Huh again.  She shouldn't be using idle markers either.  Point A to Point B and no comments to you unless you click on her.  I just checked both of her travel packages.  Go to the markers without any bullshit; that's what they are telling her to do.  Depending on what mods you have installed, you may be getting an AI stall from her as she looks for pathing and processes everything around her.  If you're using a mod that adds buildings or other shit NPCs have to walk around that aren't in the vanilla game then it's going to cause problems with any mod that uses the same cell.  She might be trying to process two nav meshes; the vanilla one I used and the one other mod(s) changed.  That's gonna cause problems and because she's a CGI robot she's going to go into default mode.  That's an open sandbox package for idle markers, special furniture, eating, sitting on chairs, or whatever.  A fewseconds later gets her shit together and does what my mod tells her to.

 

I guess I need to add to the disclaimer this mod doesn't take into account city overhauls or anything else that changes what I didn't.  That's on the downloader to figure out becuase I'm not making patches for mods I don't use.  ;)

Yea, ETAC makes her walking longer rote since that mod placed certain objects and buildings in and around city(es). That's way she walked around to the meeting point. Beside that, I had no issues with her.

Yeah, I suspect its the town mod doing it, though I've had luck with some other mods... and no luck with others. Most of the time, added buildings are avoided by other NPCs, and yours does get to where she goes... but that's why I bring up the AI. I don't know if/how that can affect quest stages, but it would explain me stopping her splitting wood, but she goes to do the next thing before yours catches her and overides it.  I've had something similar with other NPCs, where they'll start to do their normal thing before stopping and doing what they should.

Yea similar to mine, I am heavily modded too though. Try this.

Telka - sometimes to initiate the dialogue again, talk to the bar lady again and the dialogue will trigger
Aurelia - wait for her to get out of the winking skeever

Abelone - talk to the sailor on the boat again about the bed warmer to get it to reset

Also the scene with Abelone is floating like 1m (3 feet) off the air for me..

You have some whacky shit going on in your game.

Valga in Falkreath shouldn't have any dialogue options for talking to Tekla (none of the NPCs should) after you talk to Tekla the first time.  The same is true for Abelone.  Once you talk to her the dialogue for the other NPCs should vanish.  Those lines of dialogue are quest stage specific and once said they advance the quest to the next stage.  You should only be seeing them once.

 

The scene with Abelone being in the air?  That's Sexlab or another animation mod because all this mod does is call on the animations you have that use the framework.  This mod's scripting is all basic auto fill and doesn't adjust the XYZ postitioning of the characters.  :-/

 

Aurelia will not deal with your character unless she is carrying her basket.  No basket, no lines other than 'I'm not selling flowers right now.  Talk to me when I'm carrying my basket'.

Is it possible to make a esm for this? I want to add vanilla voices, clothing, skin-tones etc... but I would constantly have to update the mod each time you do. This is so much better then Prostitutes of Skyrim.

Any plan to add some "gigolò" too?

 

Considering how many female warriors there are (not counting a female Dragonborn like me (*)) is could be a nice idea.

Good candidates could be some beggars too, like Brenuin in Whiterun and Agrenor in Windhelm.

I'm not going to make this and esm, but there is nothing stopping you from loading your desired esp into TES5Edit and making my esp a master.  If you did that it wouldn't matter what changes I made, your esp would read it as an esm.

 

And I didn't know about that mod on Nexus.  It seems rather dull and whores over-populated.  Glad you like my mod though.  ;)

*sad face*  I don't wanna add dudes, BUT when I do the brothel there will be males.  A bard (who doesn't sing...thank God), a bouncer/bartender, the guy who runs the place, and all of the guards will be male.  It wouldn't be that much more work to add dialogue options for them to roger your tune if you wanted them to.

 

And I'm rethinking my previous stance on player prostitution and I might include it.  It WOULD NOT be like other mods here at LL though.  It wouldn't hi-jack your toon's life and make the game unplayable and it wouldn't be forced on her (do it or don't).  It would be more like a slut-hobby than anything else.  :D

I suspect you never have tried the mod TDF Prostitution and Pimping by TheDriedFinger. I suggest you to give it a try.

I play male characters and I rarely use followers.  They get in the way too much for my play style.  But when I do have a follower she's female and she's MINE.  Just like in RL I ain't gonna share.  That's why I know next to nothing about what other modders may or may not have done.  That stuff is 100% off my radar.

