Yeah, I thought the code may be an issue, but i can't complain, i only can code in c, basic lua, and HTML. Good job with what you have, but maybe you can ask more experienced modders, like Doctorsax.

I can't get Fenris to spawn in the Coyote cave. Can someone please give em a proper walktrough with details on how to make him appear? Or can I just use console commands to summon him?

I'm sorry I can't remember off the top of my head exactly what triggers his arrival. If you've gotten the giant gecko meat for the coyote alpha, been accepted into the pack and turned in a few pups to the den mother then it really shouldn't take much more than waiting about a week in game. I should be able to lookup the exact trigger for you sometime in the next ~24 hours if you haven't figured it out before that.

That is it. you have to turn in some pups to the den mother then wait a week in game I believe then Fenris will come.

 

That's another thing. I try to turn in pups and I feel it doesn't work correctly. I talk to the pups and the thing appears "this pup will be owned by the den mother next time you talk to her" I talk to her and there is no option or anything. I can just say goodbye. Then I waited in game for over a week and nothing happened. I'm completely lost here. I feel like I'm the only one with this problem, I read the whole support thread and no one had a similar issue. Thanks for responding btw. Really appreciate it. I hope you have a solution.

As I recall you can't turn in pups to the den mother unless you are officially a member of the pack. I believe you get a message after talking to the coyote alpha at some point that tells you you've been accepted into the pack and may now turn in pups to the den mother.

 

Yes.. there is a mini quest. You kill the giant gecko, get "pile of meat" and offer it to the alpha then mate. Then you get the message you are accepted into the pack then when you have pups you can turn them into the den mother. If you aren't accepted you can't turn them in or if you do nothing happens (fernis wise that is).

The code may not be pretty, but it does get the job done. I don't have the time or patience to go through and rescript the whole mod, but luckily it doesn't need that it just needs a bit of patch work which I've largely finished with at this point.

So the sex scene after turning in the Giant Gecko Meat is not me being accepted into the pack?

Okay I got around to looking it up just now. After the sex scene you get from turning in the giant gecko meat you must speak to the coyote alpha again. You will receive a greeting that starts with "you have proven your usefulness to the pack" and goes on to say "you have been officially accepted into the pack". Once you receive this greeting you are a full fledged pack member and may at that point turn in pups to the den mother. You should get a message shortly after turning in your first pup to the den mother that says the pup is growing quickly and to return in about a weeks time. Wait a week and Fenris will appear in the den.

The site gives all the info on all the files you will need for SCR and pregnancy. strongly recommended to go through and make sure you have all of them installed. There is a downloadable PDF for more details if you need it. Double check the second thread for any patches that have come out since the upload. Apply those after installing the main file from the OP.

its possible to bring more content to fenris part and the big horner ranch ? like an other den and the possibility to be hunt by proffesional hunters ( after the mutations you are basically a monster who can be dangerous for the locals and there animals ) , and for the big horner ranch the possibility to be milked every day ( like a real cow ) and if it can overwrite the travel to jacobstown its not a problem i think .

Sorry, for the time being I have no plans to expand any of the mods content. Only to restore the content that was working prior to the mod falling into disrepair. If your looking for new content look at Fertile Breeder, pepertje is always expanding that.

You can also start practicing on modding and such. What you are discussing is just quest and dialogue basic parts of modding. Once gamerdude is done updating this you can then create a patch to add content or episodes based on his finished product? The same goes for others that have great ideas for expanding the various stories of Sexout Breeder.

 

Dont fear the creation of a mod it takes time and effort but doable. I have been here a number of years and helped encourage many to start modding and they have gone so very far. You can too. It is the best way to get the game the way you want it. Also as an added benfit you can make changes to your own copies of various mods to make it more what you want without even releasing them. That is one hell of a bonus for someone to learn how to GECK. ;).

