Reserving this for the Girls of Tera. - Getting started on the Girls of Tera - Elins. (-------------------{ About Race Compatibility Mods }--------------------) There are two mods that makes custom races compatibile with Skyrim, 1) Racial Compatibility Improved v1.5 and 2) Race Compatibility v1.7. These two can not be used together as there will be conflicts and errors. Here are ways to fix the errors or avoid them. Racial Compatibility v1.7 http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/10165 uses these scripts: - CompanionHouseKeepingScript.pex - PlayerVampireQuestScript.pex - PlayerWerewolfChangeScript.pex script source files: - CompanionHouseKeepingScript.psc - PlayerVampireQuestScript.psc - PlayerWerewolfChangeScript.psc --------------------------------------- Race Compatibility - Compatibility with Other Mods Improved v1.5 http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/24898 This is what I use and is included with the Elin race. uses these scripts: - GenericRaceController.pex - yarc_initquestscript.pex - yarc_playeraliasscript.pex script source files: - GenericRaceController.psc - yarc_initquestscript.psc - yarc_playeraliasscript.psc --------------------------------------- PROBLEM 1- When these two mods are installed together, there will be script errors and you will see error messages regarding CompanionHouseKeepingScript.pex, PlayerVampireQuestScript.pex, and PlayerWerewolfChangeScript.pex. SOLUTION 1- Uninstall one of the Race Compatibility mods. Which one to install depends on the next problem. PROBLEM 2- Certain mods (example: Ultimate Followers Overhaul) uses the Racial Compatibility v1.7 scripts (writes to the scripts) and removing those scripts can cause problems with the mod. SOLUTION 1 2- Remove the Race Compatibility Improved v1.5 files and continue using RC v1.7. SOLUTION 2 (alternative) 2- Follow the mod's (ex: Ultimate Followers Overhaul) instructions on how to uninstall the mod. - Now uninstall Race Compatibility v1.7. - Leave Race Compatibility Improved v1.5 installed. - Start the game and create a new save. Exit game. - Reinstall Ultimate Followers Overhaul (or any other mod that uses RC v1.7). Basically you will be starting over (this has nothing to do with starting a new game and only refers to the mod you had to reinstall), but this time using a different Race Compatibility mod. I was doing searches for "Skyrim mods" and "Skyrim Tera mods" and came across links to a few Japanese BBS. Any links they provide is either to other BBS, uploaded images, mods on the Nexus and LoversLab, or Mediafire files. So the files I have uploaded and those I have yet to upload are from various BBS sites. Some examples are: Skyrim.mod.jp www.2ch-viewer.com

Elin Race Helm fix >>Elin Race Helm Fix<< It fix all vanilla helm. EN patches >>EN patches<< For Elin Race, Summon Elin ring, Elin race helm Fix and Elin Aborea (Elin Village) In EN patches folder you'll see 2 version of file. 1. embed version is esp/esm file that translate to English already, copy and paste it to your data folder it should work fine pls backup you old esp/esm file before overwrite it. 2. string version is esp/esm file that has translate String file come with it, without this String file you can not start skyrim, copy all file and paste it to your data folder it should overwrite your old file so make sure to backup it before I use esm file from stable version to made EN patches for Elin Race and use fix esp file for Summon Elin Ring that I post on 1st page so them should work fine. An EN patches for Elin Race and Summon Elin Ring is still Testing phase and it need to correction in some sentence and words. PsychoMachina Posted June 17, 2012 Author Posted June 17, 2012 Thank you arkgolf. I'm sure I would have missed that update. I'll update my original post. As for the other files, I already have them. I assume they have not been updated, only the New Elin Race mod. I also have two Elin voice mods. One is like what you have (BSA and ESP files) but labeled "ElinRaceVoice-FemaleEvenToned" and the second voice mod contains scripts and voice files. So the question is, are they all the same mod. I haven't tried them out yet, but I'll try yours first then compare it to what I have. I have and tried the Elin Arborea mod and was confused as to what was its purpose. If anyone decides to try it out, you can fast-travel to its location. It's located on the mountain North-West of Windhelm. Thanks for your help.

