Uh i feel like this shouldn't be happening but i got a hand seam  I tried rebuilding the body in bodyslide but that didn't fix it either. It's only on the vanilla race that got changed but the races that are added in (i.e snow elf) its not that noticeable. Could it be because of the preset im using?

What preset are you using, exactly? Assuming the hand meshes are fine, the gap could be explained by you using one of the presets that don't match the vanilla hand seam placement (DreamGirl and SevenBase Bombshell are examples of those, but there's more).

Even without clothes it still happens. I'm going to try using a smaller preset.

EDIT: Using the unp preset puts them more in line but there's still a seem. It sucks cause i like that preset. 

Also the some of the race's hands look somewhat distorted and elongated. Not sure if its supposed to happen or not.

Yeah, that looks bad. Could be something about the hand nifs being corrupted somehow, could be due to something related to skeletons. Have you played around with bone sliders in RaceMenu? What version of XPMSE are you using? Does your YA install use digitigrade skeletons (I assume it does, but still)?

 

Only thing I can suggest at the moment is to try reinstalling YA and making sure it overwrites any other mod files and see if that helps somehow.

Doesn't use any of the uunp sliders

Yeah, that looks bad. Could be something about the hand nifs being corrupted somehow, could be due to something related to skeletons. Have you played around with bone sliders in RaceMenu? What version of XPMSE are you using? Does your YA install use digitigrade skeletons (I assume it does, but still)?

 

Only thing I can suggest at the moment is to try reinstalling YA and making sure it overwrites any other mod files and see if that helps somehow.

Haven't touched the racemenu sliders, Newest version of Xpmse 4.33, I'm pretty sure it is. Yiffy age is overwriting everything. The hands still look like that

I checked the pictures, but the part in the blue circle is not a hands connection. Hands connection is in red circle.

 

Edith: Perhaps a stupid question but, do you generate  hands in BodysSlide?

Generating hands with Bodyslide doesn't matter here, because YA includes its own custom clawed hands (as seen on the pics) in a separate path from the vanilla ones.

 

What you could try would be to either edit the naked hands ArmorAddons of the YA races to point to the vanilla hands path ("actors/character/character assets/femalehands_1.nif") or generate the UUNP Special Hands in Bodyslide with your preset and then replace the clawed hands nifs with them (can't remember their file path, though). If the hands look fine after doing it, we'll know it is due to something being wrong with the clawed hands nif; otherwise, if the UUNP hands look bad as well, it must be something else (probably skeleton-related).

This fixed the seams and the deformations. I tested it on the khajiit

Then something is wrong with the clawed hands, but if it's because the nifs got corrupted somehow, it should have been fixed if you reinstalled YA. No idea what could be the cause, then. The hands are fine, or at least I've never had problems with them.

Honestly have no clue whats causing it to happen. I've downloaded the file 4 times now and each one has the problem

Nobody else has reported that issue, so the files in the download can't be broken, or else we would be getting plenty of reports (specially considering for how long the file has been up). I'm completely out of ideas.

 

I guess you can simply replace the clawed hands with the Special hands generated in Bodyslide; you'll lose the claws and have human nails instead but it should get rid of the issue according to your post above.

My computer must just hate this mod for some reason. I've tried only having this and requirements installed and same problem. 

So it looks like that's the only solutions huh? Nasty human hands I cry every time. 

 

Edit: Is there a quick way to do it? Like one specific line i need to change or do i have to do it for every race? Time consuming but i'm use to it

Instead of changing the file path on each and every single hand ArmorAddon from YA, you can simply replace the clawed hand nifs themselves (as in, the actual nif files) with the human ones. No need to make changes to the plugin at all.

@Bad Dog, now that you've released the 8.0 update of Hoodies, I wanted to ask something: do you have any plans to update YA with it?

 

As it is right now, the YA download includes the (now outdated) Hoodies 7.0 files but doesn't actually use them, as the YA Schlongs plugin includes its own copy of the Hoodies system. IMO the best course of action for the upcoming YA update would be to get rid of YA's "internal" Hoodies copy altogether and make YA dependent on the main Hoodies framework plugin (BadDogSchlongCore.esm), but I guess it's up to you.

 

Also, small question: do older SOS addons dependent on Hoodies 7.0+ need to be updated/changed to work with the 8.0+ version? I assume not, but I have Hoodies patches for both Lungaris and Selachii and would like to know if I have to update them or they are fine as-is.

It might not cause any real problems, but both Khajiit Overhaul and Yiffy Age make very similar changes to Khajiit. On that basis, I'd suggest not using KO with Yiffy Age.
