I still crash to desktop so much.  I am sick of it.  I can't even do anything right now.  I am sick of messing with it.  I am taking a break.  I don't even have any idea what's doing it.  I don't even know where to start in the Papyrus log.  I've been messing with this crap for 5 almost 6 days straight.  I am taking a break.  When I stop being so annoyed at Skyrim...I will try to get the log and hope someone won't be a dick and help me figure out what's causing my crashes

i'll help when I can this would have been better days ago before you had to take a break from it....

reading papyrus logs and fixing skyrim is something I've been doing for years, but I need to see the logs

...but so help me God...if one more person tells me I need to use Mod Organizer, I am gonna reach thru the farking screen and choke a bitch....

  • i don't use mo or nmm or any other mod manager
  • it makes my job that much easier if you're not using any managers

I figured out one of my main problems with crashes before.  I mistakenly used 4k texture mods.  My computer obviously cannot run them and it freaked out.  I didn't realize that was the problem  My old computer could handle a the armor mods with 4k textures...but this one for some reason can't.  *shrug*  It's got a beefier CPU and GPU...but I dunno.  It just crapped out and had all kinds of memory allocation errors.  Once I removed all the 4k texture armors it was fine...But now I have the CTDs...no errors...just CTD.  I am sure the info will be in the Papyrus logs...but I have to re-enable that, and I will grab the logs and see what I can find out.  I just don't want to look at Skyrim right now.

Bugs me tho.  This computer SHOULD run the game better.  I moved from a AMD FX 350 with 8 GB RAM and a GeForce 640 to an intel i7 6700 with 16GB RAM and a GeForce 730.  I am having more annoyances with this computer then I did on the old one I accidentally murdered due to my failing eyesight.

the 640 can out perform the 730, if you had the 4gb vid ram i had on mine - the 730 won't have that.

700 series is a newer line of vid cards, but the second digit is the quality in the card for that series.

when you upgrade from a 640 to a 700 series, you need to find a 740 or better card to get the same quality you had on the older 640

Well..I burned the 640 when I attempted to upgrade.   :(

See...when I discovered my eyesight has degraded too far to work on PCs anymore...I was trying to change out my motherboard.  I killed a CPU, and somehow in the process burned the 640.  The best replacement I could find was the 730.  It's a temporary fix until I can afford something better, like the replacement computer.  See, I have PTSD and depression.  When I killed the computer, I started spiraling.  Things got pretty bad.  My wife and I saw only one course of action.  I bought the best pre-built computer for the money we had available at the time.  WHich was this HP piece of crap.  I changed out the PSU, and added the video card, so I could at least run games.  I couldn't do squat with the built in i530 video...hehe.  Also I wanted my 4TB hard drive.

I didn't want to get an low numbered series video card from nVidia, but my options were limited at the time.  It was either that 730 for $80 or cards I am not sure I could run with the 550 Watt PSU I have.  I think I am pushing it now.  If I go any higher, I might have to get a new PSU again.

the 640 I had only had 2GB.

This one has 2GB as well.

IF I could afford it, I would go for this card.  It should work with my PSU.

If I ever get my Disability sorted out, I am going to get a much better computer.

Completely missed that one...oops.  hehe

That one is only slightly out of my price range right now.  I might be able to swing it...Hmm...Need to make sure it will run with my 550 watt psu tho.

I have an Amazon Visa card I am trying not to use, because I don't have an actual income right now.  My mother-in-law gives me a little money to help out every month until I get Disability sorted...but it isn't much more then bills...which is why it takes a while to save up for things.

Well as long as you don't have the Time for doing a 'read me' Maybe we can do one herer you just have to collect the pieces and put them together. Because I'm new to the mod and there we could expect a lot of changes  in the future here is some sort of a start up. This is just What I (think I) found out so far: This is not the Bible, and it is supposed to be corrected if I got something wrong.

Trainig states:

Submission : All kinds of trainig will have an effect here. The higher this training stat is, the more your Slave is willing do for you.

Anger Training: (under construction) As far as I unbderstand it, It will grow with the amount of sexual punishment.

Combat Training: Will grow as long as the Slave is forced to fight for you. Can be improved throu punishment after the 'Not in the mood to fight...' dialog

Effects: Make the Slave showing more engagement on tzhe battlefield.

Respect Training: Will grow with punishment throu the 'Told you to address me correctly...' dialog

Effect: The slaves dialogs become more 'submissive'

Pose Trainig: Will grow with all sexual interactions after the 'I'm going to make sure you stay here' dialog.

Effect is rather cosmetic now(I think so... I might be wrong)

Sex Training: Will grow with every sexual interaction. Can be improved throu the 'I want to have sex' dialog.

Effect: Higher levels offer more options for sexual interactions.

Fear Training: (under construction) As far as I understand it: It will grow with the punishment by whipping.

Morality: (Under construction) As far as I understand it, it is comparaable to the Morality of other followers.

- Current Mood: (under Construction) As far as I understand it: neutral is good. To keep it at this level you have to find a balance between sexual punishment on one side and whipping on the other.

Sorry for bad grammar, wrong spelling. I'm not a native speaker and my english is a bit... I had my last lesson about 20 Years ago....

I wouldn't mind seeing Morality tied in with Defeat's settings where you can command followers to do things.

Morality and mood determines how willing the slave is to follow orders under the "command follower" feature.

Or even a mood called Love where the slave will do anything for you available if you have all stats maxed to 100...hehe

Ok, that was it a version mismatch. all is good now and is working as intended. Should i remove the Frankenmod as not to cause anymore confusion?

Is there an easy way to add the fear training and the mood visible with the slave info spell?

