Turbodriver, can you explain how the autonomy work in more specific?

 

Here's my idea in specific way, I hope it can help you for inspiration...

 

In my opinion, it's easier if the autonomy tied to just the flirty emotion. Flirty Sims means horny Sims, want to have sex. As EA already build a lot of romantic features that we can use and very well fit in the gameplay too. If we want to make Sims ask for sex, just make them horny (flirty), whatever by romantic aura on the lot or manually flirting stranger Sims directly in the bar for example. The higher the sum of flirty moodlet number (like the sum of flirty +3 and flirty +1), the higher the change for ask for sex. Up to very flirty means Sims are extremely horny, and can't resist sex.

 

I think in user perspective it easier to understand and use too. New user will understand right away because it just using flirty emotion.

 

If player want to play very kinky, they can make a certain situation to make all Sims very flirty, by adding romantic trait, lot trait, club trait, objects, etc all at once. There will be a lot of sex over and over again, as they will be bombarded by flirty moodlet. I think it will need a cooldown moodlet to prevent non stop sex and more realistic, like being depleted for male and sore for female. I think female can have non stop sex one after another for several times before it get sore. Male can have depleted moodlet and remove all flirty moodlet, but can still have sex again if they able to get flirty again, but get very depleted if depleted moodlet already there. Very depleted means no sex at all.

 

And if player want to play normally, they can too by avoiding any romantic stuff, but ask for sex can still be happened rarely depend on the game triggering romantic interaction for non romantic Sims in non romantic location/situation. How the game able to keep continuous romantic interaction until Sims get flirty enough. But from what I saw the game already have feature to make partnered Sims flirt each other frequently, which is normal Sims can still have a sex life too, more privately.

 

Normal non romantic Sims can have sex party too, if they are joining romantic club or visiting a lot with high romantic aura.

 

BTW, this is just a theory only. May be you need more adjustment later to be practical and realistic.

 

 

For the sex satisfaction, it should be based on combination of being flirty and sex skill. In real world being very very horny is also a big factor too (you know, sex like a beast). Normal Sims with low sex skill can still have a good satisfaction on sex, if they do it in the romantic area, and if they are flirting good enough. High sex skill Sims can have low satisfaction if they are not flirting good enough or do it in the wrong place that give Sims non flirty emotion (which is they are not in the mood for sex).

 

 

I remember now, yeah, kw autonomy is not so good unleash being triggered. Once there a sims who love to flirt and naked on the lot, chain reaction happened. I usually make Sims being naked as sleeping cloth, when they wake up and walking around in the house, it's already giving a seed for autonomy sex later as Sims around them get horny. As well as giving Sims romantic trait, so they will flirt around.

 

 

Height slider in modthesims. Once you use it, you never want to back again. Make female a little bit shorter is good enough, just a little bit, so the sex animation won't be misaligned too much.

 

Use the older one, rather than the new one.

I will explain how autonomy works in more detail sometime else. There is a lot to cover and I already tried to explain it on Patreon.

 

Sims being flirty is the least of my problems when developing sex autonomy. It already affects Sims, in many different ways. Sex autonomy triggers in few different ways and one is flirting related too.

Can you make option to make autonomous change will be triggered only by being flirty? Without any other variable...

 

Smaller change for just being flirty and higher change for very flirty. Depend on the sum number of flirty moodlet (like flirty +3 for example).

 

You just need to create option, copy past the existing code but removed other code beside the flirty moodlet part. If as simple as it sound... Hahaha

Earlier this week, I was using the WickedWhims mod and made a teen guy walk in on his father masturbating. I found it unrealistic that the effect was the same as it would be for normal sims, which is automatic arousal from witnessing a sexual act. I personally feel like it would be a good idea to add more in-depth family features. For example, if a mother walks in on her son masturbating, she could become disgusted and perform a certain action which would stop the animation immediately and give the "poor masturbation" buff or any one of the "embarrassment" buffs. On rare occasions, Sims walked in on could possibly die from embarrassment. 

 

However, taking the Incest trait into consideration, it would be cool if parents with this trait become sexually aroused when walking in on a son/daughter masturbating. Moreso, Sims who walk in on parents masturbating would result in the same effect.

 

Thanks, sorry if I mentioned anything which is already implemented. I haven't gone too in-depth with the wickedwhims mod.

If you had incest enabled then this does not work right in the current release. Next release should have it right.

I agree with part of this I have a mother who walks in on her daughter having sex with her boyfriend and she just gets the horrified moodlet and leaves and they just continue. Making them stop and a longer lasting moodlet or even an angry moodlet occasionally would be more realistic. Plus chasing the BF/GF out of the house and affecting relationships would be great. If I walked in on my daughter having sex that guy would be running as fast as his feet could carry him.

From what I understand, forced sex is still a work in progress.

 

If it has not already been discussed, I would like to suggest a couple of (conflicting) Reward Traits that would go with the forced interactions.

 

• Fighter:  Drastically reduced chance of being targeted for a forced interaction as well as a much greater chance of fighting off the offender, no matter what the Fitness skill level is.

• Victim:  Drastically increase the chance of being targeted for a forced interaction as well as a much greater chance of being unable to fight off the offender, no matter what the Fitness skill level is.

Due to their natural polarity, only one should be able to be picked.  Either by removing (graying out) the opposing trait, or by having the original trait be removed if the other trait was chosen later (Victim personality gaining self confidence, saying 'no more' and start fighting back / Fighter losing self confidence or stop feeling like they can fight back as generally seen in victims of emotional abuse).  Another option, on the chance that removing a Reward Trait is not really feasible, if both Reward Traits are chosen (for some reason) is to cause them to negate each other and act as a baseline (no trait selected).

