Short update from me.

Until today I had installed version 4.3.5.137k. Now I have updated to 4.3.5.139e.

WickedWhims works perfectly.

Where it comes to specifying your Sim gender, you have quite some customization in CAS and Wicked settings, so that's out of the way. The same applies to some visual content, especially with extra mods out there.

 

For any text and proper pronouns, that's quite insane to implement and I think most would go insane from trying. There is just far too much to do and with the existing limitations to "rendering" text, it's most likely never going to happen. Unless it's something Maxis implements.

 

In terms of relationships, I am planning on implementing a range of extra layers to Sims relations but I would most likely not try making it in any way gender-specific. It's most likely going to be more about things Sims prefer and find attractive in a selective manner than grouping it into a limited set of options. Sims, as a game, already has a limited set of things that can be achieved, so trying to simplify it even further is just not worth it. You decide yourself what is important to you and create your own idea of what matters for Sims rather than me imposing extra limitations.

I might have an small idea/suggestion to add but idk how possible that would be. 

 

right now if I create a male sim with female frame and feminine clothing style that sim is still using the male sexy pose (showing the muscles) instead of the female one(shaking hip/butt) and that sim is also using the male celebrity walk instead of the female one.

 

so my idea/suggestion was if it's somehow possible to make an option so that the game thinks that a sim is an female/male an would use the female/male animations that way

I too have smoking mod by necrodog, it doesn't cause any issues for me but Sacrificials Extreme violence DEFINITELY does cause crashes. Anyone who adds E/V will experience crashes. Unsure about LittleMsSam mods..

I was personally thinking about player animations with maybe a separate menu, yes! Or maybe just the ability to mark favourites in the existing menus with a star icon? Not sure if it could somehow overlap with a favourites list for autonomy or how that would work.

 

Sorry, I know that's barely any clarification.. but basically I'd just find it really helpful if I could maybe have a shorter list of my favourites for when I'm sometimes manually choosing animations. As it is, I have a decent chunk of animations disabled, but even still there's a lot of animations enabled, and there are definitely ones that work better for the couples I'm actually selecting stuff for at that moment, so it would be really convenient to be able to pick off a shorter list. I suppose I could just cull my list of enabled animations even further, to be fair! I was just wondering if maybe it would be possible to get around this without something quite that drastic, and as a non-dev, to me a favourites feature seemed the most straightforward method for that, but admittedly, I have no idea how much work that would need and if it would even be possible/worth it if not a lot people would want to use it.

 

I guess another feature targeting the same (non-)issue from a totally different approach would be if players could rename/nickname animations, because at its core the issue isn't just "too many animations" but also "I can't really recall which doggy animation this particular one is from the 5 different sequences I have enabled for this object". With renaming I'd be able to differentiate better and also maybe put a ! in front of my favourites. Again, no idea whether this is feasible or worth it – sorry if it isn't!

for me is better selected sim fav animations

but how it will be autonomously chosen idk

I've turned off all the independence of my Sims in the options,
