khalsu Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Alright, I got a legit report this time: The sequin dress in Bodyslide works fine, but the high-heels that go along with it don't seem to take into account the feet. The feet just clip through the shoes. This also seems to be a problem with these other outfits: "TShirtSlacks" Vault Scientist outfits A-C, though C has less of an issue with shoe/foot clipping. "Irma" Hmmm sounds like the zap slider didn't work for those outfits ... particularly the vault scientist outfit shouldn't have any foot mesh polygons in the mesh at all (only a tiny bit of skin shows near the neck). Perhaps rebuilding the outfits would work? Make sure not to have the preview window open while switching outfits. Otherwise, I'll keep an eye out for further reports of this, thanks for the note. Upon further inspection, it seems like the actual meshes (.nif files) that Bodyslide exports are perfectly fine. It's just the preview window where the feet are bugged. There's an issue with the outfit not properly matching your body preset when you switch outfit and you have the preview window open, Like Caliente pointed out, just close the preview, switch outfit, open preview and it should look fine.
Silvist Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Woot, after looking through a billion posts trying to check progress, I see you guys finally did a release! So congrats to Caliente, Cell, and the rest of the team! Can't wait to try this out! Hopefully now that its officially released the absurd posts will die down, so we can actually talk about real modding
SquigglySwag Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Incredible work, I can't say enough to convey my appreciation for your work. The body is amazing, installation was easy and bodyslide works fine for me. I hate to ask for more when you've already done so much, but is there any possibility that you're working on compatibility with CBBE and dismemberment? Though I'll be spending a lot of time appreciating the ladies in-game, I'm still going to be spending a lot of time fighting, and when half the NPCs don't react to my shotgun and grenades in the manner to which I've become accustomed, it detracts from my enjoyment somewhat. I'm sure its a huge undertaking to get it to work, and I don't mean to show lack of appreciation or respect for your contributions, just wondering if I should hold out hope for eventual dismemberment support or not. Thanks again!
Optima Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 I'm running into a weird problem nobody else seems to have yet... While naked my body is invisible, replaced by a large red triangle with a white circle in the middle. If I'm wearing normal clothes, only my hands become triangles. This is after installing CBBE from Nexus using the mod manager. Only other mods I have in play which could be affecting it are armorsmith extended and something to recolor synth armor. But this happens even without any armor on at all. EDIT: And when I disable every single mod except CBBE it still happens.

Thanks again! I basically understand how it works, but coming up with a way to make it happen will take a little thinking. In any case, yes, I want to fix that eventually I'm running into a weird problem nobody else seems to have yet... Optima Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Okay, I figured it out. This was a weird file permission problem. My Nexus Mod Manager was using a directory from an old hard drive moved from an old computer which for some reason I need to grant admin rights just to read files in the Games directory. ...that sounds insane and yes, it is. I wiped everything, reinstalled NMM to a different drive, reinstalled CBBE, no more red triangle. Yay!
Sayman Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 CBBE + BodySlide is very cool! What about "tits" animation like (t)bbb when walk, run, etc?
Wish Upon a Star Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 in bodyslide, i see option dream girl, what is it do for ??, any1 know ??
Snazzishoez Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Pull up the Pip-boy, poof! Manly hand, gone.
leatherliz Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 So, first time ever playing with bodyslide/outfit studio (stuck with UNP for most of Skyrim). Pretty nifty. Huge kudos to caliente and crew. Am I right in assuming that Outfit Studio will allow me to take clothes/armors modeled in, say, Blender (saved as .obj) and convert them into a playable .nif? Lastly, I started fiddling with the vanilla vault suit in Outfit Studio and it turns out the blue part of the jumpsuit, the yellow part of the jumpsuit and the lettering are all separate meshes. Is there a way to manipulate them all at the same time with the deform brushes? Otherwise it makes gaps in the suit that are hard to fix.
Broccoli Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Hi all! Thanks so much for all the feedback and help testing out the alpha version of CBBE and Bodyslide for fallout 4!! As you are likely aware, I've posted a release on fallout 4 nexus: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15/?! I'll probably upload a mirror here soon as well. Fixes for release include a large improvement in wrist and neck seams, and a swath of vanilla outfits that show skin were fully converted to cbbe and sliders. Note the outfits are using the low res vanilla meshes so will look rather bad with many "extreme" shapes, so you may want to create smaller shapes for outfits Also, outfit studio is once again activated, and will work very well for creating custom sliders and converting vanilla outfits. It also can create custom bodies and outfits from standard meshes in obj and fbx format, though this can be tricky/buggy... I will try and improve this workflow over time. Of course, if you have a mod that modifies cbbe files or uses outfit studio to get custom content into the game you are more than welcome to distribute those mods as you see fit... Please credit and link original mod page please Hope you all enjoy the mod, and let me know what problems you encounter! First of all, thank you very much to you Caliente cell, and the team that made Bodyslide possible on FO4 And yeah it would be really nice if you could upload it here at our lovely community LoversLab as well I'm quite curious i wonder does Skyrim Bodyslide SliderPresets work with FO4 ? or we have to recreate?
Caliente Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 in bodyslide, i see option dream girl, what is it do for ??, any1 know ?? It's a popular body from skyrim that someone made a preset to mimic, I believe, and cell chose to include it in the release presets, along with Bombshell.

