CBBE Loli race (fixed)

I recently converted back to CBBE from UNP starting a new game (I love both). I've used Monli Race before, but I don't remember my character being as tall as the other base races in game. Looking at some of the examples shown, the Monli race pics show a shorter character too. Did I mess something up? Other than that I'm happy. My character looks gorgeous! Just trying to figure out why she's so tall. Anyone know what I might have done wrong?

 

edit: Nevermind. When I got back onto game the character was short. I have no idea how. Wasn't there some armor links to go with this mod? I noticed someone saying they were using UNP armors. I didn't think that could work. I'll try some stuff out.

Still having issues with my character going from tall to short, it's weird. Just today I noticed I couldn't go into 1st person view. I only use first person usually to pick up items or for ranged attack. No idea, this is new stuff going on.

 

New question. Are there any mods for companions of this race? I want some fellow Monli friends to accompany me in my adventures. I figure it's gotta be here on LL if so. I'll look around. Just thought I'd ask since didn't see anything in the little research I've done so far.

 

I know there's a console command to change companions race. That didn't work so well last time I did it. I ended up having bits of two races on a character when loading game from a save.

Download a cbbev3 mod with fishnets and get a new body texture with tattoos They're everyyyyywhere.

I'm now using the UNPB BBP body and it works great. Got the weight slider at 0 most of the time. You should give that body a try. It has got BBP but it's not over the top

The command should read setrace monlirace to change the npc to monli. I have done it on several occasions and it has worked fine. You might have to restart your game to get the change to work fully there are minor head issues.

by the way, I found a similar loli race X117bretoncustom mod in some Japanese filesharing sites, I installed it and my character got invisible body.

 

What do you think makes it invisible like that? the mesh or the texture? well I'm not a modder and I don't undestand Japanese either, but I will really appreciate your information regarding the glitch. Anyway thanks a lot for your mod!

 

one more thing, could you please tell me the race name for your mod to be used in the player.SetRace command? so I won't mess my character stats. Thanks.

 

EDIT: I found the race name and managed to use player.SetRace to change the race, but then everytime I use showracemenu to change appearance, the game crashed (CTD or simply freeze and nothing happens, have to end process). This only happens if I use player.SetRace before I use showracemenu and also only with the monli race, otherwise if I use showracemenu and manually select monli race, it works just fine and I can use showracemanu again without crash.

Could you please help me? I've upgraded the game to the latest version including Dawnguard, I really don't want to restart playing from the very beginning.

After transforming into a vampire for the first time, when I left the room, about to do the first task assigned by the vampire lord, everyone in the vampire castle started to attack me. Could that possibly be bugged because of this mod? Is there a fix?

As far as I know, they'll attack everyone that is not a vampire (perhaps try the Player.SetRace MonliRaceVampire, that is I hope you don't get CTD problem like mine if you use showracemenu afterward).

I brought a companion once and she's instantly attacked, although it can also be a bug, Serana the vampire lord's daughter got the same treatment once. I simply reload the game and it doesn't happen again.

Nope all of their games have that same problem every time you use the showracemenu stats get screwed up. Using tgm before using showracemenu might help you but I don't think it will for stat I think it only works for face settings .

I use Levelers Tower v28 by WillieSea if I want stats back that got screwed up by using showracemenu. There is one area in the tower that has a button for every stat 1 hand 2 hand and so forth and each time you click the button for that skill/stat your skill/stat will go up. There is also buttons for health stamina magic increases a remove crime button and may more cool things there.

EDIT: turned out it was apachiihair.esp that caused the CTD, I deleted it and everything works fine

Hi, thanks for replying. But it doesn't seem to work. I tried to disable Skyrim-redone mod too but no go. Tried to do the whole quest again too but also didn't help. Guess I'm gonna try to take assets from this mod to make a replacer for Nord race (it's ok right? since it's only private), reinstall the game, and leave everything vanilla.

Also have you tried turning off mods so many at a time starting the game and seeing if one of them is causing it if that doesn't work maybe trying to turn off all mods then re-turning on the monli one and see if that works. Sometimes files may get overwritten when adding them through the nmm so that there are different bits and pieces of one file with other files in it. Do you do nmm or do you do the drag and drop I myself do not use the drag and drop because after awhile it will overwrite the wrong files and screw things up.

Some how I think I have changed the mod order so it got messed up. Also the face texture doesn't match body's anymore...

Yesterday I experimented with the showracemenu and player.SetRace (trying to fix CTD actually, the cause was too many hair styles).

I changed the race to Monli, went to Volkihar then got attacked.

 

I found this in skyrim wiki about the showracemenu (probably it affects set.playerrace too):

 

Using this command to alter one's race will reset skills and health/magicka/stamina to default levels. This command can be safely used to alter a character's appearance without causing any unwanted side-effects as long as race is not changed. However, it should be noted that upon completing your changes and choosing a name for your character, all temporary active effects (such as Gift of Charity or shrine blessings) will be removed. Racial resistances will no longer be listed in Active Effects until the game is loaded from the main menu, at which time racial resistances will be automatically reapplied. Permanent active effects such as those from guardian stones or perks will not be lost. Active effects granted from enchanted items will not be listed until the items are re-equipped.

 

I saved the game in a new slot then restart the game. It works fine for me, I don't get attacked anymore.

 

otherwise you can try to restart the becoming a vampire quest (play from the beginning of Dawnguard), then after you walk out of the castle (go somewhere further, I suggest), make a new save then restart the game.

The fair-skin-complexion might not be what I need, I installed it and now my monli has her nipples 1/2 feet higher than where it'supposed to be, she looks like she has 4 nipples xD.

 

For the vampire quest, I selected the not-to-be-vampire option to avoid the bug, and then later in the quest I can still be a vampire (when the daughter asks, not father). It's still buggy now I guess, but kinda cool, after becoming a vampire, I did the Companion quest, and became a werewolf... so now I can switch, to be vampire or not to be at any time I want to (just need to transform into werewolf and transform back to human, vampire status will be gone, but still one skill is kept: Vampire Lord, so I can change back to vampire, btw, to change back to a full vampire I need to trigger it by feeding on a sleeping human).

I think I may know why you guy's were attacked were you by chance stage 4 vampires? I was in the dwemer quest so didn't feed when I got back from the quest and entered the castle and ran through the doorway I was attacked on the spot which seem pretty fricken stupid since you are all fricken vampires but whatever guess we can chalk it up to another fail from the makers of the game.

 

So I hit re-load opened inventory and drank some blood vials went through the doorway and no attacking. Glad I had the bottle that blood mod so all I had to do is use console command to add some human blood bottles to inventory and drink them.
