Wondering if anyone may have some insight to an issue I have just encountered.

Recently upgraded all my mods. Everything appears to be running ok. Started a new game with 7.2.4 full. Remember seeing the install scripts in the LAL cell, but never thought any more. Tried to enslave a couple of NPC's and couldn't!

When I open the MCM it says "options for 7.2.3" at the top and the only entry says "mod: stopped"

Nothing can be clicked on, and I have no idea what went wrong.

Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks.

after surviving irma, we just got power back yesterday here

Ok I have reinstalled papyrus and I got a HUGE logfile out. Seems like there are some files missing.

Here is a link to google drive with all the logs. (I just uploaded entire scripts folder) also I am running all the latest versions of everything.

looks like either you uninstalled some mods or you went thru mod updates mid-play-thru and your save isn't compatible with the newer version of those mods due to the scripts removed from them

Thank you, I will try to make a new save and see if it helps, I do not want to have to play from the scratch though, any way I could take my old character to the new save? Skills, level and gear would suffice.

keep the save, if a new save fixes your issues then you might be able to completely uninstall the mods you've recently updated (scripts included, not just disable it) then clean the save with papyrus data transfer from nexus. once the save is stable again try reinstalling those mods again, but if you continue to get those problems after reinstalling then you might need to revert to the older version. it might be an issue with the update for example i think you're the second person to report an issue with fnis sexy move recently so that could be a pattern there, i quit using fnis sexy move ages ago for those reasons.

good to hear that worked, you should find clean save directions on the first page of this thread within the first couple posts

if the need for an older version comes up i'll need to have my pc mailed to me and pull it off my old hard drive...what version are you looking for and to what purpose

i kept them all, just not with me since i moved to florida

Excuse me, is there a reward system to reward slave with sex or other things?

that was a feature planned for version 5.1 that had to be shelved for issues with the way it acquired the slave names causing instability between versions and eventually causing other bugs on clean saves

at some point i'd like to look more into reviving and fixing that feature but atm it doesn't seem feasible

Quick suggestion for letting slaves go with high submission: Have them beg to stay.

Yeah, that's it.

if i'm not mistaken that was 1 of the possible outcomes based on the slave's voice type

each of the slave get their response dialogs based on their voice type without a generic response to fill in slaves that don't match the chosen voice types which is why some slave's won't have a response dialog to complete the release when asked

could use the entire folder but v7.1.9 should do it, the other guy said it worked fine.

confirmed the mcm display bug on the full install file...for now you should be able to fix it using the update file posted directly below it for that same version and i'll have to fix the full install later from 7zip

when that's done you should be able to click the word stopped from mcm to start it

confirmed the mcm display bug on the full install file...for now you should be able to fix it using the update file posted directly below it for that same version and i'll have to fix the full install later from 7zip

when that's done you should be able to click the word stopped from mcm to start it

Updated as per instruction - now reads correctly, however, cannot click on the stopped - the comment at bottom reads as per the leash collar? Attached a screenie., Have not had time to try on a new game, so will do that tonight. Hoping I can recover in this save tho.

Hello. Thanks for the great mod.

I have an issue which I can't seem to bypass.

After having a slave follow me around for 24 hours ingame the npc loses its name and I can't interact with it anymore.

It still follows me but yeah doesnt say or do anything anymore and the "Slave info" spell seems to be the only thing working.

Using the MCM menu to change it's name helps but for like 5 minutes or until I fast travel then it happens again.

Tried kill, resurrect, enable, disable commands with no difference.

Apart from Pahe with its requirements I only have the Immersive Patrols and Burning skies mod.

This seems to happen more often to people using Mia's Lair in conjunction with this mod. Do you have Mia's lair installed?

This usually only happens if you ask a slave to fight for you, if you ask them to stay back and stop fighting... they should stop losing their names.

I have been trying to track down this problem myself for a few months now, but there are very few things that seem to make much sense. But similar to you, I have found few reliable answers so far. But since it only happens to slaves who are fighting for you, it may be an issue with follower alias handling.

I'm not sure but i believe this still happens even without miaslair installed. It's a long time ago that i uninstalled miaslair but it still seemed to happen from time to time.

Installed Mia's Lair again and uninstalled it with Mod Manager to make sure it removes all the files from my pc.

Doing a test run to see if it happens again. Looking good so far. Will update my response if I encounter the same issue.

You can use a free program called Notepad++ to view the Papyrus in a much more readable format.

no miaslair isn't the only cause for the problem, but aside from miaslair the only known cause has been something wrong with the other mods installed. i've never used miaslair cuz it was reported to have problems with so many mods, but even i used to have this problem

of slaves randomly losing names and needing to be renamed in order to to communicate with them.

unfortunately its been so long since i've had to deal with that issue i can't remember what fixed it or what combination of things fixed it. i know using the dialogs of the "my house is your house" mod on slaves would give that result as well as any mod that alters the skse or jcontainer files

in addition i think we ran some tests during the early stages of the renamer before it went public and found that the number of scripts running on the slave would cause it, major cause for it was found to be certain devious devices enchanted or cursed plugs that would trigger on the slaves

unfortunately thats the drawback to updating your mods mid-play-thru, if a moder removing a script from a previous version the new version becomes incompatible with older saves and the only way to continue playing is downgrade the updated mods until that save is done Or completely uninstall the updated mods then clean the save again and then reinstall them..usually more hassle than its worth

Yes I get that. I have no idea on the looong list of warnings and errors. Never had DA installed ever, but there are a number of references to it.

Despite the size the game is stable and looks good. Hover around the 250 active mods mark and usually play for 4+ hours at a time with almost no CTD's.

This is the first time pahe has not worked. Appreciate you taking the time to have a look - I see the pahe entries at the bottom but have no idea what any of it means.

I'll start a new game and check straight after and report back.

Ok, on a new game pahe loads in the LAL cell. All menus appear and I can select and alter settings. Will push into game and find someone to enslave.

Must have somehow broken it in that other save?!?

the death alternative references mentioned in the log are poorly written "soft dependencies" so that the intention and general game play for that mod will seem as tho its not needed, but as far as the papyrus engine running everything as it should with that many mods the soft depencies need to stop looking for that mod to be running.
