@Billyy First time posting here, so first off, thank you for the years of incredible work, as someone who only does Skyrim modding for the creature fucking, you are a god among men to me. 

 

That said, i recently noticed an unexpected hole in your animation list: regular chaurus do not have a traditional doggystyle animation. I know the cage doggy anim exists, and the chaurus_behind animation has two scenes that fit the mold but thats it. Do you have any plan to add a more traditional doggy anim with an animobject at any point?

EDIT: I've experimented a bit with the realignment function, and i have bad news: it desyncs actor timing in 80% of cases it is used, so all motions will be out of sync. What does work is using the realign key, then go back to stage one so sexlab reinitializes the scene "some other way", and then you get rid of animobjects, timing will be right, and SL actually does not fuck up finegrained Z-positioning (all actors will be at the exact same altitude every time, so saved offsets actually work right).

 

Problem is, i don't see a 3rd-party mod like SLTools do this juggling right, without some really ugly hackjobs. Instead this is looking like it should be addressed in sexlab itself. Stuck animobjects are known since forever, so the chance of sexlab-dev fixing this is close to zero. Maybe one of the forks will, but those all have their own problems. So in a best case you just trade one bug for a bunch of other bugs.

Yeah, that's pretty much how it be. It can be worked around, but it's pretty annoying working voodoo magic to get things working properly again. Don't even get me started on my annoyance with creatures stage 1 being plagued with the desync forever. My hope is on the spinoffs fixing it, and I guess hopefully having less bugs to make it worth trading over for. Time will tell I guess.

My 'original' creature pack actually has a chaurus doggy that's still decent. Not that I'd recommend installing it, but I was just mentioning that it's existence is why in my memory I had assumed I already did a chaurus doggy animation. However, amusingly I had just noticed that hole in my 'modern' pack as well last month, and have already made another. 'Chaurus Doggy 2' is currently in version 8.5 of my pack, so will be a couple months until released here, but it's in the release scheduler.

Hey, @Billyy! I want to say that you make some pretty awesome animations. It would be cool to see more FFMM human animations... desu! 😜 (unfortunately, not the most common situation in mods ( ,, •̀ ⤙ •́ ,,) ).

I watched the SelfFap animation and got an idea. How about an animation that ends with the male fapping and the female getting ready to receive his load on her face? There might be something like it in another pack but can't remember seeing it. If this is not to your taste I understand if you'd rather do whatever you had planned instead.

Thanks desuyo. Yeah, more FFMM's are on the to-do list, but on the human group front my current focus is trying to support other combos first. Specifically FFFF and FFFFF is kind of overdue. Some more FFFM/FFFFMs probably also a bit more viable. However I did have those FFMM's jump the line because I thought they'd be fun to make, so it's possible they make an earlier return.

Something to that effect has been on my to-do list for a while. Something I'd call like 'Kneeling Facial' or whatever. How exactly it'd play out I'm not totally certain, but it'd likely focus on as you've mentioned, male fapping and female preparing to receive dah load.

I think deer can be another horse imo

Ash Hoppers have one coming up, and is kind of on my radar to get more. Was looking at goat recently to maybe do something with. Rabbit and deer hadn't really crossed my mind, but everything is always kind of on my list of things to do some decade.

🫡 love your SLAL works especially creature animations and subbed since March. 

 

I want to learn some 3D modeling/animation, I think skyrim mod is a good starting point.

I'd like to know what is your work flow to make those skyrim SLAL animations?  any tutorial you recommend?   I tried to look for tutorials but what I found are too old and have links doesn't work anymore. 🫠

I don't know what "WB" is.  Wabbajack?  If so, why would you abbreviate that as WB? 

 

There's nothing "incorrect" about a form 43 plugin in an animation pack.  Saving it as form 44 changes nothing about how the game reads the forms in the plugin because none of the forms are treated differently in SE/AE than in LE.  It's your mod list installer or your mod manager that doesn't understand this and throws a knee jerk warning in your face.  If it creates such a problem for you, you have several options:

  • complain to the author of the mod list installer
  • learn how to disable the warning in your mod manager
  • save the plugin in the SE Creation Kit

 

As for your question why this generates negativity, mod authors were very much against the idea of mod lists precisely because it would encourage people who don't understand these things to install countless mods with little to no knowledge about them - and then complain to mod authors when things don't work.

And every time you add a new mod and you need to re-compile the leveled list, you see this. If there are several outdated plugins, then there will be a larger list. And so every time 😵. That's why I installed СK

Then why not type out "Wrye Bash?"  So much effort.  Two unnecessary posts (three if you feel compelled to respond) because you couldn't be bothered to type that out.  What the hell does a leveled list have to do with an animation pack in your mind?

 

Save the "offending" plugins in the SE Creation Kit and stop bothering mod authors for something that isn't their problem.  It doesn't bother them, it doesn't bother us - it bothers you so it's your problem.
