I spent the last week (or two by this point) editing one of hairstyles found in KS, it is called Traveler. What I tried to achieve was cutting the braid in half and then re-attaching the knot to the remainder of the hair. That failed miserable for a variety of reasons. After fiddling with it for a few more days, I eventually gave up, uninstalled 3DS Max and am now seeking aid. If any of you folks are familiar with editing rather sensitive meshes like hairs/headparts, please lend me a helping hand. Check the picture below for some more detail and what I had in mind. Anyway, I'd be very greatful for any help!

It doesn't show the application order of the effects AFAIK but it does show all effects, buffs and debuffs.
