I'd like to get ideas for what I can start as in some future games. For me it's either as a Republic (I like Venice but need to try others), but beyond that I tend to start as the tribal Picts and attempt to take over the whole island. Let me know what you do! I started to play quite a l9t of vanilla, due buggy state of AGOT mod. Here's one of my favourite examples: - Christian Spain regions. It's quite challenge to manage your kingdom, fight off Muslims and also do your pervy stuff. - Iceland Vikings. They're amazing. If you ever survive, you homeland is better than a fortress. Of course if you build up enough defences, fort levels and reform your religion. - Satanistic Venice. Great start to conquer the world. Devil worshippers and republics are unstoppable force. (Of course if SOMEHOW Paradox patched the game... so soul corruption wasn't that common. And heretics weren't that easy to find. In my game, they are hunted down even if they have very small suspicion) - Ireland tribes and their rise to feudalism. Call me noob, if you want, but Ireland is a sweet starting spot with best succession law in entire game.

A rather odd and quite powerful character is leading the Hermetic Society in my game. https://i.imgur.com/nAAZzQs.png https://i.imgur.com/kX3qlXI.png Why did she even appear, actually? Is her presence in-game intended? I disabled the Bastards of Christ, so this is extra weeeird. Can I remove her safely or is something important attached to her in the mod? I saw some other strange characters in Papacy, actually. PigFucker, Miriam... Even the Pope is somehow immortal. I don't understand what is going on, to be honest. Sarah, is one of the first Bastards of Christ so she is supposed to be tied to that society, but I have not yet made that society. I'll look into a way to make sure she doesn't join other societies. Also, setting the Bastards of Christ rule doesn't disable any characters. The rule reads, "Bastards of Christ events will be censored to be less offensive." Right now, removing any of them wont horribly break events. If the Pope is immortal check his mother. if she is Maryiam, that means Jesus is pope and they game renamed him. I had that happen in one of my games and meant to make it so he couldn't be made Pope but either it didn't work or I never got back around to that. (I'll look into that today.) The Shadowy Stranger (of house PigFucker) is part of several different parts of the mod. Most of them have not fully been implemented yet so he usually jsut sits in the background doing nothing but spawning a psudo-clone of himself every 66 years or so. At one point he is supposed to try to take some land in Sicily, but I never got back around to those events. You actually can learn about him and his place in Jewish mythology (in game lore, not real world) in the deep succubus lore, but that is pretty hard to get into (without manually triggering it). He will be part of an organization against the Bastards of Christ and fight against the Yiffic church after it rises. EDIT: Found how to block a society ( set_character_flag = society_join_block ). I'll be adding that to several of the immortal NPCs my mod generates. I'll make sure that makes it into the release of 0.0.4.0. EDIT2: In theory, I have added the flag to all immortal characters my mod adds into the game. EDIT3: Jesus has been made yiffic so he shouldn't end up pope anymore.

You may or may not get to this one scene once the other scene possibilities are in place, but for right now it is the only choice down one of the many possible branches in the whole event chain.

One of the interesting truths™ I have learned in 46½ years circling Sol is that life is a chaotic string of ups and downs (sadly not often enough under the covers) and that the best way to quantify it is to compare the number of good days vs. bad days in a year. Silliness aside, I was able to clean up a lot of broken code last night and am back to working on the previously forgotten section of code I needed to get this ready to go live. As I am in the office today, my time will be somewhat limited so I have no estimate how much I will get done. @Abominus - I am still making large changes to localisation files, in addition to adding vast amounts of new text. I will try to get the structure changes done before uploading 0.0.4.0 so I shouldn't have to further delay your much appreciated translation contributions.

I use the visit brothel frequently whenever I am in a test game. I'll definitely look into it. Are you using 0.0.3.4 or the 2nd preview of 0.0.4.0? EDIT: in my current development version of 0.0.4.0 I have access to both of them as soon as I built the required buildings, so I will assume that with luck things will be fine when I get the release version of 0.0.4.0 live.

Not sure if I'll get a lot more in by release of 0.0.4.0 but watersports especially will become a lot more prominent, with alternate scenes for those who turn the rule to censored. The character will still earn kink points though, even if the player never sees that part of the scene. I have not even looked at compatibility with any of the others, so there may need to be additional tweaks if it is something easily fixable.

(Well, right now it _only_ works for Arabs, but that should be an easy thing to fix.) A trap’s picture elements are now overridden so they appear and dress as a young woman (except they should still use male headgear), even though they are still a man and may even be 90 years old.
NoxBestia Posted September 13, 2017 Author Posted September 13, 2017 UPDATE: Okay, only 4-5 hours worth of sleep for nearly 6 days in a row has caught up with me, so I'm cutting development short of normal(?) by about 2½ - 4½ hours tonight and heading to bed. Before I do that, I wanted to post an update for the day that serves double duty as to remind me what right now I think I need to work on tomorrow. Today's Accomplishments: I actually started up a test game tonight. First one in a few days. A lot of stuff was actually working, which pleased me. It did make me want to come up with a silly system of spreading the trap trait to a lot more characters early in a new game, but that's probably just lack-of-sleep induced silliness talking. Success of the trap feminization idea (example shown in my previous post). I think I have finally finished moving localisation data between the different files and organized it into something that makes sense to me. I also added a lot of new perverted nicknames. More code and error cleanup accomplished and the game doesn't crash on startup anymore (again). Need to remember to test more frequently so it is easier to find what breaks. TODO Before Release: One of the systems I have been working on _finally_ kicked off when I remembered to manually add one of the trait requirement triggers for it to my character. But then it just sort of died. After fixing a reversed logic error, I discovered that both of the two events that were to active the rest of the system are sitting in localisation, but the actual code for either of them has not been written. Which is weird, because I had really though I kicked them off the other day when testing. These two events need to set a pair of flags _or_ one flag and just kick off the event reset script. I'll determine which makes more sense tomorrow. I should put a hook into Dark World's [dw_bonus_trait=dw_yes_bonus_futa] game-rule decision so that when you kick it off, it adds the correct traits for your character to kick off the previously referenced system. Ideally, there would be an option where you could be a younger clone, doppelganger, lot twin, or whatever of the character you start with (and have the title(s) abdicated to you) so that these teenage/young adult only events can have more than 3 years to run (or up to 6 years if your rule settings allow them to start as early as 13 instead of the default of 16). Alternately, consider extending the events a few more years older since traps can now be made permanent youthful looking. Still need to test the kink information subsystem, which will further allow testing of the kink tracker notification system (until I am satisfied and filter it to keep from being abused). I'd like to finish the kink information & talk system, but that may need more time than I should spend before putting out 0.0.4.0. (It will give you basic info about a kink, the general societal view of the kink, the often-differing religious views of the kink, and if I get really creative, it will have whatever character you are talking with be able to give their person opinions of said kink by whether they already have it or not, further modified by cultural level (nomad, tribal, feudal), religion, and other traits. I would like to have enough extended sex scenes (those over 1,000 word scenes I have been writing) for loosing your virginity to cover all combinations of the 3 possible NPCs the system is currently written for. Again, this may just need too much time and would delay 0.0.4.0 further. So, not terribly eloquent, but I did say I would post a status update. We'll see what tomorrow delivers and how much time I can put in during waiting periods at work. EDIT: This version is actually the first time I have ever really given traps much thought beyond the general grumble of them having beards. In the past, I never gave that trait to characters I was playing.
