Just installed CK, So how do I edit the mods that I have?

 

Edit: sorry that was a stupid question, I'll try exploring some more but please expect some questions coming.

I just found out that my fix only fixes the Player's Face. NPC/Enemy faces are still blocky. Don't know where their textures are^^

 

The Elin NPC and Enemies only have tints.  They link to the same files as the playable character (plugins), but do not come with their own texture files.

Other than the one in 2chElin Fix (elin face tex_msn.dds) there are 4 more in the FACE subfolder.

 

For the greatsword displacement, the hands would have riggings for swords.  It would be a matter of making adjustments to that particular rigging.

Just found them^^ God was I blind. Adding gaussian blur to them works great. Maybe it's time to visit Elisif again :D

I currently have a Breton with Lady Body.  Elisef is wearing Krista's Jarl clothes (for Lady Body) and she looks great.  When I do the GT NPC replacers, I might make her a Castanic with Lady Body just for those sexy Jarl clothes.

Just a question tho, will there be male elins/monli or any sort of boy replacer included, then? I wouldn't even mind vanilla clothes... I JUST WANT DECENT FACES. And better hairs, probably apachii ones or something just as good [i know there are other hair mods, Apachii one is just the most known]

Castanic? I didn't know there's a mod to bring these hotties to Skyrim O.o

I made 2 versions of the Castanic race.  The first is outdated since it was released around the time Beth released the 1.6 update.  The second was an update using a very early version of ECE-CME.  The ECE-CME I used in the Monli race Enhanced is far better.  My Girls of Tera will consist of the Elins (with a kawaii human face and Elin body), Castanics, and High Elves.  I might add the Tera Humans, but I need to find a way to make them unique compared to the Skyrim humans.

I updated the Monli race.  It includes the male Monli as shown in my screenshot in that thread.  The male and female Monli's can have either the original Monli ears or Kashim's version with human ears.  The updated race uses the latest ECE-CME which is what I'll be using for the Girls of Tera, or one version as there will be another without CME (Character Making Extender).

 

The male "Elins" are the Poporis. 

 

 

 

I have the ripped models for the Poporis, but I'm not experienced enough to make the conversion.  I'm slowly learning Blender, though.

after using the creation kit, it froze at the begining where it shows the skyrim logo, where there's no smoke and the continue, new etc. isn't showing up.

Did you have any problems changing their outfit to 'none'?

 

Hold on, I think I know what went wrong.  Give me a minute to make the changes, check them in game and upload the file.

I'm seriously hoping for any non-ece/cme versions. I'm sure it adds some incredible customization options, but I'm not going to use that [and I get less esps to install, less incompatibility... and so on]

Well, if I make the GT Elins standalone (not compatible with the current Elins), the core files and maybe a new body pack will be ready by next weekend.  It could be sooner.

 

The last release date was pushed back because of the problems with Mediafire, finding a decent place to upload the files and getting the enhanced Monli race done and out of the way.

The problem with the first was I launched CK through Mod Organizer.  Something happened and the edits did not save.  This time I launched CK through Steam.

I'm guessing this CK doesn't like me much cause everytime I try to edit an npc default clothing it freezes in the beginning.

What exactly am I suppose to load when editing elin NPC? I load

ElinRace Enemy.esp

ElinRace NewNPC.esp

ElinRace NPC.esp

 

I feel like I'm doing something wrong.

 

Edit: I figured it's something to do with the npc I edited.

I'm not really familiar with what I can edit there and not edit, I usually do just touch the onces with "NPC" on their names.

^nevermind the problem above, managed to do something about it

 

I noticed that the nord female child are all elins (just checked britte and svari)... However even if I change their default clothes to none, nothing happens.

Any help?

Ok not just nordracechild are the ones who are elins.

 

There's this girl named lisette but when I checked the CK, it says her race is a bretton and when I try to edit her default clothes, It doesn't change.

Any help?

Go to your SKYRIM folder and look for SkyrimEditor.ini, open it with Notepad, look for the [GENERAL] category and at the bottom of the [GENERAL] category add this line (if it's not already there):

Now in the Creation Kit, when selecting the master files,  you will be able to choose more than 2.  When editing the Elin followers or Elin NPC plugins, the files you select will look something like this:

  • Skyrim.esm
  • RaceCompatibility.esm
  • ElinRace.esm
  • -

  • (ACTIVE) ElinRace NPC.esp (or ElinRace NewNPC.esp or ElinRace Enemy.esp)

I think you didn't have that one entry in SkyrimEditor.ini and couldn't include the 3 master files when editing the Elin plugins.  One way to know what master files the plugins are using is to click on the plugin in the window that lists the master/plugin files and look to the list on the right-side.  The plugin's dependancies (master files) will be listed there.  These master files need to be enabled when editing the plugin.

 

You can also have multiple plugins enabled, but only one can be "active" because the active plugin is what is being edited and changes save to.  If the plugins are enabled, but none are active, CK will have you save any changes as a 'new' plugin (CK doesn't create master files).

Are you editing ElinRace NPC.esp?  This one changes the named NPCs to Elins.  ElinRace New NPC adds Elins and ElinRace Enemy changes some of the enemies to Elins.
