's shovel earlier, he will see you and his side quest will become permanently unavailable (just don't steal the shovel yet to prevent this). After some cowgirl (with different dialog depending on troll sex), you have a few options to stop or continue. You can stop, say you'll stay just a little longer to get a short scene from Narri's perspective, or say you'll stay for more money. You can also unlock a super-secret achievement by saying you need to think, then demanding money and saying you need to think, then saying you need to think again. If you choose to stay for the additional money, the scene continues until the morning, when the private comes in; how your character finishes this scene depends on your karma, with a slightly longer scene at 90 or above. If you travel with the two Imperials, before too long they'll stop and have an argument about whether or not it's safe to be out on the road. They happen to do this at the ruined tower where the murderer is hiding, and unless you somehow kill her before she can kill them or knock you out, they both die. The only way to do this without console commands is to be extremely powerful and use a bunch of dragon shouts to slow down time and close the distance to her so you can knock her out. Via the console, you can just "prid XX06F2E7" "moveto player" and punch her in the face. See the FAQ for more specifics about fighting the Phantom. If you do successfully kill her (not return her to the prison, because then the two Imperials despawn), be sure to bring along a bladed weapon of some sort so you can actually cut off her head. If both Imperials survive past the tower, you can continue up the road with the lads through Helgen and into the foothills of the Throat of the World, until they make camp. At this point, if you have at least 30 karma, you can agree to have sex with the officer to stay warm in the snow. Side note: there are three different levels of karma noted in the mod globals related to this camp scene, but as far as I can tell only the one at 30 is used for anything. Regardless of your choices here, the two Imperials die fighting the Stormcloaks. If you get knocked out by the murderer along the way, you wake up back in the basement and Zoe gives you some exposition about an ancient order of assassins called the Phantoms. She gives you a few scrolls that slow down time and sends you back out to capture the Phantom and bring her back to Zoe. If you manage to land a hit on the Phantom at any point, you can talk to her to get the option of where to take her, or just keep beating her to death to take her head instead. Bringing the Phantom back to Zoe results in a short scene, then you have to wait or somehow pass 12 game hours, then you return and get an amulet of invisibility. You can then either release the killer or take her to the guards. Bringing the killer to the dungeon, or bringing them her head, both result in you officially becoming a member of the guards. Wait or pass 12 game hours and you can return for your paperwork and uniform. Curiously this is just, like, some club membership, and doesn't involve actually doing any guard stuff. You can now enter the Jarl's longhouse, either by showing your guard credentials to the doorman, or by equipping the invisibility amulet and sneaking in. Nothing happens in here unless there's a party, but fortunately one starts every night at 20:00. Once the party starts, you need to get past the man guarding the Jarl's bedroom. This can be accomplished by putting on the amulet and simply sneaking past him, or you can talk to the table dancer and get her to distract him. For a little money, she can be asked to take him upstairs and give him a blowjob, which effectively gets him out of the way. For more money and with at least 47 karma, she can be convinced to get DPed by the two guys watching her, which will make the guard jealous. This jealousy can then be manipulated, with at least 29 karma, to convince him to let you into the bedroom. With at least 80 karma, you can actually go through with it, resulting in another mini game sex scene. Side note: there's another karma requirement in the mod globals related to the Jarl's house (bd_req_Falkreath_JH_3someTable = 100), but there doesn't appear to be any related scene. By whatever method, once you're in the room you place the teleportation stone on a small table on the right side of the room. This provides you with a method of both ingress and egress. If you snuck into the room, you can simply take the dreamcatcher from above the bed and teleport out. If you have to return to the room, and you do it between about 01:00 and 06:00, you teleport into the Jarl having a threesome; trying to steal the dreamcatcher during this results in one of two bad ends, depending on whether or not you escape. Once you successfully steal the dreamcatcher and return it to Zoe, the final battle begins. Part 7 Spoiler With Zoe's apotheosis thwarted, you now need to get to Solitude. Just outside the gate, sitting on a stump, there's a carriage driver who will offer to take you, but he wants 400 gold for the trip. If you have the guard credentials from Part 6, you can abuse them to get the price all the way down to 50. If you don't or can't make use of your status as a guard, you can pay the full amount or you can ask for a discount, which will result in him offering one in exchange for sex. With high enough karma, you can get it down to 200 this way. If you agreed to his sex proposal, just outside of town he'll stop the wagon and try to initiate the scene. You can threaten him or say you'll back out of the deal to cancel the sex and proceed normally, or you can agree. The scene changes depending on your karma level and whether or not you've ever done anal. If you don't agree to his sex proposal but you have high karma, you have the option of masturbating when he falls asleep. Slightly farther down the road, the wagon stops at the base of a hill, and you have to get out and push. This occurs no matter how you get to this point, but if you took the sex route the dialog will be slightly different. At the top of the hill, if the sex will begin again if it's already started. Finally, near the end of the journey, there will be a short minigame if you opted for sex. This minigame is extremely hard (I've never beaten it), and failure results in you getting fucked all the way through Rorikstead, with the entire village watching. From Rorikstead, Solitude is just a few minutes up the road. Once you arrive at the gates to the city, you'll notice a crowd gathered. The city is closed, and the guards won't let anyone in. If you talk to Viggi the cheesemonger right next to the gate, he will tell you that there's a back entrance to the city, down near the docks. The two young nords sitting by the campfire are aspiring bards, and if you chat with them a bit you can get them to play music for you, so you can help them decide which of them plays better. Whichever one or both you choose, you can opt to "reward" with a quick kiss. At the local stable, there's a white-and-brown painted horse that you can interact with, and once you have you can then chat with the stablemaster about it, but