Guest Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Hi everyone, First of all i want to appreciate all the work behind this beautiful site. I want also to make a simple question: Do you know if there is some mod or some method to "hide" your loverslab mod ? I would avoid that my friends, while watching me play, notice anything strange in the game, as the name sexlab in the mod options, or some update alert or download on the top left. Sorry for weak english, is not my native language. I saw that in my NMM there is the options to deactivate plugin of matchmaking, but not for framework. Any suggestion ?
Darklord09 Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 This made me chuckle as your post first made me think that you wanted to install SL but then have a mod that makes all the content hidden from you. All I can suggest is not playing skyrim in front of your friends or making two save game characters (one with a game that has LL mods installed and one without), back up the LL saves and uninstall your LL mods and play the other save when your friends/cousin are around. You could also try SIS - Skyrim Installation Swapper but it is very slow to switch between different installations and might mess up your NMM plugin list as it did for me a while back.

Leo77 Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Assert your dominance by playing with LL mods regardless of their presence. Just get Mod Organizer, setup two profiles, one SFW and one NSFW and switch as needed.

If i install mod organizer i lost all the mods ? or the mod organizer recognize the mods that i already installed ? Although the whole issue seems kinda weird... D_ManXX2 Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 The best way to hide is not installing sexlab mods at all, i take your friends are adults ?? so what is the problem. they are visiting you right so they should respect the stuff you have installed. I dont see how hiding is going to fix it.

I dont see how hiding is going to fix it. It depends on what sort of sex mods he as on. His friends probably wouldn't like seeing rape and bestiality while watching him play. There's no way to hide your mods and temporarily disabling them and loading a modded save can cause CTD. All you can do is load a clean save and create a new profile with only sfw mods enabled.

Nope, you would have to install everything through MO which would be best done on a clean install. Also, as mentioned already, you would have to play a different save for each set of mods since constantly enabling and disabling mods on the same save would only lead to issues, not to mention you would always lose all LL mod related progress each time you did that.
Ghost Anubis Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Well depending on what mods you have to go along with Sexlab Framework it would be fairly easy to conceal it from friends. Just don't do that stuff while you play, do adventures etc instead.

Just don't do that stuff while you play, do adventures etc instead. But even if I play normally, they can however see my mod? I have, for now, only framework and matchmaking. I saw that i can disable matchmaking from NMM plugin, and that resolve half issue, but I will be careful to not go into mod options, 'cause they can see the sexlab framework and stuff!
DixiePig Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 If you're concerned about others seeing deactivated sex mods in your mod manager, there's an application called "Skyrim Install Manager" that makes full backups of different profiles and lets you switch between them. It's very slow compared to MO because it has to copy all the files every time you switch profiles, but it would be a safer option for your privacy.
ChaosZen Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 What I find entertaining, is to have my fully modded version of Skyrim running on my laptop, while the laptop is stashed in a cabinet next to the living room big screen TV. Then I use a 6 foot USB cable connected to an old PS3 controler and leave it sitting on the entertainment center below the TV, in front of an old PS3, which could be left turned on, but the TV is switched to the HDMI input connected to the hidden laptop. Then just wait for friends or guests to show up (or even during a party), and just leave Skyrim running on the start menu. Things really get entertaining when somebody wants to play it, thinking it's just a regular Skyrim. Long before they manage to escape Helgen, they usually trigger a "Deviously Cursed Loot" chest. They usually say something like, "WTF??! Why am I naked, and how do I get these boots and gloves off?". I just tell them, "Run!, you don't have time to worry about getting them off, you'll be attacked if you're dressed like that!". So they panic and start running, which almost always results in getting hit by a spitting spider before reaching the exit of Helgen, which has about a 50% chance of triggering an Estrus tentacle attack. That's when the party really gets fun and everybody is watching the screen! Some even get far enough to make it to Riverwood, only to have an overly aroused horse sexually assault them. .

They don't allow adult content to begin with and you won't have to worry about swapping between profiles or having both versions of Skyrim using up your PC's hard drive space.

Like i said in previous post just download another copy of MO install under different name copy regular mods just dont install any sex mods on this copy of MO and no sex mods will be shown or else just turn off pc put huge lock on it with 128 k / 256 k encription and just dont start your pc up problem solved..
artourbabyrage Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 Use two different MO directories. Download the manual install for MO, extract the zip to a seperate directory, and now you have a whole new fresh Mod Organiser client to install mods on. That or just use profiles in NMM or MO.
