siframe Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 She's put on some weight lol. Sorry, couldn't resist. Unfortunately I'm no help here. Funny things happen with quiet's models too. With the 3dm thong mod installed for example most of the time she's dressed in her default outfit, but in the shower sequence she changed into the thong model, then back into her usual appearance in her cell. Someone else here said that her motherbase outfit was constantly affected by that mod though, so is it a matter of finding several models and textures?

Have you installed the quiet player pack he mentions in his description? Are you using the latest qar tool? And have you tried switching buddies as he himself suggests in the posts there? You're asking on the wrong forum anyway.

siframe Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Very strange behaviour seems to be exhibited by the model for Quiet as a buddy. This is what I posted in the Nexus forums about the nude Quiet: Seems to work ONLY if you use the model swap at the same time. What works for me is this: At loadout screen, select D-Dog as buddy, then switch from Snake to model swap Quiet- at this point nude mod Quiet should appear as the player character. Then if you switch your buddy back to Quiet the modded model will be used there too. However if I then switch out from the model swapped character (to a DD soldier or Snake) when you return to the game Quiet will be in her normal outfit. Weird huh?

It seem mgsv loads different textures based on settings. Changed to max, still the same, the shoulder/armpit textures seem to be more evident as you can see the edges

In other words; using any mod will get you permanently banned from the game and furthermore stripping away any rights you had previously. Yes. Now if the checksum of the dat files is not the original one, you get banned from playing the online game AND GETTING UPDATES! The first time you start the game, you will be asked to "Accept" the new terms. If you don't, you can still play the game, but all MB will be not usable, and if you paid for them, you lose your money. If you accept, then every time you start the game, the check is done. And if the checksum is not the original one, you get a warning message (only an OK button) and you get banned form the online game (and the updates.) Probably i will never buy again a Konami game. I understand the "do not cheat in FOB missions", but why I cannot change some models and textures only to enjoy more the game? I am out with this game (I have only 2 missions left to complete, I will complete them, and then uninstall the game to save space for the upcoming Fallout 4.)
siframe Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Worth noting perhaps that running steam in offline mode avoids the terms agreement altogether, although that does lock you out of FOB related stuff like combat deployment. As I never had any interest in the online components of the game anyway it's a fair trade as far as I'm concerned. Having said all that konamis attitude is totally unnecessary, and seems a knee-jerk reaction to their inability to cope with the online cheat mods, so yeah I'll think twice about supporting their products in the future. Modding like all things is a balance between good and evil, for all the cheating there's also extra game sales for things that can be modded, and the longevity of a game is hugely increased. Would anyone really still be playing oblivion if it weren't for mods?!

"New" TOS? You read wrong, they were last updated on the 01/09/2015. That's the day the game was released. quote form steam forum i played all day and i am not banned nor is my save file deleted or whatever. maybe they will do something in the future but for now i wouldnt jump on that fear train. and yeee 1st post here too. i am a social attack helicopter today....

I am using the so called nude quiet mod offline but its not nude and is very poor quality, so I hope a modder gives us a fully nude mod with detailed genitals for female characters >legendgamer please finish your nude mod, all games need eye candy

That's sad news, sorry to hear you were caught out, but I thank you for the warning. I'll be making absolutely certain I set steam to offline before I start the game, that's for sure. Hope you didn't have anything invested in the online stuff.