nothing important happens. If you head down to the back entrance (it's just across the bridge that spans the harbor) you will see a short scene with a spice merchant and Ikol, the guard. Talking to Ikol will tell you that you can gain entry to the city by talking with the dockmaster down in the port, and will also let you know that Ikol is willing to pay you for sex. You can exploit Ikol's proclivities to sneak the two bards into the city, if you have at least 90 karma and return to them. This results in a fairly easy minigame: just make sure you signal them to stop while they're still behind Ikol, and before either bar fills up, then slow down and wait until the pink bar empties before speeding up and giving the signal again. Head down to the docks proper, and you can find the dockmaster either standing around in front of Vittoria Vici's little shop, or sleeping in a loft above it. The dockmaster will explain that the East Empire Company has been having problems with some local pirates, and will likely sponsor you if you can put a stop to the problem. Right next to the shop, there's a pile of boxes that the porter is moving into the city one-at-a-time. If you climb into one, you will shortly get to a minigame where you have to keep from sneezing by keeping the slider from hitting either end of the bar: simply mash A and D when it gets close to the sides to change its direction. If you fail, you lose this path into the city and will have to deal with the pirates, but if you win you end up in the city. If you successfully sneak into the city in the box, you can use any of the dialog options to get rid of the porter, but offering to pay him and then stripping (with at least 39 karma) will give you the option to either have sex with him outside, agree to meet him later, or (with at least 160 karma) both. In order to get the extended version of the scene, you need to have him accept your offer of collateral on the fourth dialog, meaning that you need to make an offer that he refuses at least one time. He will accept any offer of gold above about 50 pieces, and any offer of goods with a total value above about 500. If you choose to or are forced to deal with the pirates, the marine at the end of the pier will give you more information about where to find them and what you need to bring back for the bounty (he wants the leader's helmet). The pirates' camp is on the other side of the river, on the far side of the stone arch. Once you get close to it, your character will stop and think about what to do. If you proceed into the camp, you will enter dialog with Haki, the leader. With high speechcraft you can convince him to just give you the helmet, and otherwise you have the options to try to join them or just kill them. If you try to join them, claiming to be an archer means you have to make three shots in a row with a bow or be killed, and fighting Ilva puts you into a fistfight which is quite difficult at low level. If you succeed in beating Ilva, your reward is getting raped by Haki. Once you're a pirate, you can steal the helmet by asking Haki if you can try it on and then running away, or you can explain that the bounty is for the helmet and Haki will give it to you. No matter how you get the helmet back to the marine, he notifies the dockmaster, who gives you a writ of passage and 1000 gold. With the writ, return to Viggi and he will enter the city, but you will have to either pay an additional fee or find another way in. Part 8 Spoiler Now that you've made it inside Solitude, you're once again asking the locals for information about the thief. If you ask at least three people, then wait a few hours, you'll be arrested by the guards and taken to the dungeon. If you sneaked into the city in the box and agreed to meet with the porter in Madam Petit's, you can be arrested mid-coitus if you have asked at least one person about the Thief beforehand. This path will result in you being taken to the dungeon in the nude. The sex scene with the porter is detailed in the side quests section below. Once in the dungeon, you will be tied to a cross and interrogated by Captain Vala. If you resist, you will be whipped until you submit. If you spit in Vala's face during the interrogation, when she leaves she'll either have the inquisitor continue to whip you, or have all the guards rape you, depending on if you were arrested in Madam Petit's or not. Eventually, you'll be brought into Vala's office, where she'll put a bag over your head and lead you to the Blue Palace to meet with Queen Elisif. After some dialog, Elisif offers to let you stay in one of the guest chambers. If you agree, you'll be led into a stately bedroom with a bathtub. Once you get undressed and get a fire going, you can get into the bath. With enough karma, you will have the option to start masturbating, but either way Wooster the valet will enter shortly and interrupt you. He offers to leave a man to entertain you for the night. If you agree, you will have sex for the rest of the night, otherwise you will simply go to sleep after the bath and a meal. In the morning, Wooster comes in again to lead you out of the palace. Depending on your previous choice and your level of karma, this scene varies quite a bit. Once you get dressed, he leads you outside. After being led outside, either in the night or the morning, you need to return to Vala's office to get brought up to speed on the investigation and retrieve your things. Vala tells you to find a way into the Skunkway, a rumored criminal haven in the sewer system. Head into the manhole cover nearest the front gate, right next to Radiant Raiment, to find a guard who will greet you. If you have at least 120 karma, and are nude, you can have sex with him before he wanders into the sewers. No matter what you say to him, you need to walk deeper into the sewers to continue. You appear back at the bonfire, having gotten lost, and decide to return to Vala. Once you return to the dungeon, Vala tells you that she's caught a cutpurse who may have information. The man tells you about Charon, the only man who knows the way to the Skunkway, and Vala sends you to investigate. Return to the bonfire in the sewer and light the torches on the walls to summon Charon. When he appears, he tells you that he will only accept a toll of a special coin called a Dibellan. When you return to Vala once again to report, she tells you a little about the coin and sends you to Radiant Raiment to talk to a jeweler named D'Biers. The jeweler can be convinced to tell you that both Madam Petit and Gro-Yagak the orc have Dibellans, or he's willing to trade you his own copy for a coin owned by a shady merchant named Varg the Fixer. To break into Varg's house, you can climb some hanging moss behind his house, right next to the courtyard of the Blue Palace. You can then peek into the windows to try to discover Varg's schedule, or you can climb through one of the windows to get inside. If you get caught inside, either by going in at the wrong time or by tripping the trap in the vault, Varg will rape you all night before letting you go in the morning. If you get caught a second time, there's a bad end scene where he sells you into slavery in