Melinon Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 31, but I feel like I should be 21. It's pretty depressing and demoralizing actually.
Ailsa Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Fascinating reading here I reached Level 61 in August and I do sometimes feel old
xartom Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Yes, closer I get to 30 the more I feel hopelessly old and mortal. I need a walker and to watch my health.
ざいあ Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Well, it seems I'm on the right place here. people in their mid 20's. Oh god.. but I still feel like 19
Yotix Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 I'm 37 years old, but arthritis, and the rest of the long ass list of health issues that I have, I feel like 50+ sometimes. That's at age 37, what it will be when I actually turn 50? Holy shit! At 50 you will laugh about what you were thinking when you were 37. With a big smile, and a bunch of more confidence of how extremely durable the human body is. By that age, you also get a chance to learn how amazingly frail the human body can be. Like, I got a pulmonary embolism in summer basically from playing MMOs and not walking about enough for 18 hours straight. I'm 46. It didn't damage anything but pulmomary embolisms kill more people than car crashes. Basically, a blood clot forms in your deep leg vein, then bits of it break off, get pumped through the heart, and into arteries, where they get stuck. If you're lucky like me, that only causes painful colics and pneumonia, as well as possibly harming part of the heart. If you're less lucky, you just fall of your bicycle or keel over in a meeting room because the clot blocks something major so first you suffocate and panic, then your heart stops. Update: I just got fired, my employer's been losing money for months, now they gotta act. Feels weird to be looking for a job while on blood-thinning medication and wearing thrombosis stockings. Update: Found a new job within days, currently busy with all the paperwork and shit involved in moving to a different country.
bjornk Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 I am waiting for a good death... My time has come. I am old. Too old to become chief. It would be wrong for me to take wives at this age. So I will die. Malacath has given me a vision of a glorious death. I am to wait here until it finds me. As you can see, it has not yet arrived.
Farinata of Oblivion Posted November 9, 2016 Posted November 9, 2016 Yes all the time, I'm 27 and I fear the approach of 30 as if I'm in some dystopia where they cart you off to a death camp at that age.