This happens both when I load my last save or start a new game, occasionally, my right eye would just disappear. That, and for some reason, I swing a weapon twice in one swing, and every other time I move during the swing. I click once and I hit something twice, I click once and walk in a circle and I hit about 10 times. Finally, all of the names and locations show up as []'s. The mods are in the right load order, I've tried re-installing the mods and I've tried even going back to the old version I had to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This happens both when I load my last save or start a new game' date=' occasionally, my right eye would just disappear. That, and for some reason, I swing a weapon twice in one swing, and every other time I move during the swing. I click once and I hit something twice, I click once and walk in a circle and I hit about 10 times. Finally, all of the names and locations show up as [']'s. The mods are in the right load order, I've tried re-installing the mods and I've tried even going back to the old version I had to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated! For this issue I thought you should clean install Elin race once again. First thing If you have Elin character load in to game with your last save and un-equip everything you wear on than save and exist game. 2nd You must delete every old Elin race mod file. Delete --- Elin race.esm than ----go to your skyrim Data\meshes\actors and delete -----2chElin and 2chElin fix than ----goto your skyrim Data\textures\actors and delete -----2chElin and 2chElin fix Install NewestElinRace20120616a and all require file again. A NewestElinRace20120616a do not need other fix file anymore, it came with new fix file version so just install it. About ElinRace - ApachiiHair.esm ElinRace - Use Monli Body.esp it need original mod mash and texture you must download it or install them. Since 2chElinArborea came with new Elin armor / cloth, so you do not need other Elin armor anymore delete them or deactivated it. After install when you load in to game with your last save you may need to adjust your new hair, eyes, ears + tail by type showracemenu in console. It should wok properly. Thanks for such a quick reply last time~ Hello Kirisame The block symbols you see in-game is the result of the game unable to translate any text from a mod made in a different language from the one your using. The neck seam you're experiencing is because of the texture differences between the head and body (light-color head; medium-color body). I have a few files that are labeled as retextures. I have not used them yet, so give me some time to test them out. Maybe I or somebody else will happen upon a file that will fix the neck seam. The Elin Race Update does affect the Apachii hairs. I suggest uninstalling the update and continue using the old version that I uploaded earlier (don't forget to install the Elin Race Small file(s). Also, if you like, download the Elin Taint files to add the Tera hairs and ears (they appear on the hair slider). I don't know why you are having the bizarre attack animations. Have you started a new game to see if it happens then? Sometimes adding any type of updates to a custom race will cause problems and starting a new character/new game will avoid any problems. Good luck. EDIT: Concerning some of the hairs not showing up, go to Meshes > Actors > 2chElin Fix > Hair and see if the Apachii folder is there. If not, extract the Elin Apachii Hair Fix and copy/paste the Apachii folder to the above folder path. In addition, I also upload a patch to the head glitching through the hairs.
Kirisame Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 I figured the block writing was because of the language, I just thought something was wrong since the version I had before was translated. I've solved the neck issue by wearing a scarf and I'll look further into the bizarre attacking issue. You've been a great help, thanks again! So far on the attacking bug I found out it only happens in 3rd person view, the problem is across all races and even when I uninstalled the race entirely, the bug was still there, so I think the problem isn't the race, but at the same time, the problem arose the moment I installed it.

When I use only Elin Taint When I use only Monli Race body When I use Monli race body + taint I thought it was only me... Edit : Ok I knew why it look like that it's because my weight slide is goes to the left it must be on the right !!!

Nope, I have those issues too, but I often ignore it since I'm always wearing armour over the top of it. Been like that since the first version I had.

For current characters use "setnpcweight"; 1) bring up console (Shift+tilde (~)) 2) click on your character and you should see her ID appear on screen. 3) type setnpcweight 100 then hit Enter. 4) Shift+tilde again to exit console. If you are creating a new character then remember to move the body weight slider to the right.

Could somebody test on this shout pls. *** Ok after testing on my other character a Slow Time Shout is still not work properly, so the New Elin voice maybe work properly.

I uploaded a stable release pack using the last race update (v20120618). If you have the New Elin Race v20120526: -1- Install the Apachii Hair Fix to add the Apachii Hairs. Look in Data > Meshes > actors > 2chElin fix > hair for the apachii folder (this contains the Elin's Apachii hairs). If you have the New Elin Race v20120616a: -1- Install the Apachii Hair Fix AND Head Fix for New Elin Race Update (this fixes the head clipping through the hairs). As for the the Monli body problem, I suggest installing the Monli race AFTER installing any of the New Elin Race versions I mentioned above then make sure the ElinRace-UseMonliBody.esp is last on the load order. If all else fails then download the Stable Release Pack I'm about to link to as this contains all the necessary files + patches + some optional add-ons. Good Luck. EDIT: I'm rushing the updates atm because I have a busy schedule today so I might not be able to help out with any bug problems for the time being.

One of it items needed to craft it is a black soul gem so using console command to get the ring is easier if you are early in the game...unless you know exactly where to find a black soul gem.