High Rock. If you fight after being caught and kill Varg and his guards, and subsequently trip the trap, there's a different bad end scene that plays. In order to break into Varg's house safely, you need to know when the house is empty. You can learn this either by watching him yourself, or by enlisting help. If you helped the two bards sneak into the city earlier, you can convince them to watch Varg's house for you. If you helped the cheesemonger enter the city, you can convince him to keep an eye out for Varg in the market. After 24 in-game hours, the bards and/or the cheesemonger will be able to tell you Varg's schedule. The cheesemonger's scenarios (currently exclusive to $10+ Patrons) are detailed in the side quests section below, as is the bards' reward scenario. If you manage to steal the coin from Varg's vault, you can return it to the jeweler for the Dibellan plus some additional money (up to 1000). The urn in Varg's vault has no use other than to sell it to a vendor. If you'd prefer to get a Dibellan from Madam Petit, you have a few options. You can steal it from her safe directly by pick-pocketing the key from her when she sits by the fire in the evenings. You can also enlist Kili to steal it for you, but you'll first need to talk to Petit about it to be able to convince Kili. Madam Petit is willing to give it to you if you help her "convince" Kili to work as an escort. To accomplish this, you're supposed to lead Kili to the alley by the tavern at night, where two guys will rape her. If you tell Kili about this plot, she'll agree to help you steal the coin and you lose the ability to lead her to the rapists. You need to leave Madam Petit's place and wait for a while, but Kili will eventually steal the coin and give it to you in exchange for 1000 gold. If you go with Petit's plan, you can lead Kili outside any night after 20:00. If you tell her you're going on ahead, you can meet the rapists alone. This gives you the opportunity to try to convince them to lie to Petit, either by paying them 400+ gold or by beating them in a fight. On the first visit, your only options are to pay exactly 400, fight, or leave. If you pay them off they'll ask you to have a drink with them, and if you take the drink you'll wake up in the morning being raped by a stableboy. If you fight them and lose, they rape you all night. Once you've been raped the first time, things change on all subsequent nights. If you return on another night after being raped, your options are to fight again or talk. Talking results in a haggling minigame during a sex scene. You get two chances to offer 400 gold or more, but either way you spend the night getting raped in the alley. If you make an offer they like, you also have the option of returning another night to have sex with them again. So long as you never actually pay them 400 or more, you can continue to return every night for another 20 karma if you want to. If you bring Kili to the rapists, you have to convince her to drink with them, and they will then spend all night raping her. The dialog changes slightly if you've met with them or been raped by them before, and if you were raped and have high karma at the end of the scene they'll force you to like them clean. In the morning, Kili is despondent and refuses to move. Go talk to Petit to get the coin, and when you get back outside you'll notice a crowd gathered where Kili is preparing to jump off the wall to her death. Use the stairs in the little tower to the left to get on the wall walk, and you'll start a conversation where you try to calm Kili down. You can either give her the money to escape the city, or you can convince her to work for Petit. If she stays in the city, she will eventually become an escort, but not until a later version of the mod is released. To get a Dibellan from Gro-Yagak, first find him at his table in the corner and ask him about the coin. He will tell you that you have to bankrupt three other players before he'll play with you. In order to start dicing, first you need to talk to Romero the gamesman by the table and get him to teach you the rules, which you can do either by paying him 50 gold or having sex with him. He can also be convinced to give you some tips about playing better once you've learned to play. There are four men you can play dice with, one of whom proposes to bet his gold against your body. If you lose against him three times, you're forced to go through with the bet or you can no longer play dice. This scene includes two secrets. First, if you currently have the "butthurt" condition, which you get from having too much rough anal sex or putting things in your butt, some of the dialog will be different. Second, if you don't press any buttons for about a minute, the scene continues long enough that a patron comes to use the toilets and ends up getting urine on you. Once you have reduced three of the other players to 0 gold each, you can play against Gro-Yagak. Once you've won all of Gro-Yagak's 1000 gold from him, he will give you his Dibellan. You can give him back the 1000 gold and he will be happy, and if you ask him what "boom-boom" is you can unlock a secret scene. By any method of obtaining your Dibellan, you can return to Vala for some more dialog, or simply return to the sewers and finally make your way to the Skunkway. After Charon leads you there, he disappears again. You're left with nowhere to go except to knock on the door. If you knock enough times, the door guard will eventually offer to let you in if you blow him, but if you do the door remains closed. This is where the mod ends until the next major patch. Part 9 Spoiler Coming in v0.10.0 Side Quests Spoiler If you have at least 60 karma, you can agree to become Liorel's sex trainer at any point after part 3. For specifics of the mechanics of this quest and how to find all the pages, see the entry in the FAQ section below. If you promised to return to the old man in Whiterun at a later time, you can do that at any point after you escape from the road bandits, as long as you have at least 60 karma. The scene plays out normally, unless you do it after having sex with the troll which results in a longer scene with rougher sex. If you stayed at Lod's house during part 5, you can return and sleep there at any time from part 6 forward. Choosing to sleep until midnight or morning results in Lod coming in and having sex with you. If you sleep until midnight after having sex with the troll results in a fisting scene, and if you get this and then walk outside without any clothes on, you get yet another scene involving a guard. If you spoke with Kust after part 5, gave him back his coin purse, stole his shovel, and saw the scene where he discovers that the shovel is missing, you can meet with him in his previous room in the Dead Man's Drink any night after about 19:00. If you have sex with the Imperial officer and Kust sees it, you will lose access to all of these scenes. With at least 80 karma you can have sex with Kust after the second drink, or with 90 you can skip the drinks entirely. If you failed Kust's game in part 5 and got the scene with the two farmers, and you gave a Blackbriar Reserve to the beggar or sold