Well, one of the interesting feature of the mod I wrote above is that you, even if male player, could "pimp" whoever female NPC in the game (with some exceptions like Jarls).

So, you don't have to involve your "own" female follower (Hmmm... a bit of medioeval mind here, maybe? :D ), but you can "use" other females that are not followers nor potential followers.

I would have to suggest that you at least read the TDF AP mod page if not install it for a short play session. It might be what you're talking about developing, and it unless you were going to do something different or needed to implement the functions in your own mod to make something work, why duplicate the work.

 

On the other hand, I think something implied TDF wasn't working on the mod anymore, considering it completed, and it might be a thing to pick up and continue with if you really wanted to do so.

She's a repeater like the others.

 

Try this consoling:

setstage K2TavernDawnstarAbelone 60

 

and if the quest doesn't reset them try;

setstage K2TavernDawnstarAbelone 30

 

The first one worked for me at first.  After we were done I waited until she'd walked back to her wood splitting and tried a second time, and the stage 60 did not work, but 30 did.

 

Then again I had to waill until after midnight to get into Dawnstar this time... for some reason it and Morthal are crash city for me often.

 

 

 

Started a new session just to see what morthal and dawnstar are like without ETAC.... had the game lock up on me 15 mins in (Started in windhelm as a dunmer refugee via LAL) entering Candle hearth hall so that's still an issue...

 

nevermind

 

Got to dawnstar, engaged with Abelone... waited till she went back to the yard with the chickens and tried to talk to her again.  Your dialog option was not present.  It is 9:27 am game time, checked the quest stage.. it is at 60.  Went back to the miner I first asked about bed warming and he did not have that dialog, so I guess that part is working at least.

 

Any other blocking things I should check?

Nothing I'm aware of, but i have less than 20 mods in my game so I'm probably not aware of a lot.

 

If you look on the upload page under the individual city names I added the setstage work around for each quest in a new spoiler.  You'll have to rely on that until I complete the next update.

 

As far as looking at other modders' works I really don't want to.  I have own take on things and a specific plan for the mod.  I do have a base idea for player prostitution and it will be more along the lines of a story-driven quest.  It won't just fucking random NPCs.

I have voiced about 10 lines for Tekla. I am uploading the audio files just so I can see what you think. This is obviously not going to be the same as your original text. It's not perfect yet, I'm probably going to go back and refine it more, but it's the best I can do with what I got.

:-/  I don't have a use for them.  Making this a voiced mod needed to happen at inception, not as an afterthought.  I listened to them and I do appreciate the effort though.  It's just that going back and editing dialogue isn't something I'm willing to do.

It's no big deal, I know how to do it myself. I'll just use them in my game. I was mainly just curious.

Well, this is going better and better.

When I read Abelone's story I had an "instictive" wish to help her to be free from Thoring.

 

 

Even though she's pirate scum and a criminal?  :P  Yeah, I know.  I wrote it and when I went in game I instantly felt sorry for her.

 

I'm working on the final hooker now and her story is just as 'moving' but it left me feeling a little off.  Like she's very mercenary and cavalier about the whole thing.  Kinda bizarre.  Her update is coming in the next few days.  Once that's out of the way I'll take a short break (to make sure she's not bugged in other peoples' games) and then I'll start on the brothel.

 

I already have the syllabi for the go-here-fetch-this vanilla style missions.  One mission will be recruiting the hookers the player has already met to come work in the brothel.  Each will have their own set of complications to work out.

 

 

 

I've seriously considered your inquiry about 'men' and I've decided to make the male NPCs at the brothel available for sex with female player characters.  They won't pay for it, but they'll do it.  I'm also hashing out player prostitution as radient missions with a set client list.  It will not be 'do it any time, anywhere with anyone'.  It will make sense.

Just wanted to say I love the look of these NPCs! They look so realistic compared to other mods.

 

A suggestion would be to add an MCM menu with an option to turn off each NPC's hook. Once I've found out about that working girl, there's no need to have the dialogue option still clutter every conversation.

I have a small problem that, after I go up to the second floor with Yasmin and we both are sitting on the chairs, the only thing she says is: "you do not belong in here" and nothing else.

 

Any help would be very helpfull.