 

While presumptions are generally a bad thing, I am going to go ahead and presume that (CAS) Traits and emotions are already going to be factored into the forced interactions algorithm so I do not feel the need to comment further on that.

 

Also, thank you for all of your hard work.  WW and MCCC are the two main reasons I bought, and continue to play, TS4.

Imagine a sim choosing a location (like kitchen counter, sofa, bench) and choosing the option "Invite Sex".  They get naked and get into position - bend over the counter, sit on the couch, lay on the bench, etc.)  They then generate a "come fuck me" vibe that calls other sims to them.  The sim could even call out, slap their own ass, or motion other sims to come over.  Other sims on the lot would then react to this vibe, much like a call to meal or baby crying.  They see the sim in position, and (assuming the relationships, gender, traits, etc. are compatible) they eagerly join in, assuming the appropriate animation based on the sim's chosen location and position.  Other sims can stand around and cheer, masturbate, or join in.

 

It would also be nice to click on another sim and just say "Get on your knees" or "Bend over" or "Get naked, NOW" - then have the sim react with shock/surprise... then either walk away disgusted or angry, OR consider for a moment, and submit.  Asking for sex is alright, but demanding it is sublime...

Finally I understand about the autonomy... It seems the autonomy is set for realistic romantic sex between partnered Sims. I feel like this is the strongest situation that triggered autonomy.

 

I tested a family with just 2 Sims, husband and wife on a house lot. They flirt each other a bit long and get lust moodlet. Not long after that ask for sex will show up. Tested for three days of gameplay, they have sex for two times by themselves. So flirting interaction that give lust moodlet is the most important moodlet to trigger ask for sex, despite Sims perhaps only have 2 flirty moodlets.

 

I tested before by bombarding a Sims with flirty moodlet, from the trait (like perverted trait), being naked and romantic room/lot moodlet, but the effect is not as strong as lust moodlet from flirting interaction despite Sims is already very flirty with 3-5 flirty moodlets... I wonder if actually flirty moodlet means nothing to autonomy if flirting interaction never happened? The only usefulness of flirty moodlet, is just to make Sims to have higher change for flirty interaction autonomously being triggered by the game engine, that then if flirty interaction happened a bit long enough, ask for sex will be triggered.

 

 

After sex, Sims will get pleasantly satisfied moodlet. As long as the moodlet still there, Sims won't get autonomous ask for sex, whatever how you manage Sims to flirt up to very flirty. Tested on ww.testsexautonomy, both Sims is ignored. But once the moodlet disappear, and Sims flirt each other, ask for sex will be triggered again.

 

 

But the drawback, based on my observation... Sims usually is very busy all day like playing computer, reading a book, or do other stuff, that they rarely flirting each other. The more your house filled with high advertising stuffs, the more your Sims distracted from flirting interaction. I hate computer at home, as Sims seems to prefer chatting over the computer rather than their partner.

 

And if romantic relationship is not high enough, and if not partnered Sims, the game won't make a Sims to flirt as frequent as possible. That makes the autonomy rarely triggered, because autonomy depend on flirting interaction that a bit long enough. As long as the game fail to manage Sims to have long flirty interaction, ask for sex change will never happened. May be almost never happened, only luck... But I don't know.

 

 

I think the whole concept that turbodriver created is actually quite realistic. Just like the way normal people and couple do in real world. It's a very well thought.

Now this is a really good idea, i really loved it! And adding autonomy to it, we could see NPCs doing that when in high desire. Turbo could implement that as a function but it will still need a animator to make the poses.

Now this is a really good idea, i really loved it! And adding autonomy to it, we could see NPCs doing that when in high desire. Turbo could implement that as a function but it will still need a animator to make the poses.

I'm sure plenty of animators will contribute to this, also... Many existing solo teases and masturbations could act as a beacon

It's been present for a while but the fix is more trouble than the bug itself,

 

Just need to close the menu, then re open and it all comes back

This is a known issue. I don't think there is anything to be done about it tbh.. Simply close the menu and open it again.

My sims are often naked while at home, which means they're almost always erect as they're usually in the same room as each other. It would be great to be able to disable this so they're only erect when necessary.

What are the odds of getting birth control added for females? Perhaps some treatment to get a moodlet for a week that prevents pregnancy. Condoms are not as useful in large households when autonomy and a 5% chance is active (can't keep track of everyone all the time.) This would make it easier having to go for their pill once a week instead of every time they have sex.

Part of planned sex autonomy is other Sims asking if they can join sex, so starting a teasing interaction will attract other nearby Sims even without line of sight. You just need more teasing interactions and it should work somewhat like you explain.

 

I haven't figure out yet anything clever for submission-style gameplay.

The flirting interactions triggering sex is just a supplementary system for sex autonomy. Sims will trigger autonomy from any romantic interactions. Autonomy Level, flirty mood, and desire level will increase the chance of it happening. Besides that, a targeting system will look for a compatible pair of Sims and an appropriate location to start sex where once again, autonomy level, mood, desire level and few other things decide if they will have sex.

 

Sex autonomy is aimed to be realistic, but High Autonomy Level and the Hypersexual lot trait can turn it into crazy autonomy.

Next full update will have erections work a little bit differently. More realistically. I think that should work for you.

September/October will probably have a total pregnancy overhaul which will most likely include more birth control options.

You can disable nudity autonomy so Sims won't undress on their own and enable dressing up after sex in settings.

Have you checked in the game options, section other that mods and script mods are still checked?

 

The game used to uncheck these settings when updated.