one to Valga, then the two farmers will make their return during this scene. If you've had three drinks, or if you agree to do it, the farmers finally get their turns after Kust finishes. This scene changes depending on troll sex, and your decision when Narri comes in near the end. If you meet with Kust in the Dead Man's Drink and drink with him but don't start the sex scene, you can go back to Zoe in the basement while still drunk to unlock a lesbian scene with Zoe. If you meet with the porter in Madam Petit's in a context when you won't get arrested, you can convince him to tell you where he hid your things before continuing. If you go to check, you find the barrel empty, and can then return to him to continue. The scene with him lasts through the night, and depending on how long you take in the final minigame, you can make him late for work (nothing currently results from this). If you take long enough, you get a little bonus dialog as he complains what he's going to be late. If you checked the barrel earlier, he tells you where to look to recover some of your collateral, otherwise you lose it all. If you enlist the bards' help to discover Varg's schedule, you have the option of rewarding one of them with sex. You're led to a closet where a short scene plays out (depending on your choice of bard: Ravi engages in cunilingus and Jethro in missionary), and you're eventually discovered by Viarmo. Viarmo threatens to expel the bard, but with at least 100 karma you can convince him to find a less severe punishment in exchange for sex (or you can give him 3000 gold as a bribe). If you engage in sex with Viarmo and you previously had sex with the troll, Viarmo will give you a large buttplug which you can use in other scenes (currently only the one with Romero). Exclusive to $10+ Patrons on Dogma's Patreon: Spoiler If you enlist the Viggi the cheesemonger's help, he will ask you to help him improve his business by posing as a servant during a business meeting to make him look like a wealthy merchant. If you agree, you will eventually be approached by a boy who gives you a letter telling you to come to the Winking Skeever immediately. If you don't show up fast enough, you'll miss the meeting (No idea how long it takes to trigger this, but it's at least more than an entire day based on my testing). When you arrive outside the suite that Viggi rents upstairs, he'll be waiting. Depending on what you're wearing, he may give you some clothes and tell you to put them on. Showing up or becoming naked before you go in leads to two possibilities based on your karma: high enough (above about 100) Viggi will lewdly admire your body, and eventually you can tell him that he'll be too distracted if he doesn't fuck you; at lower karma the camera pans away and he "helps" you get dressed. Once you enter the suite, you stand around for a while as Viggi talks about making cheese. Eventually, Nubia becomes bored and demands that you strip for her, believing you to be a prostitute that Viggi hired to make himself look more legitimate. If you stick around, you'll end up dancing naked in the corner for a bit while more talk of the making of cheese takes place. Nubia grows bored once again, and this time demands that you put on a show by using an empty bottle as a dildo. After yet more talk of cheese, she finally gets too horny and wants to watch her servant fuck you. If you continue to play along, there's a minigame where you try to get her to finish herself off before she gets too demanding. Viggi will call out sex acts for you and the servant to perform, and once you've switch five times she gives up and has the servant rape your ass. If you want the secret achievement for winning the minigame, the best bet is to jump straight to blowjob and wait there until he finishes - if you do this first it's effectively guaranteed that she'll get off before you can swap four more times. You can also ignore the game entirely to jump straight into the sex. Once Nubia is done by whatever means, she and Viggi leave, but not before you have one last chance at a scene. If Viggi agrees to give you to the servant, he keeps fucking you at least until they're gone, and for longer if you fail the very fast and easy minigame that pops up. Once you're finally done with all of this meeting stuff, it's time to go find Viggi; he'll eventually end up back in the market, where you can threaten to murder him in the horrible, horrible ways he deserves. If you choose to go out on a date with him, either after the meeting or otherwise, just go to the little table near his suite any night after 20:00 and let the conversation play out, agreeing to a drink when offered. You'll wake up a little later with him engaged in a position that I'm not certain is mechanically possible, but regardless he claims to have taken some kind of potion that's making him a sex machine. After a while, you get some options: you can just let him fuck you and you'll eventually wake up the next morning, or you can protest and get more choices. If you blow him and don't wake him up at any point, you can sneak out or masturbate. Waking him up or choosing to masturbate both result in more sex, and waking up in the morning. If you're still with him in the morning, after some conversation he'll ask you to do him two more favors: go to the market and pay the guard to keep his goods safe; and go to the apothecary to get a salve to heal his back. The guard thing is straightforward, although you can get a very brief secret scene if you don't pay the guard. The apothecary will either make a weak salve for cash, or a strong one if you bring her the ingredients. As she mentions, all of the things you need can be found readily around Solitude or in the sewers, but you can pay any child in town to bring you a butterfly if you want to. If you return to Viggi with the strong salve, he will soon ask if you want to have sex with him again. If you're naked while you massage him, he'll massage you as well. Staying with him results in another quick scene, and if you then go to the market and talk with him and you didn't pay the guard, he will ask you about his stolen cheese and you can "remind" him about something, which results in the aforementioned brief scene. You can continue to meet with him in the evenings, but there are no scenes. If you agree to work as an escort for Madam Petit, there are some really brief scenes that you can get, but the explanation that Petit gives you during the orientation is good enough that it's not worth repeating here. If you do this a lot, you can ask Petit for larger and larger percentages of the pay, all the way up to 50% if you're so inclined. You can also take part in a threesome with the pair that are doing it on one of the beds if you just stand nearby and watch them long enough. I've updated all of the karma requirements/changes to reflect the latest version. FAQ/Common Issues Spoiler Understanding the Karma/Lust system Spoiler The "karma" variable in the main quest script (actually named Lust_var in the script text) controls which options are available to you at various points in the story. You can check your karma score at any time by opening the console [`], and entering "sqv bd_mq" (short for show quest variables, and bd_mq is the editor ID of the main quest). This will dump all of the variables and active references into the console, and you can use pgup/pgdn to scroll up and down through the list until you see the one marked ::Lust_var. You may also be able to directly modify the value via the command "setpqv bd_mq Lust_var X" where X is the value you want to set it to. The only choices that impact the karma score are the ones that you're asked to make when you use the skip function to jump ahead in the mod. These are usually big things, like how you resolve major challenges, but in a few cases are more minor, like how much you choose to pay the beggars. As noted in my last post, it's not always the case that if a choice appears in the skip function that it has an impact on karma, but the case of the Whiterun beggar is almost certainly a bug. If you want a complete list and the amount of change you experience from each choice, open the mod in TES5Edit and expand the globals. Every variable with an editor ID beginning with "bd_kar_" corresponds to an individual choice. So, for instance, the values of bd_kar_HotSprings_lose1, _lose2, and _lose3 are 5, 3, and 5 respectively. This means that losing the first time (stripping) gets +5 karma, losing the second time (getting fingered) gets +3 more for a total of +8, and losing the third time gets +5 more for a total of +13. The presence of the variables bd_kar_Riften_bar_stay (1) and bd_kar_Riften_Captain_Bunkhouse_Lose (10) leads me to believe that you get +1 for meeting Stanius upstairs, and another +10 if you fail the minigame. If you want a complete list of which values are required to unlock each choice, open the mod in TES5Edit and check the other globals. Most of them have EDIDs beginning with "bd_req_" but that's not always the case. For instance, if you wanted to know how high your karma needs to be before you can agree to become Liorel's sex therapist, you can just check the value of the variable hp_req_Liorel_Accept_Training and see that you need at least 60 karma. Liorel's Book Pages/Training Spoiler Liorel will pay you for bringing him any "Torn Page" items that you find during the quest. He will pay you between 50 and 400 gold for them, and then walk over to the lectern and pin them up on the board. They are: Spoiler Face-fucking, which you receive if you agree to blow Captain Stanius in Riften. The 69, which you can't actually acquire, and will only be available if you 69 him during his portion of the quest in part 2. Standard blowjob, which you receive if you agree to blow the boy in the hot springs. Doggy style, which you receive if you have sex with the old man in Whiterun at any point. Standing reverse, which you receive if you have sex with Lod in the forge. Rough anal doggy, which you receive if you lose Kust's candle game. Troll beastiality, which you receive if you have sex with the druid. Cowgirl, which you receive if you have sex with the Imperial officer. Doggy style on the bed, which you receive if you have sex with the door guard to get access to the Jarl's bedroom. Missionary on a table, which you receive if you help the bards get into Solitude. Standing missionary, which you receive if you have sex with Cooli the porter in the alley. Choking rape, which you receive if you get raped by Haki the pirate. Standing doggy, which you receive if you have sex with Viarmo in the college. Face-down anal, which you receive if you have sex with the gambler in the toilets. If you have at least 60 karma, you can agree to practice the positions from the pages you have sold him. In order to practice each position with him, you first have to agree on a price that he will pay you for each practice session. He will offer you an initial price, and you have the option of either accepting it, or haggling. For example, if you ask him about a blowjob, he will initially offer to pay you 15 gold for each blowjob. A messagebox interface pops up, showing his initial price, your current demanded price, and the % chance that he will accept that price. The chance of him agreeing to his suggested price is always 100%. You can increase the amount you demand for any act up to the point that the odds of him agreeing to the price is 35%, but you will get an error message if you try to go higher. If he agrees, you can now perform the act with him, and if not the interface will re-open and you get to haggle again, although with reduced odds of acceptance. Once you've agreed on a price and you start the scene, you will get a small minigame which allows you to switch between positions. Once the bar fills, the scene ends. He will then walk over to the table by the lectern and place a bag of coins there for you, which you have to pick up before you can try another scene. I recommend that you "haggle" him down to 0 if you're not looking for the easy money. Retrieving the bag of coins after each scene is usually more trouble than it's worth. If you're looking for the highest money value, rougher is better; his initial offer is up to 75 for the roughest acts, which you can haggle up to well over a hundred. There are a few hidden scenes in this training. Spoiler If you do 69 after having vaginal sex, you get a scene where he refuses and you instead do a blowjob. If you have the "vagina gape" condition from the troll sex and you have the buttplug from Viarmo, there are a few versions of the practice where the buttplug is used, depending on if you also have the "butthurt" condition and/or choose to use the buttplug or not after using it the first time. If you returned to the old man with the "vagina gape" condition and got fisted and fucked anally, you can get Liorel to fist you if you repeat the act and do vaginal. Common mod conflicts Spoiler Any follower mod that changes the number of allowed followers to more than one human and one animal. Any mod that modifies beds or sleeping Any mod that modifies any of the interior or exterior cells used by the mod, potentially Any combat mod has the potential to break the scripted fights Zaz Animation Pack 8.0+ A Forsworn Story Interesting NPCs More Nasty Critters v11+ SexLab Inflation Framework Northern Bathouses Solitude Docks District Nernies City and Village Expansion Characters have the wrong dialog/game crashes or freezes/scenes or animations have errors or hangups/other issues Spoiler If you have any issues with the mod, first make sure that you have the latest version of the base mod files installed. If you played on an older version of the mod, make sure that you remove it entirely from your installation before you install the latest version. This includes tracking down any scripts or animations that you may have unpacked from the .bsa archive and deleting them. You cannot load saves from older versions of the mod with newer versions. If you upgrade to a new version, you have to either load a save file from before you installed any version of the mod, or start a new game. Before you try any of the other solutions listed below, or post about a new issue that you're having, make sure that you have done all of these things correctly. Crashing in Riften Jail Spoiler