People, what do you think about to make horse schlong as separate project but not just a slider for TRX futa addon?

Actually, you have no choice here. Only to make it as separate addon.

Because of the normal maps.

Even if you deform the mesh, the light will still reflect as from the original object - because Skyrim uses object-space normal maps for characters bodies and parts.

In Fallout, it would work (because of tangent-space normals). But not in Skyrim.

I have choise. Its no problem at all. Any texture map can be changed via scripts with simple spell. One textures map package for regular shlong and other for horse shlong. Casting spell changes this texture packages directly in game. Or even manual changing textures and then using horse slider.

My motivation to separate theese two forms is next:

1. Morph (slider) must have same vertex count and vertex order as main model and this makes limitation of morphs forms.

2. One esp with two independed SOS addons and two BS projects.

3. Much more detailed horse model and quality textures + good skinning.

And that would be same as making a new addon. Well, except that you don't replace the esp file.

The thing with spells looks more interesting, but it will need to develop texture-swapping system for the NPCs too, not just for the player. And it's even better to make it automatic. In this case, it will be less time consuming to create a new addon.

And as you mentioned skinning... This will be another problem. Together with collisions.

Yep. Quest thing with enought amount of aliases but always limited. OnEquip events, Event Manager.... and other stuff. Technically its can be done but in this case its more head ache then solution.

Biggest problem is not in skinning or normalmaps or etc. It is in one simple thing - diffuse map :)  First of all. New full texture package for horse option is a completely obvious thing. In this experiment with slider i just whant to know for myself  - if this possible at all to make this form as slider. Yes it is. And skinning works well enought on it O_o Looks like vertex position differences are not enought for serious problems.

Anyway separate addon is much mor clean solution and giving me more possibilities for creating more detailed form. Besides of all im working now on universal package: male regular and horse versions + female regular and horse versions in one esp + options with pubick hairs for both.

Hi, I've been kind of lurking in this chat, but I just wanted to say that Nyl released their pp model. Not sure what program it is used in, but there is also a low Poly version. I don't know if anybody can do anything with it, and what permissions you need to get, but I just thought I'd share, in case anybody wanted to try to use it (probably ask permission first tho)

What version of skyrim you running? ive had tried legendary edition and SE but cant get it started, its just a headache to try to get all mods running

Well i run on se and saying that you can't get it started is not a lot of information to go on to help ya, do you know what a mod manager is? The mod manager I use is vortex. As for your other question for futa mods Here ya go. There are many others hidden in this thread that looks different but this mod has the most customization options through bodyslide
