I hate Dragonborn because I hate all the weird ass tentacles and Hermaeus Mora's obsession with them, plus Miraak stealing all my hard earned dragon souls. That entire DLC just annoys and creeps me the hell out. The only thing I hate about Thieves Guild is Mercer's annoying baby level wit.

I hate the Thieves Guild themselves more than the quest line. In particular Delvin, Vex, and Dirge are the ones I hate. Even when you're the boss they keep asking you to do menial jobs while they sit on their assess talking about logging caravans. At the very least the Dark Brotherhood gave me the respect deserving of my position when I got it even if I was the only one doing the dirty work. The Thieve's Guild on the other hand, well Dig a shallow grave for Dirge because he had one job to protect the Ragged Flagon and if he can't at least keep his mouth shut enough when the boss is around then he is no good to me. "Stay out of trouble and there won't be trouble." Were the last words he said. I know the rules dumb-ass because I pay you to fucking follow them!

Yes I know dumping bodies is expensive but call it an investment towards my own sanity.

I hate the thieves guild questline because they're just all around dicks and unlike the Dark Brotherhood you can't kick them out (and Maven with them).
Also Brinjolf is just some snake-oil salesman douchebag so there that.

The Civil war is the questline I dislike most. I used console commands to finish Season Unending until I found a mod that let me skip this. And I don't get involved in the Thieves Guild or the Dark Brotherhood either. I enjoy both the main quest and the DLC's, so there's always enough to do.

Dawnguard. Long and drawn out and utterly pointless. If Serana likes you enough at the end she will go get cured of vampirism. If she and her mother had done that in the beginning there would be no Dawnguard questline.

I have to day that while I like Dawnguard, I HATE that you basically travel from one extreme end of Skyrim to the exact opposite several times over the course of your questing. I play without fast travel, but even with horses it still gets mind numbing to go back and forth between Castle Volkihar and Fort Dawnguard over and over and...

Funny thing is that many of the characters want to be free from vampirism but Falion (the guy that cures your vampirism) is not that well known. A group of people in Skyrim even went to Clavicus Vile, a daedric prince of all things for help in curing their vampirism. Two women who sealed themselves off for some thousand years probably don't know who Falion is and even if they did know, they likely won't trust the guy. Considering Falion also requires a filled black soul gem to cure vampirism I wouldn't blame them since those things have a bad reputation in Elderscrolls lore.

TG is the dumbest fucking story ever put to pixels, and in a world where Mass Effect AndDramaDuh is a thing, that's a near biblical accomplishment.

Oddly, it seems a whole bunch of the guards know and a large number of other people will comment about it. :D

I don't know when they did, so it could have been before Falion started practicing outside of the college. Then again, as followers of Vile maybe they thought they'd get a better deal from him, but I guess they weren't all that "up on the faith" or something. Maybe they just caught him on a bad day.

Yeah, it doesn't make sense for everyone in the province to know what Falion does, but the people in his own town don't and want him run out because of that.

Unless its the black soul gem part and they think he'll kill their kids to fill them.

Monster Party or any number of indie games which are either pornographic in nature or serve as some political party or special interest groups' propaganda (see anything from PETA) would beat it out by several leagues.

The guards know much but tell very little and do even less. They even know who kills the Emperor, when they did it and for whom they did him in.

Your reward for suffering dumb is titties and fucking monster girls or new animations and girls for Honey*/Play*. Your rewards for completing TG is you're the largest idiot in an idiotic group of idiots.

Fair enough. No such award awaits with PETA parody games, though, unless one counts unintentional laughter at whatever message they are trying to convey as a reward.

I see your sarcasm.

I recall modding my game so most people would shut the hell up when I wasn't talking to them. You'd be surprised how quiet Skyrim gets when people stop telling their life stories to you a total stranger(If only real life worked that way). Anyway I got nuthin to counter that or your previous statement.