Is it right, that the posing is developing so slowly (i have set severity to 100 this seems to make training faster, but it does not seem to affect the posetraining) ?

And How do I get the $XXX things out of the MCM menu?

This is what i have put together so far. Could someone confirm that?

Dialogs:

As soon as you Talk to a NPC in Fleeing/Injured/Bleedout/Sleep/Paralyzed state, there are two dialog options:

1. 'Be quiet and put this on' This will allow you to take the Slaves inventory and give him/her a slave collar.

2. 'Listen, You are a slave now, I own you, do you undestand?
Here you can decide wether the new Slave should follow you or stay in the place where he/she was captured.

Both options are availinle, but first you should give a collar to the slave.

After the NPC is enslaved, You get 4 more dialog lines:

1. You need to be punished

Here you decide wether to whip the slave or to rape/fuck the slave. With higher submission the Rape option turn into the 'Strip Now...' option.
If the slave is bound, the dialog is a bit different. If you select rape/fuck you can select between oral/vaginal/anal Sex. Note Whipping will raise the anger, raping will raise the Fear.

2. You going to wear this.

Here you can dress up the slave

3. I'm going to make sure that you stay here/ remove restrains

Here you can put some ropes to the slave. The slave will stay in place until you remove the restrains. Note that the slave will stay at that place if you don't tell him/her to follow you.

4. Ok Slave....

Here you get additional dialog options:

1. never mind: Return to the main dialog

2. From now on you will fight for me / Stop fighting, just hang back from combat.
This starts and stops combat training, the slave will fight for you or just follow.

3. I'm going to fuck you: starting sex training.

4. You are going to do something for me: commanding the slave to do stuff

5. I decided to let you go: release the slave

6. Carry this for me: Give equipment to the slave.

7. Wait around here/Follow me: Selfexplaining

If the submission is high enough you get the option: From now on you will adress me as a slave should, understand.
This can be canceled with 'You can Address me however you like now.'

Hi, i have a question about the bandit bug, when the bandit respawn naked after being enslaved.

Does the naked bandit spawn/appear only in the place (fort, cave, mine, etc) where the bandit was ? Or he can appear in any place the PC haven't explored yet ?

Every bandit (or other npc, such as warlocks, forsworn, etc.) are actually individual actor forms.  That is, there's only a certain number of each type.  The reasons why are a bit complicated to explain (and Clifton is better qualified to discuss that part anyway), when you enslave an NPC, that particular "actor" has its outfit removed.  This wasn't intended but it is what happens.  So anytime an encounter involving that "actor" appears, it will be naked.

So to answer your question, it actually has nothing to do with what areas you have or haven't explored.  Its just whether the encounter table for that area happens to call for an "actor" you've previously enslaved.  If it does, they show up naked.

yes, if somethings broken I can't debug your version too

if you came with a suggestion or something that you saw broken in there that I could look at then I could look at it as  an update, but what you have there is like something in between and i'm getting reports of ctd's that didn't exist before

I need to be able to determine if that's something new I've added or something from another mod

I am not sure why but Fellglow Slave Camp Rebuild v1.4.3.7z causes CTD´s in my Game.

rule 3 still applies, you gave the version, but I need the logs

ya, that'd be the difference between the actor that we see and the base actor that skyrim draws a new bandit from when the bandits are spawned

the way paradise halls was written, the base actor is linked to the actor during the enslavement process and every attempt at thwarting this or separating the base has caused other problems

So to answer your question, it actually has nothing to do with what areas you have or haven't explored.  Its just whether the encounter table for that area happens to call for an "actor" you've previously enslaved.  If it does, they show up naked.

ya, that'd be the difference between the actor that we see and the base actor that skyrim draws a new bandit from when the bandits are spawned

the way paradise halls was written, the base actor is linked to the actor during the enslavement process and every attempt at thwarting this or separating the base has caused other problems

Yeah I wasn't gonna try to explain all that and all the problems it has caused.  One day we'll figure out how to sever that link... one day...

Hi, i have a question about the bandit bug, when the bandit respawn naked after being enslaved.

Does the naked bandit spawn/appear only in the place (fort, cave, mine, etc) where the bandit was ? Or he can appear in any place the PC haven't explored yet ?

any place that particular bandit was set as a possibility to spawn in the leveled list

Thanks, so i have two questions.

1. If i kill a bugged-nude-bandit, will he respawn with colthes ? Or naked again and again ?

2. Is they a simple way to forbid to a type of "actor" to respawn ? With console command or something.

  1. in theory the bug isn't fixed until all game representations (including the slave) currently in game are dead, but I don't know if your idea has been tested - my first impulse has always been to capture her with her sister
  2. I wish I knew the answer to that and if I could i'd add that command during enslavement with exception to still call that actor if for some reason no other actor can be called for that circumstance

A1 - No, they'll always be naked in that saved game (this all gets reset when you start a new game).  The actor base has been altered internally and no longer has an outfit.  I tried experimenting with giving them items in their inventory (their inventory is not cleared which why they still have weapons and so forth, just no clothes / outfit because that's actually stored separately) but they wouldn't dress themselves reliably.

A2 - No.  Those actors get re-used throughout the game.  Even if you could prevent some of them from being spawned the end effect would be pretty soon you'd have no bandits at all (plus it could break certain encounters).  If I wasn't clear before, while the bandit encounters draw randomly from leveled lists; the actual NPC actors that make up those lists are NOT randomly generated.

So until we can find a way to sever the link between the base actor and the cloned slave actor, the bug persists.  As Clifton pointed out, every attempt to do so made so far (and there have been many) has either just not worked or has broken the system.
