There is an option to include/exclude followers from commenting. However it doesn't seem to apply to Serana. She is commenting on the PC although I have disabled the corresponding option.

Is there any way to make Sexist Guards recognize Serana as a follower?

Not sure if it already has been said here, but SSE really doesn't like .bsa files. All I had to do to make this work for me, is extract the .bsa and now the mod works like a charm, mcm and all.

Zip included, if you're to lazy to do it yourself. ;)

Excellent.

Does anyone know if there's a convenient way to adjust the frequency of NPC comments. I like them, but would prefer them to be much less frequent. Is it something that can be adjusted in xEdit (and if so, what should I be looking for)?

The very first MCM setting, "Chance to talk", controls this.  I recommend the default 5% or lower.

Thanks! :)

I saw the one that controls the PC's commentary, but must have missed it for the NPCs somehow.

turns out that the reason I missed that setting is that it's not there in the SSE version I have

Ah.  I wouldn't recommend switching mid-game, but next around (if no one has made an updated SE version by then), you can use this one if you just extract everything from the BSA file and then delete the BSA.  SE doesn't like LE BSA files, but the rest of the mod (including the BSA contents) is compatible.

Does anyone else have a problem with guards constantly forcegreeting you but with no actual thing they want from you? They run up to you as if you have a bounty but all they do is drop a normal line, but if you leave they chase after you. Might be something with SL Survival?

This mod just does random comments, not force greetings.

Weird, I've only installed this one mod since the last time I played

Maybe something got bugged, I gave myself a 5 gold bounty and paid it off and now I'm fine

Thanks though

FormIDs nested in 03012842 through 0305282B remain unchanged. There's not only wayyyyy too much dialogue here, but there's also sooooo many mistakes. I cannot deal with this unless I get sufficiently bored again, though I know seeing these mistakes in-game will feel a little immersion-breaking.

I'm making a second post as this update partially changes narrator and heroines comments to be present-tense rather than past-tense. All other comments maintain their original tense. Other changes to non-comment, NPC dialogue lines reflect the previous post's noted changes. If you would like consistency in your game, or would like to continue dialogue improvements on a base of consistency, use the previously uploaded file.

Does this work on the LE version too?

Would those extracted files just go in the same place the BSA file was? In it's own folder? Also, what program would you recommend to extract these files?

Yes.  Be sure to delete or rename the BSA after extracting the files.

Bethesda Archive Extractor will do the job.  It works for LE and SE archives.

seeing that @Nuascura started fixing the dialogues in this mod, i decided to chip in by building on top of their work. i haven't gone through all of the dialogue lines, but i did edit a lot of them.

changelog:

- i rewrote tons of dialogue lines from scratch either by coming up with new ideas or reiterating the original meaning.

- i did my best to increase the quality of the dialogues, fix grammar, punctuation and have them sound a bit less porny in some cases.

- i edited conditions and/or added new ones. this means that a lot of dialogue lines are now male only and female NPCs will not use them. i think this fits the idea of the mod to keep the nastier stuff male only. i made sure this was reflected appropriately in female only lines. i also tried to make the mod male PC compatible, but there are some oddities here and there. some lines NPCs just say even though conditions shouldn't allow them to. for this reason i think the mod is still more geared towards a female PC and not 100% compatible with a male one.

- i added some new dialogue lines. it's pretty fun coming up with ideas what a male Nord would say about your female Dunmer character, for example. a lot could be added to make it even cooler and more varied.

now keep in mind that i haven't gone through everything in the mod, reasons being that it's a bit too much and i am feeling like i am starting to repeat myself when writing. the ones that i leave unedited for now are the devious devices follower dialogues and player comments. however i think that with a bit of additional work this mod could enjoy its 2nd life and become ready for a new voicepack. i am also not a native english guy, so there surely are some mistakes and weird things here and there.

I wonder if it is possible to voice the player comments lines. Spank that Ass and Thief for example use kind of a "dummy NPC" for player dialogue, which makes it possible to create voiced lines.

Sexist Guards seems to take a different approach as there is no dummy NPC in the mod.
