nocturna Posted January 2, 2025 Posted January 2, 2025 (edited) Im on SE and I am having an issue where any of CCAS's starts wont load, I am using Judges version. The screen goes black and it throws me back into the cell with no statue and some lockpicks. I looked at the possible fix, but that is for LE, and uses a mod I cant find for SE. I have tried moving it around the mod list, and loading reloading saves, deactivating and saving, reactivating, and nothing seems to be working. I tested various ones as well; dwemer bot, skooma whore, chaurus, prostitution, and enslaved to lurker- it seems to be all menus and all categories of CCAS. It seems like CCAS is not hooking into its scenarios or something else is competing with it when it does. EDIT: I found the issue. It seems to be that if CCAS is installed below MME it will not 'hook' correctly. It has to be before it in the load order. Not sure why but this is what broke all of this mods start points for me. There are still a couple of crashes like Slaverun start, but the rest of them now work. Edited May 5, 2025 by nocturna

So here is the my request: Can someone decribe what to do in order to literally do the "Ghost in a Dwemer Shell" quest?

You should only activate the .esp of the family you want

TheManTheManTheMan2424 Posted April 15, 2025 Posted April 15, 2025 now nobody is marked as family no matter what I do. it worked the night before just fine (with birna specifically, but worked on everyone else too). but the morning after installing a grass mod, some bottle retextures, and dismemberment framework, no one is marked as family. I've activated and deactivated the esps, reinstalled the mod (both this and family ties), and ran them up and down my load order, and just seems to not work with names anymore, I still get keys and the option to start with a family though. is this my fault? what did I do?

Try using xEdit, open the program with all .esps activated and see the mods that are conflicting with Family Ties

I see things like cell edits and placements, but that's it really. it's strange how it can go from working fine one night to not functioning the next day after very minimal mod interaction, but that's modding. I can try to learn to make a patch but at least knowing a direction to look would be helpful (that may affect names again)? thank you for responding btw

xkcorruption Posted October 28, 2025 Posted October 28, 2025 (edited) thats because its on AFK now. well has been for years.... also skyrim nexus is super broken. they keep letting idiots upload SE/AE mods to regular skyrim mods section. and NO they werent mods that they made the version work for both games no separate versions needed. they are legit se mods in regular skyrims mods. anyway point is mods not gone. tons of people jumped ship when nexus did the whole pay to play bs. and most didnt pull their mods down just, they just abandoned nexus.
