ousnius Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Yup, we just released it (but I'ma go sleep). The two mod descriptions should have most info you need for now. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15/ http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/25/
Jon82 Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Is the BodySlide exe missing for anyone else? EDIT: NM, seperate download. It is? Where? In none of the folders is the exe?
ousnius Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Yea i just seen the nexus upload, but want to confirm a few things before i consider downloading it. 1. Is the neck gap/seam and the wrist seams sorted? 2. Which face texture goes with the body texture, vanilla? The seams should be mostly gone. There are still a few minor ones here and there, but everything too bad is sorted out for now. The head texture isn't replaced (so it's the vanilla one). People are free to share their own retextures of the body now, provided you credit and link our mod(s). (just don't re-upload the whole mod without permissions please)

Thanks!
patzy Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Love it! Finally dat Ass in a skintight vault suit. Great Thanks to you and everyone else that worked on this. And merry christmas of course!
McPinkerton Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 I dont mod that much, but i did mess around with the alpha but in the official release everything is blank, did I do something wrong?
Leocid2 Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Congratulations good job. I imagine that at some point, increase breast polygons in the mesh. At this time all the body with large breasts are much deformed.
ousnius Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 I dont mod that much, but i did mess around with the alpha but in the official release everything is blank, did I do something wrong? You need both the CBBE and BodySlide mod. When installing CBBE, select the BodySlide addon option.
Caliente Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Hi all! Thanks so much for all the feedback and help testing out the alpha version of CBBE and Bodyslide for fallout 4!! As you are likely aware, I've posted a release on fallout 4 nexus: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15/?! I'll probably upload a mirror here soon as well. Fixes for release include a large improvement in wrist and neck seams, and a swath of vanilla outfits that show skin were fully converted to cbbe and sliders. Note the outfits are using the low res vanilla meshes so will look rather bad with many "extreme" shapes, so you may want to create smaller shapes for outfits Also, outfit studio is once again activated, and will work very well for creating custom sliders and converting vanilla outfits. It also can create custom bodies and outfits from standard meshes in obj and fbx format, though this can be tricky/buggy... I will try and improve this workflow over time. Of course, if you have a mod that modifies cbbe files or uses outfit studio to get custom content into the game you are more than welcome to distribute those mods as you see fit... Please credit and link original mod page please Hope you all enjoy the mod, and let me know what problems you encounter!
ExecutorBill Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Thanks for working on this, guys. We appreciate your hard work and dedication to bringing joy and good tidings to FO4 fans everywhere!
thatTESguy Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Grats ousnius (cell) and Caliente on the release. As one of the early alpha testers, I will mention some known issues with Outfit Studio and some workarounds (these are known bugs). This was written with regards to a Max 2014/2016 workflow: My UVs look wrong! a ) Meshes imported with FBX seem to have UVs inverted. You can flip them by applying a UVW Xform in Max with V Tile flip checked. b ) OS is not currently breaking UV seams properly; please use a script to break/weld the vertices at UV seams (one can also try an export/import to a .NIF while working on it in Max). I'm getting problems with certain bones in my imported mesh being unweighed. For FBX imports, bones present in the import that are not present in the reference will not be weighed. One should import a .NIF with the proper bones before importing the FBX. My meshes are displaced vertically. OS assumes a -120 displacement for body meshes, which can be a problem when combined with max scaling. Make sure you're exporting in centimeters, and/or correct it manually. (there may be other fixes for this too). Dismember doesn't work!Comment from the nexus forums: - Outfit Studio doesn't create so called segments for the shapes correctly yet.- This means any mesh going through OS will not work with dismemberment anymore.
Caliente Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Congratulations good job. I imagine that at some point, increase breast polygons in the mesh. At this time all the body with large breasts are much deformed. Do you mean outfits? If so, yes, vanilla meshes are awfully low-res... Will need to be practically remade to improve, and we will work on that . If you mean the body.... Well, there should be quite enough for nearly any size, even really silly ones

I just wanted to let you know that the Bodyslide Program itself doesn't seem to be in the archive that was uploaded to the nexus. I've searched throughout the entire archive, but there only seems to be the folders for the Shape Data / Shape Categories etc. in the Bodyslide Addon folder. EDIT: Disregard this, I just saw that the Bodyslide program itself was on a separate Nexus page!

ralfetas Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 BEST PRESENT EVER!!! THANKS!!! Just something to notice, i try to just replace files and use my old body in BS, the mesh was very strange, the body was all exploded, them i delete all and made a "clean" copy and now everything is perfect.
Karna5 Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 The new version is truly superb. The right knee issue remains, but that's not a big deal. It's disguised with leg armor easily. But even since alpha I note it is now perfect when I crouch even with 100% perkiness settings. This is truly high art. Well done.
Snazzishoez Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Impressive amount of armors and presets in a short time. Thank you very much.
ExecutorBill Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Alright, I got a legit report this time: The sequin dress in Bodyslide works fine, but the high-heels that go along with it don't seem to take into account the feet. The feet just clip through the shoes. This also seems to be a problem with these other outfits: "SlinkyDress" "TShirtSlacks" Vault Scientist outfits A-C, though C has less of an issue with shoe/foot clipping. "Irma" "Mobsters A" "Piper"
Karna5 Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Post script to try to prevent 200 posts asking the same question.Harness: I had done the Calyps harness port during alpha, but for this version I deleted the texture and materials calypso files I'd added, and the invisible legs went away. Bodyslide: I had uninstalled alpha bodyslide studio, but the instructions on Nexus were a bit confusing to me and I overlooked the line which said Bodyslide is its own link. Once I saw and installed bodyslide that worked, too. I used Nexus Mod Manager to install (and uninstall) everything, and there were no issues which were not caused by my own tampering.

Just something to notice, i try to just replace files and use my old body in BS, the mesh was very strange, the body was all exploded, them i delete all and made a "clean" copy and now everything is perfect. Yeah there was a topology change between then and now to match the body - neck vertex count along the seam. Reinstalling fixes as you discovered Alright, I got a legit report this time: The sequin dress in Bodyslide works fine, but the high-heels that go along with it don't seem to take into account the feet. The feet just clip through the shoes. This also seems to be a problem with these other outfits: "TShirtSlacks" Vault Scientist outfits A-C, though C has less of an issue with shoe/foot clipping. "Irma" Hmmm sounds like the zap slider didn't work for those outfits ... particularly the vault scientist outfit shouldn't have any foot mesh polygons in the mesh at all (only a tiny bit of skin shows near the neck). Perhaps rebuilding the outfits would work? Make sure not to have the preview window open while switching outfits. Otherwise, I'll keep an eye out for further reports of this, thanks for the note.

Upon further inspection, it seems like the actual meshes (.nif files) that Bodyslide exports are perfectly fine. It's just the preview window where the feet are bugged.
