Finally found a top that I like and... it is old and without bbb:-(

 

I can't believe nobody has converted this top yet? oh sure I found the whole outfit on lovers with bbb but the part I want is not able to be separated in the nif file.

 

Talkin bout marine AR and bunny mod by npr found it on nexus and liked the upper top only mesh the one WITHOUT the dress and sleeves built in. I can't find bbb of that anywhere like someone missed it lol. I did find a guts conversion at nexus hoping it is bbb haven't checked yet. Anyone seen what I am lookin for?

Guts version doesn't have bbb either, how did that happen lol? of all things even guts no bbb?

Oh wow I just tried to convert this top to fighter body f cup and it turned out horrible.

The marine AR mesh is not good ( UpBody1.nif or UpBody2.nif)

There is a UV map seam, visible at certain camera angles.

And the mesh is not good to convert it to other Body types, the Body has deformed Breasts and flattened nipple = most times the result is not good or horrible.

 

If you add BBB to the original mesh you still have the UV seam ( one reason why I would not use it )

 

Here a DM BBB Version ( only Op1 and Op2 bones) but no UV seam

Hey thanks for that! Yeah I have been bouncing off the walls trying to figure out where kurese got that body mesh from or if they altered it just to be special. I looks a lot like type b bouncy from HGEC with bbb body replacer mod on nexus except the boobs are squished a bit. I think the seam problem is because the body is slightly shorter than it is supposed to be. I get this idea from running the original through clothing converter and the results are a big change on the z axis that results in really bad squishing on the output.

I actually had no problem converting the UpBody1.nif if a body has deformed breasts and flattened nipple and things like that if you use the body inside the armor as the template the converter will pop those dents out but if you use a fixed/unaltered body for the template those deformed breasts and flattened nipple's will not change. Other then the minor rings at the bottom but I never use any of those axis ones.

I was looking at another kurese mod here: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/23589/?

 

When I copy/paste any of the large boobs meshes from this mod into the HGEC bbb meshes I discover that what kurese calls "size L" or "L" is actually HGEC F cup size! major difference is kurese boobs are pushed up like they are in a tight pushup bra. Gonna try to convert the marine AR top to kurese L size and see what happens. If that works good then I am gonna try going to HGEC F cup fighter body.

Ok tried that kurese L size and the problem remains of the top stretching it has something to do with going from a bigger boob size to smaller. Seems like the converter just can't figure out how to properly shape something under the boobs and the rings still get squashed. The mesh overall looks better after conversion compared to converting to HGEC F cup but I need those rings and the parts of the top that connect to them to look just as they do in the original.

 

I was looking at blender tutorials and all that but there doesn't seem to be a 100% exactly what to do tutorial for situations like this anywhere.

That's what those constrain X Y Z axis are for. Each one constrains a different area not sure where on the body each of those work for as I have not use them much at all.

Going from big to small you will always have warpage spots the spot under the breast and in between the breast are the 2 main spots where you will get warpage stretching and general weirdness. Not much can be done about those spots other then to try to find the armor in a smaller size or closer to the size you are converting to or tweak those areas after conversion with something like 3dmax or blender. I know some use the converter to convert the bulk of a armor and then finish it up in one or the other.

I hate blender, I hate it so much lol. I can't stand spending hours in a 3d modelling program doing anything. Takes forever to get it juuuuuust right the whole time knowing that somewhere out there, somebody already did it I just haven't found it yet. My hope is that if these things I want to fix and use come out well enough, at some point if we get something similar to PSE in skyrim I can just find a way to port the things over and use them in skyrim finally.

You just almost read my mind!!!!!

 

If you could put the key rings like they are dangling from the metal rings that would be best it seems like that is what the metal rings are for, they are key rings:-) I was gonna do exactly that with this shirt as part of the slave trader outfit this would go with. That is why I am so stuck on this shirt for the 2nd outfit I am working on.

 

Also just delete the cross part on the neck or I could just alpha it out lol beggars can't be choosers.

 

 

I just copy/pasted the shirt onto the femalebodyupper I am using for hgec fighter body f cup and it fit like a glove! You have just made my day!

 

I cannot express with words how much I can't stand and also can't figure out how to use blender. I can only express with yelling and screaming and many many expletives how I feel about blender lol. To me, blender is that alien monster in alien isolation pc game which cannot be killed. You have to fight with it all the time even until the end and still can't win.

 

Thanks for sneaking around the blender monster and finding this shirt this is awesome!!!!

After I stopped drooling over this awesome shirt I realized that the keys can't dangle that low without clipping into the body so I see why you put them there. The only way my idea would work is if the rings were much smaller so the keys would dangle on them but I can make this work as you have already done it just get rid of some rings so there are rings and keys together I noticed you had a copy of certain rings so this would work thanks:-)

Is there a mod that removes the battle raiment requirement from the arena? I want to able to play fearlessly in case my char gets undressed and raped in the arena...

Yes.  There are two or three at the nexus.  One was a ring that fulfilled the requirement.  A quick nexus search should find them for you.

 equip the Ring but don't wear Arena Armor !

The Arena armor script checks if you unequip the armor, so if you wear the Arena ring and the armor and the armor is removed ( sex-rape)  and you will be disqualified.

Wear something else or fight naked.

 

If you want the Arena armor you can create new Armor in the CS, a copy of the Arena armor with new ID/Name, delete the Arena script and put the armor in a chest and place the chest in the Arena bloodworks cell. So you can wear the "fake" Arena armor (same values = no cheating) and the Arena Ring.

