Talis22 Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 A query for our more experienced modders out there: Is there a value somewhere in the MCM or on Xedit I could tweak to make the remarks from this mod less frequent? Its been a fun mod to have, and I recently added the AI voicepack with surprisingly good results. However, I've noticed that the result can get quite cacophonous in rooms with large numbers of actors in close proximity, like the Simple Slavery room or an inn - especially since I also use Populated Cities. I like the mod, but it would be a lot better if I could just tone down the rate a little bit.

Unfortunately, the popular one that many SE players seem to be using is derived from the next-to-last version of this mod. The final version added the comment frequency setting: What's New in Version 2.91 Released October 17, 2018 2.91b Added an MCM option to help control the frequency of comments from this mod. Rather than use an outdated port, I would suggest simply using the latest LE version and extracting the files from the BSA. That has worked for other SE players, and it has exactly what you want. The BSA file is the only thing that makes the LE version incompatible with SE. 1

amolstormes Posted November 13, 2024 Posted November 13, 2024 I looked through the mod in SSE edit and found many dialogue lines that were never used in game. Like anal/vaginal/oral rape start dialogue or rape orgasm dialogue. Can someone tell me how to get those comments to start playing?

I eventually got rape-related player dialogue. But this dialog only started after the sex scene was already finished. The dialog continued afterwards until I disabled the Player Rape dialog checkbox... Judging from other comments here in this thread, there seems to exist an incompatibility between Sexist Guards player rape comments and SLSO and maybe with mods triggering SexLab events (Prison Alternative in my case). On the other hand, Spank That Ass player and NPC comments seem to work fine during sex scenes. Therefore this incompatibility might be solvable somehow. Edited December 28, 2024 by Gudulba 1
Nickolkiin Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 (edited) was the male PC version ever completed and finished for this mod? Edited December 29, 2024 by Nickolkiin
Goblets Posted January 5, 2025 Posted January 5, 2025 (edited) Have i understood it correct that this is the main mod. i see it in MCM and i can see subtitle comments from npcs coming from this mod, buti do not have any voice sounds. The sounds i need to download is from here? The issue was 7zip was to be used but it did not work, instead it worked with winrar O_O very strange but its working now, still i do wonder if the mod above ^ is all voice sounds for this mod or is there other voice sounds mods? It'll work and I'm still using it. That download is only for Sexist Guards. And is intended for Skyrim SE. Unpacked from the .bsa archive it is usable form LE. It all depends on your comprehension and modding skills. By the way, it isn't the Only voice pack for Sexist Guards. Several talented modders have released voice packs here. Some, Executabal for one, are of better quality than my product. Just google "Skyrim SE {mod name} voice packs site:loverslab.com", without the quotes. Nexus, Schaaken mods, and other sites have voice packs as well. 1
oberonob Posted January 14, 2025 Posted January 14, 2025 (edited) Great mod. I installed the ported SE version linked above - someone ported 2.91 but not 2.91b - and it does not have the chance to talk setting in the MCM. Everyone talks way too much. How would I go about uninstalling or downgrading to 2.91b? Is it safe to uninstall mid-save? I'm not super comfortable uninstalling the SSE port - would anyone know how or be kind enough to make a patch that adds the "Chance to Talk" setting to the MCM, without having to reinstall a different version? Or simply a patch that reduces all the talk in 2.91 by say 75%? At this point in my save I just roleplay someone cursed by hearing the thoughts of all the awful people in Skyrim and slowly going mad 😅 Edited January 15, 2025 by oberonob 1

That chance is implemented using a global variable that's referenced in 57 places, so it might be more work that someone would care to do for a patch. However, you have another good option, which is to update to the LE version of 2.91b and unpack (and then delete) the BSA file as described a few posts up. It's easy, and just a couple minutes of work. Since you've already installed 2.91, as a precaution, I suggest first toggling off all dialog options in the MCM and saving before making the switch. 1
oberonob Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 Ah, gotcha. The last time I tried to repack a BSA I screwed things up completely... I'm not sure I want to mess with it on my current playthrough. 😵💫

oberonob Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 (edited) Okay, I can confirm that downgrading from the 2.91 port to the 2.91b unpacked LE works on a current save game without corruption. I disabled the scripts in the MCM first, clicked the button in MCM to reset the quests, and reinstalled the LE version with unpacked BSA, and the "Chance to Talk" slider does appear and works. Here's the unpacked version to save anyone the step. the only other question I have is whether you can change the voice of your player character from one race to another - I'm a nord, but would prefer the voice of a woodelf, etc? I would ask the author of the voice pack you're using about that. Another option might be to just turn off player comments (as I did). The rape comments are all mostly the same, and the situational ones (brr, the snow is cold) are only interesting for a while before they become repetitive. Beyond that, despite messing with settings, my character would say things that were just out of character. As I recall, the Submissive setting has the character express enjoyment during things like being raped by a draugr, but she might merely like bondage and submissive but consensual sex with the living. Can't fault the mod author, because it's hard to fine tune things like that for every player, but I decided that I know what my character is thinking so I'd rather just hear from NPCs. 1

Nickolkiin Posted January 19, 2025 Posted January 19, 2025 (edited) I'd like a version of this that has the comments directed at NPC followers rather than a female PC. even when they aren't under your group, I have several mods that have followers work and idle in cities and it would be immersive to see them harassed by other NPCs while they are on assignments or just trying to relax at a inn/bar. additionally it would improve immersion in mods like the new follower slaver mod. is this possible? could it be integrated using this mod Chatty NPCs and Followers at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community Edited January 20, 2025 by Nickolkiin 1
oberonob Posted January 24, 2025 Posted January 24, 2025 I'd love an additional aspect of this mod where the beast races say really nasty stuff about the Nords and elves rather than being so polite. I think it's a fantastic mod for immersion and makes me laugh all the time.

oberonob Posted February 19, 2025 Posted February 19, 2025 No, Casandor. But it looks like the Guard speech remains unchanged - they still talk way too much. The others work with the slider though 2