Yep, it can take .obj files and eventually get them into nif files (the body was created in that manner). There are some tricky steps along the way, and bugs, but it's certainly possible! I think a tutorial for the process will be along eventually, and some of those bugs will be squashed. Nope, there's no way to sculpt across multiple shapes at the same time. Can be frustrating and difficult. Generally, conforming will keep parts together, so one option is to create a slider on a third, reference mesh, and make a sculpt approximating the result you want, then conform the original meshes to that reference. A much easier way, and super secret way (new feature, not documented) is to sculpt the shapes separately and carefully, trying to keep verts close to each other. Then, while the blue dot of the sculpting brush is over a vertex you want to be matched by another vertex, hit SHIFT-V. switch to the other shape and hover over the vert you want to match to the other, and hit CTL+V.... snaps the verts together. Possibly even easier is to export the shapes as .obj files, modify them in an application that's got more mature editing tools, and reimport them into outfit studio, replacing the vertices of each shape.
Ramses Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Thanks for the updates, Caliente! Looking forward to more of your mod, excellent work amigo!

I think they do, to some degree , though they will look quite different. Notably, the butt slider has been reversed in action (in skyrim, increasing "butt" technically made it smaller. Same for "Breasts") Additionally, the overall posture of the body has changed, so things that looked good in skyrim won't look that great in fallout. Your best bet might be to open the preset .xml for reference and manually re-make the preset.
Danariel Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 in bodyslide, i see option dream girl, what is it do for ??, any1 know ?? It's a popular body from skyrim that someone made a preset to mimic, I believe, and cell chose to include it in the release presets, along with Bombshell. Eu4oric made it at my request - though he also made another shortly thereafter with fixed, "taller" shoulders, as well that I think was supposed to be his final. Very happy to see it, and his 7base preset, included in the Release!
popcorn71 Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 I was just taking a look as some of the outfits in bodyslide and found that the courser outfit has a peaty huge seem arouse the middle/upper torso area. No idea if its visible in game.
Guest Mogie56 Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Well Christmas has come early and or Just in time for. WOOT. would of posted earlier but lost track of time playing....I mean experimenting with Bodyslide ( ^ Y ^ ) Thank you for all the hard work in putting this together and Congratulations on your release.

No idea if its visible in game. I've found that if I start on an outfit or the nude body, then swap to another outfit, I have to close out of BodySlide, and re-open it (it reopens on the same thing you were looking at when you exited.) I hit Preview again, and it shows up correctly.
Uka Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 I just downloaded the official release version and wanted to say thanks to everyone involved! I ran into something interesting upon upgrading my Bodyslide to the newest version. Not sure what is causing it, even tried reinstalling it. ::EDIT:: DISREGARD! In my haste to install the new files I didn't realize there were some loose files I had left behind. Seems to be working well! lol
cold steel Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Caliente, thank you very much for your awesome tools and release ^-^ Guys, maybe someone here can help me to find a way on how to create new slider with blender untill there is no niftools to import/export nifs. I am using Outfit studio to export body mesh like .obj and trying to use blender to edit vertex positions, but every time I export new .obj even without any changes I can't correctly export it to fit the same size like default object. Maybe someone know which blender options I need to use to correctly import object file and correctly export it to use in outfit studio like new slider shape? P.S. sorry for my bad english.
jotunnqi Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Thankyou for the release team. I notice when setting slm to particularly thin or muscular (ie anything away from direction of large from center) it cause flattening of the breasts which can end up with clipping on the underboob, most noticeable with grognak outfit. Never noticed any such flattening in the alpha releases. Thought I would point it out incase it hadn't been noticed yet. Edit: Added a pic to show what I mean, I tested it with default CBBE body too, same result.
Elanzer Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Awesome work, been waiting for this for a while! Although I do have a few questions and an error to report. When viewing the outfits in bodyslide, some of them show the body clipping through while some of them don't, however they all appear fine ingame when building. Same thing with outfit studio - they all show heavy clipping, but when adjusting the outfits to get rid of the clipping, they end up looking much fatter, while the clipping version is the "correct" version that shows up fine ingame. Does anyone else get this or is this just me? Also, the Vault-Tec lab coat after building causes an instant CTD for me, I'm not sure what's causing it exactly but if I try to equip it the game instantly shuts down.
Whisper696 Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 ROFL! It's already got nearly 17k downloads. :-)
