This game is getting really boring

I went full speed into porn mods and eventually weeded out the mods I didn't like so my load order is where I want it but, dam this game is boring. In order to enjoy all the porn mods I have to play as a female character and a lot of the armor mods are female only so if I play a male character again those armors won't even work. Perfect example of this is bless online armors would be great to have male versions but the author says it takes forever to do one armor so most likely we won't see it any time soon. Other armors wouldn't make sense for a male version like porn armors.

 

The game storyline kills porn mods for me since those mods seem out of place in the game world. The game storyline in general is so boring but what else is there to do? Maybe it is just burnout for gaming but there is really no good games coming out that will last as long as skyrim has. Every new game is a five hour grind for a once only single player game then a bunch of the usual shit with multiplayer and then people dump it for the next one in a year.

 

There really is nothing good to play that can compare to the replay factor of skyrim when it first came out and up to present. F4 is a waste of time until all the DLCs come out and arthmoor and co fix it all for about a year. So in the mean time what then? Nobody has made a whole new world for porn mods to exist in for this game. Closest thing I can think of is the aether suite being converted into a new world mod where a bunch of quests and a story line are made for it but porn is not a constant. You can play porn but after you get off to it, funs over:-(

 

Skyrim offers this great power play but once you have done it a hundred times you don't want to bother with it for a while.

 

I see dark souls 3 is coming out but it will probably be another console crap port with shitty controls that require mods to somewhat fix it and still be kind of crap. This year just looks like crap for gaming, we got that five hour grind for doom coming out and then later on another techno emo deus ex game will probably have some more screenshots of things that are not in the game and stupid ending. NEXT YEAR another mass effect game that is too dam far away:-(

 

Thats it I don't think there is anything else major coming out. This is going to be a really boring year with a bunch of political crap to deal with daily.

I can sympathise on both fronts, but you're judging a shitload of games based on what Skyrim offers - that's like driving a P1 since launch and labeling next quarter's Audi as being too shitty. 

Skyrim's main issue, at least for me, is that the main focus is on BDSM & the like - what with the broad range of "Devious" mods that have come out. Not as dark as some of the mods that Oblivion had. Basically, if you're turning Skyrim into Pornrim, it's best if you do this after finishing the whole game and not take it your next few reruns too seriously. 

I have MK X, Witcher 3, and Dragon Age, along with GTA 5, just chilling on my PC. Then there's SWTOR & Blade and Soul. And now I'm waiting for a quality rip of Far Cry Primal (or my salary to come in so I can buy the damn thing), and then there's No Man's Sky coming in June/Julyish. 

Basically: patience. Maybe there'll be something interesting coming along in the next few months.

Why are you playing Skyrim only for the porn mods? Obviously Skyrim wasn't made to be that type of game so of course you'll get bored of it. Also, I have to be blunt, but if you're constantly beating the meat and getting bored immediately after you should really try finding something else to do with your time.

No shit lol but srsly I don't spend a lot of time doing that. I beat skyrim over and over again for years like everyone else. I was basically done with skyrim until I decided to give porn mods a try which was interesting at first but the bugs with outfits and followers then the porn getting boring over time just killed it again for me.

 

I have only a few hours a day to play games or mod them like everyone else so trying to find a game to play for that time just sucks these days. There really is nothing out there like the old days where some popular game was the shit for years on end. Maybe if elite dangerous had a lot more story and a lot less infinite universe it would be more interesting but the idea of short replay value seems to be the norm these days.

Porn mods should be a immersive complement, not the reason to play Skyrim, I always try to keep a balance between beauty and violence, using everything the game has, weapons and armor, if Skyrim was not infested with bugs, would not need more than occasional sexy armor, cute faces and some more blood.
As regards pornography, I only use the defeat, nothing more ... the old mods to the genitals of creatures, still works perfectly.
Skyrim is just a game, so boring or fun as we want it.

I agree I too have played Skyrim sooo damn much for far too long, & for me the game is beyond boring for me even with the porn mods I guess it's just the atmosphere of the game that is really getting to me, I Want more of skyrim But perhaps in ways of expansion like TES Online but with out the MMO or even perhaps a new game that bring us into the future but has the open world like skyrim, now FO4 isn't too far off from that goal,but with out the post apocalyptic world, although I am yet to play FO4 But I really can't play it till I overhaul my computer to handle that game but when I do... Oh boy watch out... I'll Be retiring Skyrim then  but for Skyrim I have ventured to every single place 10 times over & the story is old I have even played most the story mods & new worlds mods.  But the only thing that keeps me playing is I convert armors for the body type I use & I'll stick to it till I feel that the need for those outfits for that body has expired & with the development of these new bodies like with the HDT vagina well It's getting closer to expire my body type.

 

I too have many other games But nothing that grabs my attention like skyrim did, I am thinking of hanging up games for a few months & concentrate on my true passion... Working on ATV's

But I end up spending most of the time troubleshooting and fine tuning everything than actually playing the game.

first: I know which is the difference between real life and fantasy.

leaving it clear when I play I disconnect from the real world to live for 2 to 8 hours in the game. but when I pause the game or turn it off I go back to the real world that means you technically never disconnected from reality. well if your  crazy.

