I don't think we'll see much more of this mod, I think. Voice acting is hard enough to find, and if you recquire female ones at that, it'll be well... fairly fruitless.

 

 

Instead of beeing so negativ, why don't you submit a voicesample yourself? :D

Altough I agree bout the female actors. That wil be pretty hard, I guess.

I actually did record a few samples, but they were too low and then my mic died- and the new one I got is of such shitty quality that it's not sufficient :P

There was no reason to start an entire Topic for that in the other section.

 

 

Just talk to him and see what the questmarker shows you what do do/where to go.

Other then the voice acting is the mod already written and not causing any problems? 

 

Not asking if it's release as I'm assuming that's a no from how I read the thread.

Honestly, everyone thinking I have the next 5 chapters already finished on my PC, replaying them myself all day, seriously misjudges how much time it takes to complete creating one chapter (or half one for that matter). Besides why would I spend hundrets of hours of work to finish the next X chapters and then not release it?

What IS finished is an follow-up scene for one of the paths (well it's not just one scene and it has its own new location, but it is not directly related to the main plot). This will be included in the next release once the main roles voices are all in.

wooooo   cant wait for the next chapter thanks for giving us the  updates  if only i can contribute to you voice acting project i would but the sad thing is i have a terrible voice  :(  :(

It'll be worth the wait.  Yes, less females are available for this, but there are ladies that play and enjoy this stuff too.  A quality mod takes time, everyone just needs to be patient.  A rushed mod won't be any good.  Athstai for one will lose interest if it's not done right and you'd notice the quality overall by the ending.  It's a great mod and it's got a lot of potential.  Just like everyone else I'd love to see what lies ahead, but I can wait.  I'm glad Athstai is sticking to his guns on this and making sure it's done right.

Such a great mod, enjoyed it immensely. Though I don't get why work on voice acting now, when the story isn't finished yet. Would've make more sense to finish all the technical stuff first and then get to the voice acting part, but that's just my opinion.

Only played through the prologue, waiting for chapter one to be finished before I play through that.

 

But Awesome story so far, a very brilliantly thought out little story mod that has incredible potential.  Stick to your guns Athstai.  Do it how you want it done and it will turn out great.

He did all the technical bits for part one, now the remaining part is the voice acting. The author does this the way the author wants to do this. Pressuring the author to do things your way is more likely to lead to him getting angry and giving up. If you want to be helpful try to recruit voice actors for him from among your friends, who knows who would be flattered to have their voice as part of a game?

Also I would gladly help with voice acting and maybe some of my friends would too, but unless you need some voice actor(s) with very strong slavic accent and dirt-cheap sound quality, otherwise my help would be worthless.

Maybe when he's ready to do a Slavic translation you and your friends will get the parts. Yeah, I'd love for it all to be done too but can be patient also. Even if I tire of this game I know it's good enough that I will come back in six months or a year and pick it up again simply because it'll be fresher again by then.

 

I still go back and play some games I bought over a decade ago or longer simply because the game is still worth playing.
