I knew what it was, I downloaded it to use it but even though I removed the mod its still showing up. I love the new update everything works fine but just this one thing I cant fingre out.

You removed the stream file? Make sure you have, then delete localthumbnailcache.package and your cache folder in the Sims 4 folder.

well, I have version 1.50.67 of the game compatible with the mod. And I decided to update wickedwhims, so I removed all the old files of the same. I also removed from my folder mods all other mods for fear of some conflict. So I just left wickedwhims installed and started a new game for testing, and now it only appears as installed, but nothing else appears during the game, no notification, absolutely nothing, it's like it's not there.

Yeah I'm having this exact problem. If I don't put skin detail nipples on, nobody has nipples.

Look in your The Sims 4 folder there should be an WickedWhims textdocument open that one and press ctrl+f and now search for prop it should show you animation name+animation creator and after that missing prop.

 

If you can't find the prop with ctrl+f it's somewhere near the top of the document, for me it was after some lines called Loaded CAS Part Handler.

What sort of height slider mods does WW support? Or is there like one in particular that is hugely popular (and hopefully maintained). I've thought about height mods but stayed away in case of animation glitch issues. Since WW is supporting them, it seems a bit more convincing to try.

 

Is Luumiasims' slider okay?

What version does it work with? Scratch that. I don't keep up with version numbers. I thought 1.50 was a new version, not an old version.

So are there any outstanding bugs in this update before I decide to start going through my modlist and checking them all for compatibility with the new patch?

I'm asking the devs and helpers/regulars, not the usual users since I'm already seeing some "bugs" that aren't really bugs (e.g. censorship easily fixed by removing streamer mode).

Same here...not updating till I know everything's ok as I have literally HUNDREDS of mods!

that's what taught me to keep my hair mods in there own folder. with all the new hairstyles, im taking mine out. I have one in mine too.

WW changed the way it handles skintones and overlays.  It nows uses your Sims 4 mod load order.  Arrange your mods properly (I use folders in alphabetical order) and it should be resolved.  You can also download some skins and overlays as default overrides which works also.  Good luck.

The only prop that came up was the bed double dildo. It's there and it still works.

There are several reasons for this.  Check the following:

 

1.  Are you running the latest version of Sims 4?  The current version is 1.52.100.1020 (as of June 20, 2019).  You can check this by opening GameVersion.txt in your Sims 4 folder (view attachment).  Wicked Whims will not work with pirated copies of the game.  You must be using Origin with a legal copy of The Sims 4.

 

2.  Are you running the latest version of Wicked Whims?  The current version is 4.3.5.142C (as of June 22, 2019).

 

3.  Do you have Mods and Script Mods enabled in your Sims 4 game options?  (view attachment)  These options will not activate until you restart your game (if they weren't enabled previously).  Both of these options are automatically disabled after all major Sims 4 game updates.

 

4.  Is your Mods folder in the correct location?  (view attachment)

 

5.  Are you using a Resource.cfg file in your Sims 4 Mods folder?  (see attachments - use my attached one if needed)

 

6.  Do you have the correct WW files in your Sims 4 Mods folder?  (view attachment)

 

7.  Are you using Wicked Whims related mods that may not support the current version of Wicked Whims?  (Wicked Perversions, Basemental Drugs, etc.)  Try removing these mods and try again.  Check their sites for updates and support information.  If WW related mods don't expressly say that they support the version of Wicked Whims that you are using they WILL NOT WORK.

 

8.  Check all of your mods for updates.  If your game isn't running correctly use the 50/50 rule.  Remove 50% of the mods in your Mods folder until the problem goes away; then add the last group you removed back in a little bit at a time until the problem reappears.  This way you can narrow down and remove the offending mod.  You can also remove all mods to see if the problem exists in the vanilla game (create a new game when testing this as your existing save games may have mod information in them or could even be corrupted).  Narrow the problem down until you find the solution.

 

It is also a good idea to add new mods into a specific folder to test them.  Then, after they have been performing well for a while without issues you can move them into their correct permanent location in your Mods folder.

 

SimsVIP maintains a spreadsheet of what mods have been broken or updated by the latest patch. Everyone needs to bookmark that and regularly match it up with their own mods collection.

 

Maintaining, organizing, and updating your Sims 4 Mods folder needs to become a hobby.

Sacrificial Mods - FYI

 

If you are using Sacrificial mods and are getting a Last Exception error everytime you click on a Sim, you'll need to update these mods.  Two updates were posted today for 'Hoe it Up' and 'Extreme Violence'.

 

The only reason I'm mentioning it in this forum is because some of Sacrificial's mods are causing Wicked Whims to report Last Exception errors everytime you click on a Sim.

How exactly do you update a mod/package file? Ever since the June update when I try to make a new package file to test in-game, it will not appear in the animation list. I can see other animations, from before, but mine have vanished and I'm not sure how to fix it. 

 

I have updated my WW to the latest version and I'm currently on the latest version of Sims4 as well.  Any advice would be great! I really hope i just didn't overlook something really simple...

Anyone would help me, I would love to have only the nude default body replacement from the WW package, since it doesn't conflict with the game vanilla skin and by far is the best nude in my opinion. Anyway to get it without all the script mod and other resources, just the WW nude body?

I prefer it, tried redheadsims and it worked with WW but for me it's more buggy in game animations, it seems it works differently, like changes limbs differently?

Also is there a script\mod\or_something that randomize height for all sims?

 

PS: no EA update = no problems
