Ixum Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 I started growing a bear just three months ago and I love it. It makes my face seem regal, and it brings me closer to my norwegian ancestors, the vikings. I caress it, I touch it, I revere it. I am going for a very long beard and atm I can feel it tickling my chest. I do have one question tho, and it is driving me crazy - not the question - but... IM TOUCHING IT ALL THE TIME, it drives me crazy, I'm like twirling, twitching... making imaginary braids, it's like Im masturbating my face!Any of you - my bearded friends - have any of these experiences?
myuhinny Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 You started growing a bear? Can I grow a bear too? What do I all need to do it? Seeds fertilizer water?
Ixum Posted January 23, 2017 Author Posted January 23, 2017 You started growing a bear? Can I grow a bear too? What do I all need to do it? Seeds fertilizer water? Now now, you know what I mean. For alt-fact ppl let me just re-fact. I stopped cutting my beard.
Khlas Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 I don't like long-beard. 3-days beard is fine to me. More than one week = cut.
myuhinny Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 I know I was just having fun. During the winter I let it go so the face stays nice and warm while outside while doing things like snow blowing and what not. Once spring hits and it starts to warm up it gets whacked off till fall hits and the it repeats. I'm always touching while doing modding or other things if it doesn't require both hands.
Dredderson Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 I have the same habit, I keep touching it all the time when I'm at my computer. It's actually kind of bad because it makes the beard look scruffy and the hair goes bloody everywhere. In public, I tend to twirl my moustache instead. I see it as a bad habit just like biting nails and stuff, so I force myself to stop whenever I notice that I'm doing it again
LukeDuke Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 I'm cutting my every 4 weeks, can't stand it any longer
Ixum Posted January 24, 2017 Author Posted January 24, 2017 I just saw nice docu on beards and it said beards are healthy. 1. All the hair will keep allergens out, clean the air that goes in. 2. Touching it helps focusing 3. well more stuff... look here
Frozium Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Since my hair is quite curly my beard cannot get too long, but the plus side is that it gets very thick and stroking it is an absolute pleasure.
Trash Metal Barbie Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Post pictuuures, beards are the one <3 men should way have a beard :')
protocolk Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 I cant grow a beard so i rock the classic mustache + goatee 17 century scholar combo (the french explorer one), and I love it always stroking my beard or spinning my mustache, its glorious. real men have facial hair it makes us noble and majestic and give a important person look.

joemonco Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 And in the most shocking twist of all, he's a she. Who else would masturbate their face? laugh that was moderately amusing.

Guest Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 beards are fuckin lame, too trendy. fuck it beards are the john cena of pubes. ill tell you this I love--LOVE! comic book TWD (not that wimpy scrawny old bitch dean morgan) Negan bc he broke that fuckin trope, that only badasses have beards. Kenny Omega too
Cynical Misanthrope Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 When my beard grows out, it's mostly because of laziness. It's like a viscous cycle. I let it grow out until it become a nuisance, and that is when I look like a radical islamist. Then I shave it all off, and the cycle continues. I can't be bothered taking care of it in any way. It's either totally shaved or a complete mess.

So... Run! Run awaaaayy!!! I wish my beard could grow that long Aye, but it ain't the length alone. Just look how bushy and full their beard is, especially below the bottom lip where modern man has always two bald spots. These guys might still closely resemble the looks of our ancestors some 30.000 years ago when the mammoth ruled the plains and the giant cave bear was lord of almost any shelter of interest for man.

I said that because beard thickness is not a problem to me. I only miss length.
Jazzman Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 I said that because beard thickness is not a problem to me. I only miss length. The possible length of a beard is established by the level of the male sexual hormone testosterone. That'd make the guys of ZZ Top fuckers of the millenium, right? Whateva, I got enough black head hair and, of course, eyebrows. The rest turns me into a perfectly naked ape, Hollywood style. So don't worry too much about your lack of testosterone, man. There are things much worse than that. Just keep your beard shorter and perfectly styled. That looks attractive, always.
Blackhearted Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 I shave when it starts getting in my mouth when I eat or my beverage is dripping off my mustache when I take a drink. Other than that I am too lazy to give a shit, unless I'm going to see my cute little lady doctor. Then I will shave and wear nice clean clothes and wash/comb my hair, shine my shoes and all that crap.

Any of you - my bearded friends - have any of these experiences? Yes the constantly "grooming" beard at a certain length is something i've experienced, i've recently had to travel so had to shave it off (as figured looking like my passport would assist with problem free passing of the customs desk) but prior to that i'd notice i'd go into a sort of day dream twirling/stroking it I'm told it gave me the appearance of being deep in thought
Guest Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 I gotta go look up a name, Zach Galifianakis or something. You know, the guy who built a career on being drunk. But before I go look his name up and edit this, Another guy I know looks just like him. Neither is overweight, but they definitely have fat faces. When I was very ill a year ago, all the nurses liked me, but they liked me more after I got well enough to shave. I prolly don't look like you-all though, my beard says "early depression" or "typical-homeless". There's a style I really like, it's when your very dark beard is extremely short, but it looks fantastic because it's so thick. This really could turn into a research project with images from the internet for examples. But nevermind. J Depp:: no. G Clooney: yes. Mike Epps yes Bradley cooper ?? I used to play with my upper lip which had a decent mustache, rub it against my nose, cover my upper-lip with my lower-lip to check for mustache-length. A girl I knew back then had a hard crush on Magnum PI and his mustache. What-the-hells his name..Thomas Magnum? Shit. Selleck!! People like that look good in facial hair. If he ran for president he'd win, against Schwarzenegger, who has no facial hair as far as I know.
