Hi guys,

 

I had this mod working a few months ago but recently did a fresh install of pretty much all my mods. For whatever reason this time, this mod and aroused are not appearing in my mcm. i have used jaxonz mcm kicker and tried the command as well as reinstalling both mods several times without success through a mod manager and manually. Can anyone help me with ideas on how to fix this.

when you did a fresh install did you play skyrim vanilla first before enabling all the mods?

No, but for some reason i tried installing them again just after i put this post up and they worked completely fine this time. Didn't do anything differently so not sure what caused the problems

It sounded like really good advice, but after trying to do the conversion to SE and doing the steps you described, with the resulting ESP activated in the load order (I have it with masters Skyrim.esm, Update.esm, SexLab.esm and SexLabaroused.esm ), I get a CTD every time I start the game. If I uncheck it, it launches with no issues, so I know this must be the issue... All the masters are there and activated... Is there something I am missing? How can I check what causes the CTD?

Sorry to bother, but can someone explain me how exactly Dibella's Bow ench. work? As I understood ... I need to have sex to increase its power? if so after becoming champion and got the bow, had sex with like 15different people, didnt see any damage increasement

Hi. A potential little glitch here, Carlotta Valentia is added by DEC as a follower automatically(Happens to Hadvar to but it doesn't affect him at all in terms of dialogue). That on its own is a DEC issue, which I dealt with temporarily by manually clearing my follower list through DEC's MCM.

 

The part that concerns SLEN is that she greets me like we're married- Her default dialogue without ever having talked to her before, has changed to "Yes my love?", "Life in Skyrim is harsh but at least we have each other" and so on... Then when I remove her from DEC's list, that stops but she also never greets using her unique lines about her troubles with Mikael ETC and reverts to generic NPC dialogue, she stops even talking about her wares. Just Hmm, Yes, Good Bye that sort of thing.

 

Not sure if other NPCs affected by SLEN have similar issues.

IIRC there has been a "problem" with Carlotta going way back, SLEN seems to boost her relationship rank to 4. One way of "re-setting" her that works is to take the favor-quest she has. When that's complete her relationship rank resets to 1, as in vanilla post-quest. AFAIK that's all you have to do and she's the only one I know of. I'm not familiar with DEC so I can't say what it may add to the mix.

Iv'e never heard of DEC so like Vithiss i cannot comment on what that does, but do you have Interesting NPC's installed?  if so that mod makes Carlotta a 'lover' of the player for reasons the mod author would/could not give an answer to... but anyways if you have that mod then that will be the cause of her gushing affection for the player.

Surprising. I would have never pointed INPCs as a possible suspect, especially when other mods in my LO are all about NPC disposition... So to speak. Just as you said, I can't imagine why it would need to tamper with Carlotta in particular.

Well thanks. I never imagined that 3dnpcs was the culprit but, the "fix" of doing her quest still resets her for me, (edit: I just did it yesterday) just fyi.

Yeah that works, I did her mini quest to reset her as well, now I don't use INPC and never will again, not because it's bad, mostly cause I met one guy outside Dawnstar, his dialogue was so filled with self loathing and pity I just had to kill him and put him out of his misery, then deleted the mod.

Does the 'Lover's Surprise' event always use the maximum number of potential participants, or will it randomly choose within that range?

Pretty sure it always picks the maximum, altho the size of the group that you get is restricted by the largest animation you have installed for the genders involved.  So if you only have female characters participating for instance, you'd need to have some female-only 3P+ animations to see anything larger than a pair.

I get that too with certain NPC's, Aduri Sarethi is one that it keeps telling me is 'dead' when I click to clean my recent partners list ( Yet she will still get invited to parties ).... no fix for it that I know of.

Can anyone point me at such things (female-only 3P+)? I never had this problem in Oldrim, but SexLab Light doesn't seem to run to more than two participants at a time, and all the animation packs that I've looked at seem rather more, er, extreme than I'm interested in.

I do sometimes, if there is enough script lag that (I suspect) it isn't able to figure out how many people are around and what my options should be. If I use that option it will give the normal choices, but I do not get it all that often.

Some NPCs are not as persistant as others, so that's what I'd suspect is going on. It can't find her when outside of the cell she should be in, but when looking at the list of NPCs available for the party (a separate list I think) it can still summon / spawn her just as if you had used the console PRID and moveto player (which you can do with a disabled or dead NPC, and then enable/resurrect).

Not all of the packs have been converted over to SE I think, and as far as I know, there is only 1 3-female anim though you can change the tags on others so MMF can use a second female with a strapon. If the SLATE mod hasn't been converted over, you might have to look at editing the SLAL pack xml files themselves to add the tags. Easy enough to do with quite a few directions around.

Nibble's FFF Threesome animation is AFAIK the only true lesbian 3P animation (no strapons or crazy machines ect).  Pfiffy looks to have uploaded his unofficial conversion here (https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/5710-sir-nibbles-anim-pack-se/).  I don't believe there are any 4P or 5P pure lesbian animations.

That's what SLAL needs. More purely lesbian animations of all numbers rather than ones that assign a "male" role to women participants by giving them a strap-on or SOS schlong.

I tried this in SE and it loads up, MCM works, etc but when I use a SLEN dialog option to initiate sex the characters strip and then I get a CTD.  I was using Sexlab SE 1.63 with SOS Lite, SLAL, Sexlab Aroused Redux, and about 4 or 5 different animation packs (SLAL detected them and registered a bunch of animations).  Not sure if I installed something wrong or if SLEN isn't compatible with SE.  I'm using Flower Girls as well and that works fine.

CTD's rarely are actually caused by the last mod to appear in the papyrus log, unless it is an error message.  Often the actual cause leaves no papyrus trace because it actually crashes your game when it happens, not giving it a chance to log the problem.  More important is what is actually happening in-game when it crashes - did you just fast travel, start a sex scene, trigger an event ect.

 

You can change some settings to make the mod less papyrus heavy - turn off SOS integration on mouse-over and Virtual Sexlife would be my recommendation as both add a fair amount of papyrus work for features you may not be using.

 

As for "good" alternatives?  Not in my opinion, there are a few mods that might offer some similar features but none in my experience are as well implemented.
