By any chance, do you know where he got his face mods? Or did he make those? I've been looking for anime style faces like that, but I'm not seeing a link to them on his site. This is specifically what I'm looking for:

also saw that one set you said was called Jil armor from Jacksh any chance of a link as ive tried to find it but no such luck he is on LL but only has one post of a Taki armor

Its a body replacer - if you want to use them with armors and not replace the body mesh - learn using NIFskope.

I have them no more.. I dismanteled ANK castles .bsa archives and used wrist meshes from blackdeath armor as a raplacer for daedric.

But a question about the race mod, do you need the Monli race mod installed first or is this one a stand-alone as my game crahses when i go to select the race , it may be be another mod ill check through and see what happens but yeah

Are you placing it in zip form into you mod section and selecting it in nmm or are you unzipping it and turning it on that way? Some mods do don't work well with nmm while they are in zip form but unzipping them and manually adding them into the correct areas will work. Also have you added anything that is overwriting the monli that could also cause conflicts. Crashing could also mean a conflict or some files are missing.

I would try unzipping the file and manually adding them to your skyrim folder instead of selecting it in the nmm and remove the zipped form from wherever you have the zipped form at and trying it that way. Some zipped folder do not play well with nmm and need to be unzipped for them to work right.

Once you have them manually added and the zipped form turned off and removed make sure the esp is on and running boss could also help as well as it can sort out your load order. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/6

Seen a few people asking about body types. Remember armours have their own body shape so any installed armours you have will retain their proportions but fitted to the monli skeleton size.

 

If you want to have the monli character but with a different body type, all you have to do is go to the monli folder in meshes and change the femalebody_1.nif for whatever your preference, for example you could make one in the caliente bodyslide utility and place it in there. It will fit to the monli skeleton so it won't look exactly the same.

Bugs:

1) she will have a dark head. Use setnpcweight to temporarily fix it. Will reset when reloading the game or fast traveling.

2) she wears vanilla clothes by default. The only other clothes she can wear is what she was currently wearing when you changed her race to Monli.

 

So far those are the only bugs I found.

This thread is pretty amazing, and long First I'd like to thank Kashim for bringing this mod to us. Second, can anyone suggest cute outfits like the ones from Kashim's pictures (Such as that lovely underwear or the goth looking attire in his sig). Even though it breaks the lore I somehow can't see myself playing a loli character without cute outfits.

thank you for the mod but i guess im not able to use it the shiny hands kill it for me. i have tried a lot of stuff to try to fix it but nothing works. this is the only race mod that this does it on. i have used NMM and installed manually but it happens on both. i have downloaded the original monli mod and tried it out and its the same thing. i only have 13 mods installed. owell. here is a pic of what im talking about:

the hands shine when im standing in shadows or normal light/darker lighted places but not that easy to tell when im in direct sunlight because of how bright that i have it.

shinyness is due to the specularity map. I'm assuming your hands are glossy and you want them not to be. If it's the nails then you just have to edit the hands.dds file

 

To change glossiness, get the Caliente texture blender utility. Unfortunately it uses the file locations automatically, so backup and remove your files in textures/actors/character/female/

 

Once they're backed up (I .rar mine) paste your monli textures into the folder.

 

Now open tex blend and select specularity, follow the instructions in the readme, it's very simple, make sure to include hands as you go

 

now paste those files back to the monli folder

 

now restore your normal files from backup (unzip .rar?)

 

done.

thank you for mentioning that, though i was hoping to not do it but i did it and it fixed it thank you.

[edit] though doing the same thing with another race that i have the same problem with it does not work. it even uses the monli body.

I don't know if its the same issue, however after installing [Complete Loli v0.65] [uNP], because I want the followers mod which uses it neh.

The hands on my Monli become all purple/blue the color of the normal map.

I would love some help figurin out what the issue is.

Oh I also downloaded the ritter armor, cause if I make a character in that race, thats the armor she's gonna wear.

EDIT: well I played with install order and now its working right. Don't know what its issue was, but its a non issue now.