1.33 is no longer working due to PlanetElderScrolls no longer being available. If you go to the Oscuros Oblivion Overhaul 133 bydev_akm link on the nexus it will state that and also state what to use instead of the 1.33 version. The link on their page points to a newer version of OOO which is 1.35a  http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/15256/?

Yes I've read that its no longer available...I hoped that someone still has it in his HD...

Thanks to avebrave work I am getting somewhere with my outfit ideas but now I am stuck again. It seems speedbuster either did not want this particular item used on any other outfit or more likely just got lazy and took a shortcut. The gauntlets from the latex outfit from speedbuster garbage collection 3 set are really nice but they clip real bad with the wrists of any body set including all speed buster bodies because spb just took a shortcut and squished the wrists on the latex body these gloves go with so there would be no clipping:-(

 

See attached file if avebrave can fix this too or anyone want to take a shot at it thanks for your help. The file needs to be altered to fit any hgec upper body, I say any because at the wrist part it doesn't matter if fighter or normal etc they are all the same wrists. I pasted it over my fighter f cup that I use and it was only the wrists clipping.

 

I have tried searching for this gauntlet in other outfit mods like dmra mods hoping someone converted it but no luck.

Nice that you and AnnaFly like the upperbody I uploaded, I just read keys, slaver outfit, the marine outfit, and open blender  :D .

Sure I can fix the gloves, but this time I explain how I done this, because sometimes there is nobody around who fix such little problems.

In spoiler because this is tutorial stuff which does not belong in here, Sir Moderator  :), but I'm lazy, sorry.

 

 

this just show how I fix this with blender step by step (for import and export read a tutorial like this.

 

- first import the gloves, delete the skeleton nodes.

- select the belts press 'M' and kick them on a other layer (more easy to work mit many layer):

- select the glove mesh and go to edit mode (selecting mesh with right click then press tap)

- diselect everything press 'A'

- press 'B' select on side of the glove

- press 'delete' select vertices

- go to another layer, and import the body, remove skeleton (lazy me import the body I use for the marine upbody)

- press shift and select the gloves and the body layer (ignore that i also import the hands):

- adjust it with using proportional edit falloff (smooth)

- just select points at the clip-region and move them out on the axis (use mouse wheel to adjust the area where the 'proportional edit falloff' take place)

 

- work till it looks good

-go to object mode (tap key)

- press shit+s select cursor->selection

duplicate the mesh:

- select the glove

- press shift+d and then right click somewhere (you got now a duplicated version and it is selected)

- mirrow it on x-axis:

- flip normals (during the mirrow process the texture is also mirrowed and shown in the inside) we don't want this so we flip the normals.

- go to edit mode (tap key) then make sure everything is selectet (yellow) then press 'W' and select flip normals:

- join the 2 glove meshes, seletct both mesh (hold shift, select both 'rigth click') then press ctrl+j and click 'join selectet meshs'

 

weigthpaint easy version:

- import hands to your body layer, delete skeleton node

- join body and hands

- make use all vertices are selected (edit mode - press 'A' maybe twice till everything is yellow)

- same for the gloves (select all vertices)

- back to oject mode and diselect all ('A')

- select FIRST the gloves and THEN press shift and select the body

- then use bone Weigth Copy:

- wait till it is done
- delete everything that you dont need, do exporting stuff...
 
- maybe the belts have to be adjust the same way
 
the full process took me about 10-15 minutes for the gloves, blender isn't a beast, if you know how to do, it'll be a nice program.
if you got problems, read tutorials, or ask here on LL, people are very kind here and will help.

Now your turn to try something by yourself .

 

You know , Blender is like NifSkope ( a real " god's gift " this one ) : at the first view , it seems to be difficult to use these tools , but that's not really true ... if they "are" difficult that is just because you never tried something with them before.

 

As for many things , just the first steps seems to be difficult ( especially for a non english user ... ) .

 

I loose  ( waste) a lot of time with NifSkope , just because i never read any tutorial about it ... so i 've tried most of its functions one by one ... just to find what it was possible to do with them... and for some of them you cannot find any information ...

 

With blender , that's different even if once again i never read a " real " tutorial about it ... unfortunately  there is no one in " french "  and sometime i'm reallly a " lazy " person when i need to read some " tutoria l" ... and yes , i know i'm wrong , but it's my " nature " , i prefer to try something by myself first ,  just because i'm a very curious person .

 

But in your case , and i say that because i saw your last posts about your " problems " - especially" with  the SPB's meshes i think it would be a good thing to try now something with Blender ( and NifSkope too )  , even if the  Gerra6 ' s Clothing Converter is really a great Converter , in some case that's not enough , especially when you work with unusual meshes or with a mesh not very clean or " well done " ( like some " stuff " created with the Skyrim " OutfitStudio " ) .

 

Last thing : maybe  " modding " isn't your " cup of tea " , and i can understand that point of view , but in any case you will not " waste " your time with the Blender " tutorial .

Hello, may I ask..

is there are mods that display player attributes in detail like str_90(60+30)  int_77(80-3) or even better, can directly recognise how many stats damaged/drained/boosted, etc.

I used to saw one like that but can not find it anymore-thus I'm pretty sure it exists..

You already used a "tool" like this ?

 

The only one tool/utility i know and use is Refscope , but it's purpose is different not exactly what you said.

 

It's a very usefull utility and OBSE is required .

 

Is it that one ?
