Is there a way to do this with winrar? Because i have no idea how to use this total commander thing (if someone would explain it to me pls pm me). And what would be the difference in one big file?

Posted

I dled with jdownloader whitout problem and used 7zip to extract... I didn't have to merge... Extracted the individual files one after the other °.°

As deathman said if a part is corrupted it won't fix anything to merge :s

Total commander can split and merge big files. Imagine if you had to dl a 2 gig 7z and at the end it turns out to be corrupted. When merging files it usually tells you which file is corrupted and you only need to dl that one again.

1st. Thank you pichuchiu for uploading this costumes pack. Send thanks to Alan if you meet him somehow. & thank you for all the contributors too. Already pressed that Thanks button :D

2. For anyone who keep getting random crash & sure it's not install order problem or mod conflicts. You can try your luck to optimize the BSA file or texture files (whatever) with this program Optimizer Textures by AdPipino (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12801). For NVIDIA users; I think you can't resize down below 1024 size or it will crash (citation needed). Of course please don't forget to BACKUP your mods (Data folder?) before doing this. The mention program have backup capability. I manage to use "Abyss Walker" costume after optimize the BSA, it crash me before. Suggestion, if you're not adventurous, don't thick Official BSA to be optimize.

Note: I believe this include to those encounter "Out of Memory" error box. Personal opinion; except you're super perfectionist of hires textures you won't notice the difference after downgrading the textures. I have ideas why it cause crashing for some of you, but I think it's not appropriate to mention it here & no, my mind is not related to modder or uploader fault, they've done superb jobs.

Hope this help. I'm sorry if it don't. I'm sorry my 1st post here seems too long. NOT I'm sorry if you're not doing backup, you've been warn. :P

Ok' date=' I actually made this a couple of weeks ago, since asianboy never came back. It places all the armors in different smithing categories. Also rebalanced their weight and protection to be more on par with regular skyrim armors, in fact none of them are as good as dragon armor except for obvious stuff like the alduin armor and some other dragon looking armors. Most armors that looked like clothing to me are classified as clothing and can be found found for smithing under Misc. I also took into account how much skin they actually covered and made up values that are less than regular skyrim armors in some cases, but it's not too bad since I use killer kleo's skimpy armor pack so my regular skyrim armors are already somewhat skimpy, plus I took their base values depending on the material they were classified into, which lead to some funny stuff like light dwarven and ebony armors that weight like 10 to 15 pounds. All(hopefully) Heavy gauntlets have the gauntlet perk assigned that allows them to get the unarmed bonus damage. The recipes are unchanged from the 1 iron ingot requirement, I may get around to changing that but it's unlikely.

So yeah, the short is that the armors aren't much better than the top line vanilla skyrim armors, and some of them are in the iron and hide categories so you can't max smith them. But who cares, the game is really easy anyway, and looking good is more important.

There's also some leveled lists for the outfits that really have no impact in the game right now even if you import them with wrye bash. But that's there because I was actually planning on adding the armors to bandits, and forsworn and other random enemies. I do this with every individual armor mod I download. But I got distracted and there's a lot of armors so I haven't gotten around to doing that yet.

Thanks again to pichuchiu and Alan for bringing us this amazing armor compilation. Actually helps a lot for preventing reaching the dreaded mod limit.

Ooooh I love this! Finally a version of the esp that turns the clothes into actual clothes like they should be ^^ But the smithing recipes are still the same (iron ingot) have you thought about making them a little more varied?

and, as I unpack now?

If I remove the first file, the .001, then WinZip says that this Progam could not open the file.

Don't remove any extensions. Just extract the first file (with them all in the same directory). I've attached a screenshot of how I did it with 7zip. I'm pretty sure winwrar can do it more or less the same way I've just forgotten exactly how. 7zip seems better and doesn't nag me to buy the pay version.

This was helpful in me getting the armors to work thanks for the help with out me having to waste everyone's time asking a question that was already answered, and also Great Mod, Thanks to the Uploader of this Version and Alan for creating the Original mod that combined so many great armors together! <3

I love this mod with a passion.

So many great Armors.

However the CTD problem is getting in the way of everything D;

And for me its not on a specific armor either.

It seems like at any given time if i equip of of the armors after a while, it CTDs. i have no idea why.

if it were a specific Armor i can just not wear it. but ill equip that armor and CTD, then reload, equip it again, and dont CTD.

its very weird ;/

I think that's because of Skyrim's bad memory management. The more stuff you have in (weapons, armors etc) the more unstable it becomes. Not sure if it's like that for everybody but this is what I've noticed with packs that include large numbers of weapons and/or armor.