The Riften Jail has a tendency to cause CTDs if you enter via the front door. Some people have had better luck entering the Jail through the sewer escape route, or by getting arrested and getting taken to jail by the guards. Others report that clearing the drunkenness effect, by letting it time out or sleeping/waiting about twelve hours, helps. Dogma has suspicions that the issue may be related to the modified navmesh in that cell, and plans to try to address the problem in a future patch, but it appears that it may just be an issue with how the guards are loaded by the game when the cell is entered. Missing animation warnings in FNIS Spoiler Just ignore it. The mod still works fine. Unpacking the .bsa file is a bad idea, and may cause issues down the road. The Stranger won't approach me in The Bee and Barb Spoiler The mod requires that you have no followers, and be holding about 200 gold, before he will approach you. Some people have had conflicts with follower mods that preventing the approach. It may be possible to fix this by running the console command "set playerfollowercount to 0", or giving yourself some gold via "player.additem f 500" before you enter the tavern. If neither of these work the only solution may be to turn off all of your follower mods and perform a clean save, or even start a new game without the follower mods running. Nothing happens when I sit with the Stranger in The Bee and Barb Spoiler Sit in the chair opposite the Stranger Open your console Click on the Stranger and note his baseID value, which is XX012636 Whatever the XX values are, enter the command startscene XX01263b Close the console The scene should proceed as normal from here. Removing the drunkenness effect Spoiler The blurry effect from being drunk can be removed by simply sleeping or waiting for about twelve hours. Kust doesn't appear in the Dead Man's Drink in the evenings Spoiler Make sure that you've had the little scene where Kust discovers that the shovel is gone. If you took the shovel right after talking to him, it should trigger whether you stay to see it or not, but if his only dialog is complaining about being busy, then you haven't had it yet. If you take it at any other time or it otherwise didn't work, just wait around by the little stone fence around 0900 in the morning and you should get it when he wakes up in the morning. The horse chase/ambush doesn't work Spoiler If you're having issues with the horses and other animals being frozen, this is a common issue with creature anims in FNIS. Simply open up FNIS and click on the "De-Install Creatures" button. Wait for it to finish, then run the "Update FNIS Behavior" again, and it should be fixed. If your game is consistently freezing during the chase, this seems to be an issue with the mod "A Forsworn Story". If you're having issues with the bandits on the road not interacting with you after they shoot you off the horse, it's usually the result of a mod conflict. Try turning off some other mods, starting with any follower mods. When using the fire in the bandit camp to burn off the rope tying your wrists, nothing happens Spoiler Open your console Click on the chest and note its refID value, which is XX029a0c Whatever the XX values are, enter the command startscene XX027E7A Close the console The scene should play as normal. Anims/scenes not playing or freezing Spoiler If your character adopts a T-pose at any point, it's almost always the result of not running FNIS properly. Quit the game and run the "Update FNIS Behavior" function a few times, then try again. If you're not getting any errors in FNIS, like exceeding the animation count limit, and you're still seeing T-poses, then it has to be an issue with the .bsa archive; re-download the mod and reinstall. If you have animations out of alignment or scenes that get stuck, freeze, or cause crashes, it's usually either a one-off failure or old files from a previous version of the mod. If you've ever unpacked any of the animation, behavior, or script files from the .bsa archive, you'll have to hunt them down and delete them manually. If you haven't ever unpacked those files but you're still getting these kinds of issues, try re-downloading the mod and replacing the .bsa file. If that still doesn't work, it's probably a mod conflict. Waiting or sleeping in Riften crashes the game Spoiler This seems to be another intermittent issue with Riften. If it's consistently happening to you, the best solution seems to be not trying to wait or sleep in Riften. You can also try the solution offered in this post. The game freezes on a black screen Spoiler Try toggling the black screen option in the MCM. If it still freezes, check the other listed freezing/crashing issues. Potions, ingredients, or other items are disappearing from my inventory Spoiler This appears to be an issue of a quest script going haywire and just removing things from your inventory as fast as possible. You may be able to fix it by loading up an older save before the script bugs out. If that doesn't work, see the solutions offered in this post and this post. How can I view the source of the scripts? Spoiler Dogma hasn't released the source and likely won't, but if you're really determined you can use tools to decompile the .pex files. There are over a thousand of them. Have fun. The game is freezing/crashing during scenes, or the scenes get stuck Spoiler If it's not one of the specific issues or mod conflicts already mentioned, a possible culprit is that your computer is having trouble keeping up with all of the scripts in the mod. The mod's scripts rely heavily on semi-precise timing of events, animations, and dialog, and as a result if the scripting engine in the game can't keep it all synchronized, it's possible for race conditions or deadlocks to occur. If you're running other script-heavy mods, try turning them off. Another possible cause of random crashes or freezes is that you've exceeded the animation limit on FNIS. If you need, download the XXL version to extend the limit. Trouble fighting the atronach/dremora lord/druid/nirnroot guardian/final boss Spoiler The flame atronach is a regular fight with a level seven enemy. You should be able to beat it just by hitting it with some frost magic or a decent weapon and chugging healing potions. The nirnroot guardian is a level 20+ wraith, and hits quite hard. It's best to avoid this fight entirely, since there's no reward for doing it: just remove all of your armor and clothing before entering the room, and it won't spawn. The fights with the Dremora lord, the druid, and the final boss are all heavily scripted. Both you and the enemy have god mode on (so trying to turn it on will result in your immediate death, since you just turned it off), which means that all of the hits you take and deal are instead scripted to remove a fraction of maximum health based on weapon damage and speed. Your best bet is to bring a lot of potions or other healing, and either dual-wield or use a big two-hander and just swing for the fences. If all else fails, the Dremora lord, nirnroot guardian, and atronach can all be beaten instantly by using the console kill command. The Zoe fight has been broken since