So I'm having some weird bugs with the Deathclaw Promontory line. First is that one of the two Deathclaw Praetorians will dissapear after having sex with it for some reason. As well, eventually I can't actually do anything. It won't let me have sex with any of them (when I use the conversations to have sex it won't actually initiate sex with any of them), and this problem extends to Lucy as well, and it won't let me masturbate or anything like that. As well, but I'm not sure if this is a problem to do with this or not, but for some reason my pregnancy percentage freezes and won't progress. I thought, at first, that this pregnancy freezing might have been linked to deathclaw cum withdrawal, but I'm not so sure now. I don't think that it's the problem of the pregnancy mod because I've been able to have my character get pregnant and give birth without problem before. Don't know if this problem is known or not, just thought I'd bring it up just in case it's just me, or there's a fix that I am unaware of.

Those are all common sexout issues your describing. They can be dealt with to an extent. The first thing you should do is reset sexout pregnancy in its mcm menu. Then you should access you inventory via the console and remove any and all items that have sexout in the name. You should also do this for the inventories of anyone you were previously unable to have sex with just to be safe. With any luck that should solve the issues you're having.

Anyway, I'm just wondering if you've got an updated ETA on Riverside? I was looking forward to that, after finally getting back to F:NV. I would also like to offer my services, meager as they may be, in helping recode the mod. This would be my first FNV mod, so I'd have to take time to get familiar with the GECK, but I can hopefully help with at least the minor stuff, like hunting down bugs from reports.

I've got a lot of personal shit going on right now, and I also released a mod over on the nexus that has taken up most of my moddiing time recently. The good news is that the early reports I've gotten on the Riverside content suggest that it's in much better shape than I would've guessed. 

 

If you still want to help just let me know, and I'll add you to the test thread. I can always use testers, and anyone with any actual coding experience is a great asset to me. Even though I'd like to think I've become fairly adept at scripting FNV mods in the past couple years, I have absolutely zero experience with any of the real stuff outside of FNV.

 

 

p.s. BTW I'm very impressed if actually read all 35 pages. I think I need to be paid to read it all in one go. :lol:

The good news is that the early reports I've gotten on the Riverside content suggest that it's in much better shape than I would've guessed.

A while back, you opined on how using secondhand code is like trying to repaint the Mona Lisa, or something like that, and let me tell ya, I agree with that 1000%. I wanted to add a feature to EnderIO, so it had to play nice with it, and trying to figure out where I was able to add my code was PAINFUL. In the end, I jury-rigged it in, but I'd basically rewritten a quarter of the mod to make it work. Let's just say I'm not eager to do that again, and I COMPLETELY understand the issues you may be having....

 

One thought that occurred to me as I'm typing this. Do you know if Beasts of Burden is compatible with this mod? It sounds like it'd have a lot of conflicts, just from a glance at the description.

I have no info or better described as limited info and understanding of the GECK. I can do some minor things. Anyway. I have helped test the new versions he is working on and didn't need to know the GECK to do so. There is a debug and if you are able to do some basic processes for testing to help resolve conflicts and assure that your reports are truly reports on the mod being tested I doubt there will be much more for you to do unless you wanted to and understood and willing to try. :). Of course Gamerdude711 would have to chime in on this in the end.

 

Likely he could use many more testers that are really willing to test. this might mean going over the same section of the game 100 times. ;). And help resolve what is going on and to be sure it is from the game. This is because many have moved on or have other RL issues while he was working on Beast of Burden. I don't even have a FNV install modded to test :P

If you have the opportunity and desire to advance this mod, and willing to put in the work to test and retest etc I encourage you to take this opportunity. He is an excellent mod author to work along with testing mods.

I should hope beast of burden is compatible with sexout breeder since I do all my testing with both mods enabled at this point. :lol: Seriously though I see no reason why there would be a compatibility issue between the two. The only mods likely to have compatibility issues with BoB are other weight management mods, and as far as I know none of those exist.  If any do exist though I don't recommend using them alongside BoB since that would be like trying to wear 2 shoes on the same foot, not good.

For some strange reason, this mod conflicts with 'Better Looking Boone'.  Given the premise of the mod, I didn't think this was intentional or does Boone play a part somewhere in the mod?