Yah it happened a lot to me too! But I read somewhere that using texture optimizer helps and it worked! I simply optimised the BSA on the default settings and the crashing stopped without any loss of quality (that I could see ^^)

Yup, and alot of the textures may not be divisible by 2, which is a big no-no, at least I thought it was.

I have only the same problem.

CTD after one hour and when I start the game CTD´s coming back.

first, I want testing with the bsa-tool

Must I install the 2.2 patch, when I have the big bsa-file?

CTD´s are coming back. But the tool is nice.

I love these armors, but I am trying to increase breast size without use of skeleton_female.nif (as I find it causes uneven breast sizes and makes the breasts look worse) so I extracted the BSA and used nifscope on the Drow Witch robe curias0 and curias1 I found the breast nodes and increased their scale to 2.4, in nifscope I saw this increase, so I saved the files as nif's, however when I load skyrim, there doesnt seem to be any change (I am by no means good with nifscope but I wonder what I can do to achieve this)

Or is it simply not possible to do without editing skeleton_female.nif?

I would be able to live with it if editing skeleton_female.nif didnt effect the nude body aswell

Dann reden wir Deutsch. Nimm am besten Win 7-zip.

Einfach googeln und bei Chip.de oder Computerbild saugen. Die sind sicher.

Yeah' date=' I've thought about changing the recipes but I haven't had time to do it. Also I didn't change the prices on all the armors, since I was just doing this kind of hastily.

Is it possible to make these armors available for purchase in a store, or random encounter?

Adding the armors to leveled lists for stores isn't too hard, just adding them to chest is equally easy.

Adding them to leveled lists for encounters is quite a lot harder, since most if not all of the armors don't have a different model for males, and trust me you don't want to see a guy wearing the female model of the armor.

The easy solution though is just fixing the problem and assigning a male model. you can just set the male models to steel armor or ebony, or just any armor you want. Of course this only changes the model but the stats will be the same on males or females. Since there's a lot of them it's just a bit more time consuming, but not impossible. After that you have to add them to leveled list.

Another solution, and this is what I usually do myself with any armor mod I download, is create a duplicate of the base encBanditfemale, or encVampirefemale, or whatever enemy you want to see with the armor and edit its inventory to have an outfit set with the new armors. Then you just add this duplicated bandit to the same leveled lists of the original bandit. This way you avoid any males ending up wearing the armors.

In the version of the plugin I modified I actually created leveledlists with the full armor sets, this LL can be used to output into another LL (I called it YYBBP) that would output into an outfit (YBBP, just one Y), that would have the result of outputting a random outfit from the set into any NPC it is assigned an outfit for. In the version of the plugin I uploaded both YYBBP and YBBP are empty though and nobody uses the YBBP outfit anyway. So yeah, I sort of intended to add the armors to random bandits or necromancers and whatnot. You can even fine tune it a bit more by making more outfits, so you can have necromancers show up only with stuff classified as clothing, or vampires only in heavy armor or any variation you desire pretty much. If you do the easy solution and assign male models, you can even go so far as to edit the base outfit for bandit, forsworn, or whatever other random enemy faction and just have any females of that faction show up with those armors. Of course by editing the base outfit the males will show up as wearing the armors but with the male models assigned to them. So yeah, probably not a good idea if you still want to be able to tell what faction or how heavily armored a bandit is.

You can also add pieces or armor individually to random loot leveled list if you want to find them as random enchanted rewards and stuff. But to get them with a random enchantment you also have to pretty much assign the possible enchantments by sort of duplicating them and it's a different kind of headache, so just enchanting then in game is better and faster.

Leveled lists are very neat that way, and the current version of wryebash can handle them automatically just fine.

(In the next update, please delete all the files in this fix.)

i don't get what this means

delete which files? you mean replace them?

also the mediafire just doesn't work. when i press the download button nothing comes up until i try refreshing like 10 times. and i have to do this 8 times because there are 8 parts. and the rapidshare or whatever is way way too slow... 80kb/whatever but mediafire gives 1.50mb per when it lets me download that is.

why don't we just upload it on skyrim Nexus? it will make it so much easier to download for everyone

Thank you so much

Big Trouble. The path from sprigganarmor is:

c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\data\textures\nalim\sprigganarmor\spriggan.dds

I found many mystic things.

I have the BSA completely disassembled and checked the paths in Nifskope.

There is a lot of work. I'll see if I can you create a list of the errors.