about v0.9.0 and she is only visible for about a second at a time. The fight is heavily scripted, and it's possible to force it to advance to the point that it ends. To accomplish this, once the fight has started outside, you can enter the following commands in the console one-at-a-time to advance to the next stage of the fight. setpqv bd_sq_ghost zoefightstate 1 => "Let's see how you deal with this!" setpqv bd_sq_ghost zoefightstate 2 => "That was just a warm-up!" setpqv bd_sq_ghost zoefightstate 3 => "What do you say to this?" setpqv bd_sq_ghost zoefightstate 4 => "You're starting to make me angry!" setpqv bd_sq_ghost zoefightstate 5 => "Let's see you survive this!" setpqv bd_sq_ghost zoefightstate 6 => "That's it, I'm done playing with you!" setpqv bd_sq_ghost zoefightstate 7 => "How!? How could you defeat me!? ..." You need to close the console after entering each command and wait for Zoe to finish saying the corresponding dialog. If you don't get the dialog after 10-15 seconds, just proceed to the next command. After you enter the last command, Zoe will die. Trouble fighting the Phantom Spoiler If you can get into melee range of the Phantom, one hit of any kind will knock her out and allow you to interact with her to continue the quest. The most effective way of doing this is by setting the scrolls that Zoe provides you with to one hand, and your fist in the other. Once you can see the tower from the road, cast your scroll and keep refreshing the effect when it fades, then sprint up the hill and punch her lights out. If all else fails, open the console and type "help phantom" and note the formID that it returns, should be XX06F2E6 where XX is any hex value. Now type "prid XX06F2E7" and "moveto player" and punch the bitch in her invisible face. This is pretty much the only possible way to access the super-secret scene with the Imperial officer. The waiting time for the investigation is too long Spoiler He did say it'd take weeks... It's best to use the skip option that you're presented with when you leave the jail for the first time after reporting the robbery. The memory scene in Riften is inaccessible Spoiler You can add a Memory Potion to your inventory via the console command "player.additem XX0D9413 1" - if you drink it then return to the bed in Haelga's Bunkhouse, you should get the option to remember what happened. This may only be accessible if you stayed for a second drink at the very beginning, and/or you were still drunk when you met with Stanius the first time. If all else fails, you can force the conditions by running the console command "setstage hp_mem 10" and then go through the usual drinking the potion near the bed. Liorel is too tired for more sex, forever Spoiler This bug should be fixed in the latest version, but for posterity, the console command is "setpqv hp_liorel elf_mojo 4" I don't get thrown out of the New Gnisis and Liorel doesn't appear Spoiler Enter the Gnisis Corner Club Open your console Run the command help liorel and note his baseID value, which is XX0014d51 Whatever the XX values are, enter the command startscene XX014d3e Close the console That should play the scene where you get kicked out, and afterward Liorel should show up correctly. If he doesn't, you can use the command "XX014d52.moveto player" to move him to your location. There's no door guard outside of the Jarl's longhouse in Falkreath Spoiler Haven't seen this bug in a while, but if he's missing then run "startquest hp_FalkreathJarlHouseQuest" in the console. If that doesn't work, then this post has more possible solutions. Madam Petit's has disappeared, leaving an empty void in the wall Spoiler You have attempted to play a save from v0.9.0 after upgrading to v0.9.1 rather than loading or creating a clean save and starting the mod over, which every installation guide in existence says is necessary. You need to load or create a clean save and start the mod over; use the skip option to return to the start of v0.9.X and continue from there. Zoe can't be found after being directed to find her for the first time, or she will only say that she's on a break Spoiler You are running v0.9.1 and failed to install the "fix1" patch, as directed by the install guide above. You need to install the patch and then load a save from before you entered Falkreath. Changelog Spoiler v0.7.2 - 12 Nov, 2016 Spoiler The first part of the Falkreath portion of the quest has been added. See the walkthrough section for details. v0.8.0 - 26 Aug, 2017 Spoiler The Falkreath portion of the quest is complete. This includes 9 new scenes. See the walkthrough section for details. v0.8.1 - 3rd Sep, 2017 Spoiler Small patch. It's now possible to skip most of the dialog-only scenes in the mod. The hotkey to skip a scene can be set in the MCM menu. Some required textures are now included in the .bsa, and the horse race's "easy mode" has been fixed. v0.8.2 - 3rd Feb, 2018 Spoiler There's a new setting in the MCM menu that lets you pick your character's breast size among small, medium, and large. There are a number of places where this is referenced, but it doesn't have any story impact as of yet. There are 661 new lines of dialog. The majority of these are found in Riften and Windhelm, but almost every scene has been updated in some way. You're extremely unlikely to notice the changes unless you do a direct comparison between them, but trust me, there are a lot of changes. There are a few scenes that employ new camera angles to tell their stories. Lose to Kust for the best example of this. Voiced lines! The player now has about 180 lines of spoken dialog. Out of 4800 total, it doesn't seem like a lot, but she's got something to say in every scene and a few places in between. It's all in Russian, though. The horse race has been updated. It should no longer be possible to fail unless you do it intentionally. The escape from the collapsing cave has been updated so you have more time. This is necessary because of another new feature: when you're drunk or recently suffered particularly rough sex, your movement speed is reduced and you can't sprint. It should still be possible to escape the cave under these conditions. The mod's handling of the SoS body and genitalia has been updated to be more flexible. The default settings match those of the previous version. A few of the deprecated features have been removed. Most notably, the orgasm effect shader seems to be gone. In Riften, the encounter with Captain Stanius has had a major overhaul. Most notably, you can now convince him to complete the investigation first, before performing a "favor". This leads to a new set of scenes in Haelga's Bunkhouse, in which you play a minigame to either pass out drunk or make the captain pass out drunk. Either way results in the quest continuing the following morning. Alternatively, you can steal the case report from the safe while Stanius is out of the office, but if he sees you touching the safe too many times he stabs you to death and the quest is failed. For the Patreon supporters, if you fail the minigame in the bunkhouse and go back to talk to Stanius, you receive a potion in your inventory which you can take back to the bunkhouse for a bonus scene. Liorel