 

 

i enjoy every game that i play. i enjoy the games the way they are not the way you want them to be. if i play a dragon ball xenoverse i enjoy this game the way it is. this is not skyrim or gta or street fighter this game have is own rule and a ways to entertain you.

I played all TES games. But skyrim is the most advance soo far (TESO is online dont count it), so MODs or anything that make it fresh is cool, porn or not. Your reason to play is your way to see things in a "fantasy world", and it will give to you motivation to stay in the game. I'm not saying that is wrong to say things or be bad in the game, only good people can exist, no. I use skyrim as tool to create characters, live as one new person, be loved or hated. To learn and destroy...
I made my own playing routine, and that make skyrim fresh for me. Every new character have a paper sheet, with all information and skills, I made small books with their adventures, romance and all. I have all characters pictures and feats drawn too.
Sometimes I need a break, and others games can offer me confort. But in the end I go back to Skyrim.

Oh yes, my game is fully modded, so its not vanilla skyrim, but all immersion that mods can give make the game soo special.

If you think Skyrim is boring, you're not going to have much fun in FO4, unless you like cash register noises.

As I see it you have several options:

 

1- Roleplay your character. Come up with their personality and morality and play within those bounds. Playing as an evil character in this way is usually boring though.

2- Find mods that change gameplay enough that it is fun again (porn and non porn) whether they are ones that change the mechanics or add quests or whatever.

3- If you can't find the things you want learn how to make them. I had very little knowledge on how to do anything in the CK when I started and 0 in scripting. Through my work I have been able to find people who can help with the things I can't do.

 

If none of that helps and you are still bored and not having fun then quit the game, no sense doing something you don't like.

 

Modding has been the thing that has kept me playing Skyrim for the last few years. Currently I have nearly 7000 hours in Skyrim and 5000 hours in the CK.

last April I got my PC ( one that would run Skyrim)  and I'm still on a learning curve as far a modding is concerned, just last week downloaded my first  animation pack... still haven't used it. I have however been playing Skyrim since release...85% of my game time.  Meaning I played on 360 for all that time.. 

 

While I have always felt that each person play's different, different style, different reasons... It erk's me to no end when I see someone say they "beat the game and are bored"...   To me if your playing to "beat it"... and your bored...it's time to find another game.  Seriously, I can Role Play one character for 500 to 600 hrs, with no quest-lines done.... and no sex...cause... like I said  I just got the animation packs. To me it's more of a "perk"... 

 

I can think of several RPs with some good mods... but that's me...

My porn days are long over with all that I've written and rp'd, . That did get boring. When I get enough of Skyrim, I play another game that I have installed. I have Morrowind, Oblvion, Skyrim, installed, as well as Kotor II, and soon Kotor- all heavily modded. I might add the Fallout series, Dragon Age,

 

What is boring is vanilla Skyrim on console. God, that got boring very quickly, it's such a tiny game world. But the DLCs and modding on PC has made it a huge game for me. So much to do... I haven't even done a lot of the Dragonborn stuff, other than killing Miraak, and getting some of those Black Books.

I am a contributor to the game of Skyrim as a modder, I think I know this game pretty damn well.

well first dont be so mad second knowing how to create a mod is not knowing how to play games because i make some mods too. some personal and other public. i know game because i play them.

you know went i was in the university a friend there he create a personal game from the scratch. one day we me and other friend we start playing some games i was the only one who talk to him and i invite to play and man/woman he was real bad playing game real bad so i ask him why he is so bad playing but so good creating games.

 

he says: is not the same playing and creating because i only know the inside the game but you know the hole project only by playing the game and he finish saying this. the doctors know about the body but nothing about the feelings so is not the same knowing the inside and the outside. You see more when you see the effort that the creators put on the game.

 

and yes if you eat the same food over and over and over and over again you get sick of that food. but you can eat other food and other day eat the same food before. example you eat rice with meat over and over and over again then you a pizza other day you eat a white rice with sausages other day you eat a hamburger then you eat rice with meat again. you feel fine because it's been a while.

well for 1 I know how to play games I have been Playing games since I was a little tyke I am now an old fart...LOL  I am not mad BTW I just don't like being judged by those that do not know me, I didn't really get into modding until Skyrim came along, mainly because I had already beaten the games quest lines & all  DLC's & found pretty much every hidden cave etc.. I could find.  So I was already burned out with the game but then modding filled that void & I started having fun with the game again, well I am getting burned out with modding. your right I should just move on to other things but I really hate to say & admit it but trying to quit Skyrim is like trying to get a smoker to stop smoking, meaning no matter what game I play I keep coming back for more Skyrim, Yes I am totally Burned out with Skyrim but that's my choice to quite not any body else's, I am just expressing my own feelings on the subject.
