CBBE / BodySlide and Outfit Studio

Tried it out a bit, it's definitely a night and day difference to the old CBBE body. It also seems to be more versatile on BodySlide.

Since I have the older CBBE/Caliente stuff installed on my SSE game..how would I go about installing from NMM?  Is there anything I should remove..like Nishtonka's World of Bikini Armor?

In theory, all of this stuff can cause you wrist/ankle seams if you mix and match old with new stuff.

You can try playing around with it to see if you get issues and if you can fix them by having gauntlets etc. equipped.

But most likely it won't always work. People will have to convert outfits. I'm already talking to some, and some are in progress.

Just want to drop by and say thanks to you and everyone involved with the release of this. I'm not currently playing Skyrim SE, but have been waiting for this to drop and for SKSE64 to coagulate. Now, I'm very close to jumping back into Skyrim -- and it'll be a brand new experience given all the efforts you and other modders here and on Nexus have put in.

Caliente- if you come across this post -- please accept my humble thanks.

What I meant to ask..should I delete the old Caliente stuff or?  Before downloading the new Caliente SSE stuff?

Yes, at least the BodySlide projects of the body will directly conflict.

Do existing CBBE skins work as is or do I need to use the new normal?

Reddit post or Nexus sticky comment:

"CBBE body textures from Oldrim are compatible with CBBE SSE."

Do you mean the .xml files for the older CBBE body in the Preset folder?  Or?

The files in SliderSets and SliderPresets that came with Oldrim CBBE.

For the Wrye Bash intelligentsia, the CBBE SE Wizard is out. Top row of the top post on the WizBAIN page.

Make sure you rename the file to "Wizard.txt" and place it in the bottom of the 7z file, or Unpack the mod to a Project and place the wizard.txt in the root of the package folder.

Please report on the AFK Mods thread if there are any bugs. I probably won't be checking this thread anymore now that CBBE is released.

Just to be sure, this is definitely not compatible with Oldrim, right?

The files that are uploaded right now only work in SSE.

There's no plans to port it back to Oldrim.

Got it. Too bad there isn't a tool that converts the nifs from SSE to Oldrim automatically. Not quite ready to make the full move to SSE yet (waiting for a decent modding tool).

When I first saw it on the Nexus this late afternoon, my first thought was of Adult Swim's Freaknik from several years ago:

"Abbac, Abbac... I'M BACK (music starts playing)"

For a more 'lore-friendly' response:

"PRAISE THE NINE!!!"