is missing some pages from that book of his, and he's willing to pay exorbitant sums to get them. He's also looking for someone to help him practice the things that he reads about. Many of these practice sessions constitute new mini-minigames, of a sort. The left-click-slow-down/right-click-speed-up mechanic from the Jarl's bedroom scene makes a reappearance, with most of the scenes having at least three stages to play with. There's also an extra bonus that you get if you offer to 69 under certain conditions. Whether or not you give the kid in the hot springs head is now a choice you make in dialog, if your karma is high enough, rather than a decision made by your character. There's some new stuff you can do with the old man in Whiterun. If you agree to give him a "down payment" by blowing him, you can get into a situation where you have a mouth full of jizz that you need to spit out. If you do it in the washbasin in his room, you unlock a new "bad end" scenario. If you instead do it in the vase at the top of the stairs, things proceed as normal. The dialog in all of the scenes here has been updated quite a bit. The scene with Lod in the forge includes a new animation partway through. v0.9.0.4 - 29th Sep, 2018 Spoiler The story continues. This includes 3227 new lines of dialog and at least 14 new scenes. See the walkthrough section for details. Numerous fixes for minor bugs. The Skip function has been updated to reflect all of the important decisions currently available in the mod all the way through Falkreath. The MCM menu has been updated with some new options, most notably the option to set some of the minigames to an easier difficulty in the Thief submenu. There's also a checkbox that will turn off a pair of new effects that create full-screen overlays, and all of the re-mapping of keybindings has been moved to a new submenu. v0.9.1.2 - 21st Dec, 2018 Spoiler Madam Petit's establishment, and the sidequest to collect her coin, have been added. This includes 736 new lines of dialog and about 5 new scenes. See the walkthrough section for details. v0.9.2.2 - 15th Feb, 2019 Spoiler The date with the Cheesemonger has been added. This includes 862 new lines of dialog and about 7 new scenes. See the walkthrough section for details. v0.10.0.0 - 25th Oct, 2019 Spoiler TBD This section will be updated as new updates come out. I don't care enough to go back and make sections for old versions right now. Minor Issues Spoiler The voiced lines don't force subtitles the way the unvoiced lines do. This means that unless you speak Russian, you're not going to know what your character is screaming about until you turn on your subtitles. The only problem with this is that the NPCs won't shut the fuck up and they end up talking over the important stuff. My "STFU Narri" patch puts a stop to the worst offenders. The guys are still ambivalent about grooming their pubic hair. It literally seems to randomly select a texture to apply to them every time they get naked, so if you repeat the same scene you can see hairy-ass Lod with a smooth dick the first time, and with a thick scrotum jungle the second time. If you offer Liorel a price that he refuses, the game gets stuck sometimes (very rarely) - you should be able to simply use the "Reenable Controls" option in the MCM menu to correct it. Other times, he can refuse an offer that has a 100% success chance. He can also refuse your offer before you even make it, while you're still deciding on a value. None of the guards inside Whiterun can be asked about the thief. The guards outside, by the gate, respond when you ask them about it, but not the ones inside. This is probably an oversight involving not adding them to the bd_WhiterunFindStrangerFaction somewhere in the code, but since it's in the code I can't do anything about it. The "easy" and "normal" difficulty settings for minigame difficulty are reversed. If you're looking for the as-intended experience, you need to set the minigame difficulty to "easy" mode. 47 Link to comment

Install first the base/core folder, then install the English version of the .esp. Then generate FNIS. Link to comment

It was working fine for me, in my 200 active plugin list, so I didn't bother updating to version 0.9.0.4. The versions 0.9.0.2, 0.9.0.1 and 0.9.0 also didn't break my game like that. Keep in mind that Skyrim is a mess, so if you don't already configurated the stability of your game and load order, you should do that before installing the mod. I didn't have any CTD while testing this version. In last case, try to load your game with the minimum amount of mods. Double check the requirements and compatibility mods. Here you can find the 0.9.0.3 version. See if it works better for you. The mod should be complete in the final version when Lord Dogma decides Don't know why you even quoted the word quest as if that helps, somewhat? If the mod is unfinished, then logically so is the quest. But I get it. This mod is a "quest mod" and it has two, AFAIK, main quests called Thief and Solitude. So what quest is it? Link to comment

I'm not really sure why this is happening, V8 worked fine. Link to comment
Gimlord
So i am at the first new mini game of the mod and have the same problem with the others. It is too easy again no matter if i put easy or normal. I started the whole thief quest with the option on normal, still feels like it is on easy. But this time is for sure that the npc's blue bar fills completely but your pc's pink bar wont ever fill completely. Link to comment

No you're not, you're instigating saltiness by being a dick. Because while a single exclusive scene per release is in fact paywalled. It's not 'the creation club all over again'. If you weren't ignorant to the topic of this mod, you would be aware that it was initially created and released like a normal free mod, and then the author couldn't spare time to finish it because of life and work. So he dropped it. It was many of us who really wanted the mod to continue. As it's arguably the best story mod on LL for skryim. So we suggested to the author to setup a patreon where we could support him enough to continue it without negatively impacting his work. Don't walk around rolling your ignorant eyes at things and then get defensive when you push people over the edge. Link to comment

evilryusam
Hey how's everyone doing? I was reading brew's guide for what to do for 0.9, and he mentions to talk to a carriage driver that is just outside the gates, but all i see are two bards and a cheese merchant. Am i doing something wrong? I'd appreciate any input thanks. Link to comment
zenurak
I'm really liking the mod but the camera sucks. Just did the pirate scene and couldn't see a thing. Anyone got any suggestions to improve or is it just waiting for dogma to improve the camera in the patch. Link to comment

The default key is Scroll Lock, so you can adjust in real time the player camera and still see the dialogues. Not ideal, but it helps seeing some scenes. Also, for the carriage scene, I recomend to put the camera the farthest possible from your character just before you accept the ride. The camera during the trip can make your character look invisible. 1 Link to comment
