Zanan Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 You are old when you feel old. The numbers don't matter.Want to feel young again? Do things that make you feel younger. Want to not care, practice not caring . Very basic to say but I recommend steady physical exercise and a decent diet, that'll give you an extra 10 or 20 years before it kicks in most of the time. Source? Numerous jobs in healthcare over the years. Finding out what you are allergic to and avoiding it might give you another 5 or 10, certainly give you more comfort not to be eating it. Reducing stress will probably buy you another 10, these are the factors, accidents aside that will age you faster or slower in my experience. Be aware of rule 13. No marketing posts are allowed here. The link was removed. Next time you will have exactly what rule 13 says: instant ban. @CPU Its expensive though so mostly I settle for vitamin B supplements, drinks like purdeys are even better for a quick fix, which helps get oxygen to your brain to wake you up. I'm mid 30's if it matters, but on alpha brain I can do a 16 hour shift when its called for (two jobs) and not feel mentally tired, physically I am dead but mentally I am awake.Biggest tip however, is if your back, or neck is clicking a lot, or you feel stiff etc you need to sort that out, move it or lose it. That's what it comes down to, unless you can put up with detoxing a lot to help. Massage can work, sports massage is decent to get the body moving but if you are really sore you might want an easier one.
DeathToCaesar Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 35 going on 70. Quite like knowing a few things, don't miss being strung out and in trouble all the time.
Sano Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 kinda, the thing is I do feel an emptiness now. Like no purpose or something like that.
allsunday Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 You feel old not due to age but mostly when you know there are things you want to do but haven't done. It's more a mental state than a physical one... at least until the arthritis kicks in. I feel like I'm 20 and constantly need to remind myself that I'm not... which could be a good or bad thing depending on circumstances. Mostly a good thing, though. Another great thing I have going is the fact that people still say I look like I'm 23 when I'm actually 33. I want to be pimp like Johnny Depp or George Clooney even when I turn 50. That's still many years from now and when you look at it that way, time is on your side.
Chaos63 Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Video games took care of that little existential tussle for me. I imagine that when I'm on my deathbed, my last thoughts will probably be pity that I couldn't play that awesome new game that just came out. Do I ever wish I could go back? Heck no, the graphics were awful back then!
Slammer64 Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Just wait till you get to be my age theflexeo1, I'm literally 3 times older than you,I just don't feel old, but ancient at times.

Guest Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 I turn 45 in about 15 minutes so yeah. Happy birthday!
Lady Horus Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 I'm still not used to saying I'm 30. It feels really weird lol! I don't feel old though... feel the same way I did 10 years ago. But wiser, of course (or at least I like to think so).

pinky6225 Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Felt quite old the other day, i was doing some "personal grooming" down below and i noticed most of the hairs down there have turned grey Strangely i haven't had a single grey hair on my head although i'm not sure which i'd be more comfortable with
ToJKa Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Considering i just laughed my ass off (almost literally) to someone making funny noises and faces on youtube, no. I'm still a thirty year old thirteen year old Birthdays have less and less impact the older you get. Only thought about it a couple of times today and have done nothing any different than any other day. Yeah, i turned 35 earlier this the week. Mom sent a text, otherwise a typical day.
rahrahrah Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 42 in December, though I run with the "only as old as the woman you are feeling" which makes me a more reasonable 30
MsOtaku Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 I am in my mid 20s but approaching the big 3 Oh. its 2016 and yet somehow I still think 2005 was just a few years ago... Am I just being delusional or is this happening to anyone else as well? One moment I am thinking 2005, well that's not too old and then it clicks... dude that's 11 years ago. You're not alone. I don't feel my age until someone asks..... I'm young at heart but, when a birthday gets close I want to ask for an oxygen tank and a walking stick--the latter mostly to hit people with.
bjornk Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 I sometimes watch people on TV or on YT and think that they look kinda old, so they must be as old as I am... and then I learn that they are at least a decade younger than me... Those are the moments I feel old...
mercplatypus Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 I usually don't but there are times when some one says or does something that make me feel like a hobbled old man. The first time was talking with a bunch of teens at a gas station as we were waiting in line. The band Nirvana came up and none of the kids there knew who Kurt Kobain was even though they said they loved the band and he was singing the song on the radio. He had died before most of them were born. The last time was watching the latest Captain America movie when Spider-Man asked if anyone knew "that really old movie Return of the Empire."
VDracul Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 I'm 37 years old, but arthritis, and the rest of the long ass list of health issues that I have, I feel like 50+ sometimes. That's at age 37, what it will be when I actually turn 50? Holy shit!

That's at age 37, what it will be when I actually turn 50? Holy shit! At 50 you will laugh about what you were thinking when you were 37. With a big smile, and a bunch of more confidence of how extremely durable the human body is.
Guest Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Its my birthday today just turned 28 and regret not pursuing other interests sooner, playing online videogames makes me see how immature younger gamers are..... what are memes ughh disgusting.. im dying help
Guest Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 I wrote something, but it was deleted. Happy Birthday to anyone who wants it. People have computer parts older than you, feel better. Things that are older than you: My dictionary a file box I spray painted (badly) My late foot (RIP) Turtles The hot news lady "SYSOPs" The hot woman at the checkout counter (Did I mention the news lady?)
