How was it unstable? what was the problem? we could help you out. CTD in race menu when selecting hairs, when exiting the game. HDT extension save sometime results as a save when CTD. Did you try ShowRaceMenu Precache Killer ? This one helps with Hair mods. As for the HDT extension resulting as a save when CTD i have not gotten that here and months. Maybe you are using an older version of Racemenu? Googling shows that if you are using an older version of RaceMenu (Version older than 2.1.5) will cause crashes. That is no longer need for me as I already use the latest racemenu and it started doing it when I installed the Floppy 2.0 and selecting the HDT hairs mod I use. You don't think I keep mods up to date.

I think them main problem people are having are memory leaks, after a while skyrim will just crash while walking around with a 1.5 to 2 GB hdt dump log. I get that after half an hour of game-play, I had to clean save and install version 1.7 again.

Precache killer is not needed as the latest Racemenu already has it built in it. I gave it up more than a year ago.
nb097 Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 FWIW, I finally realized that he included an hdtPhysicsExtensions.dll that includes some other functions that his scripts call, and if you don't overwrite the one included by HDT 14.28, you'll have all sorts of errors in your Papyrus log (errors about global native function "addNamedSystem" and "removeNamedSystem"). Overwriting the default one fixed that, and none of my other HDT stuff seemed to break (breasts, butt, hair, tail). Now I just need to figure out how to slow down the updates for actor states; right now in sex scenes it looks like actors flaccid/erect state is being updated 20 times a second...

Genebaldo Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 I managed to enable floppify effect after installing and uninstalling many times, but only with the command "shift + del" using the magic does not work. Now the problem is that is causing CTD when entering any loading screen while playing. (Back to version 1.7 again ...)

For me, after 2-5 minutes or up to 10 minutes of play, my game just stops (forcing me to CTRL+ALT+DEL), rather than CTD (which I used to get a lot). This never happened before Floppy 2.0. I've tried rolling back with no luck, I get the same issue, even starting a new game. Is anyone else dealing with this same issue? I'll have more time this week to really dig into it and see if Floppy 2.0 is really the culprit.

If they are really hindering your gameplay, stick with 1.7 for now. However, please do post your load order (if possible the entire list of mods, not just the ones that have esp's) and SKSE version. tl;dr at bottom Okay, after playing with this a little more, I've noticed a CTD that I can trigger consistently. Best I can describe the issue While leveling my professions I had to sleep and wait, and I noticed that using either of these causes the game to CTD eventually. If I don't crash during the sleep/wait menu, the performance of the game will drop in performance, both in FPS and it will start chugging or stuttering. At this point the game will eventually crash while running around, or eventually during a sleep/wait menu if I use them again. On my current save, it crashes almost every time I try to use sleep or wait after about 5 hours tick down. This leads to the game freezing, then after about 15 seconds it will silently close. A file will be generated in Mod Organizer's overwrite folder with the name, "hdtPhysicsExtensions.dmp" being anywhere from 1gb to around 1.7gb file size. Testing I've setup a rather barebones mod list for testing, as well as starting a new save game. The issue occurs on a new save, but it takes longer to trigger the CTD. I have to visit multiple cities and use wait or sleep quite a few times until the CTD occurs. If I save after each successful period of waiting, eventually I can get a save where waiting crashes the game very quickly, and mostly on the first try. I've attached the test loadorder, and papyrus logs from 3 different crashes, just in case. I could upload the latest dump file to mega or some other service as well, if you'd like to take a look at it, Jopie. Thanks again for 2.0, but I'll simply roll back to 1.7 for now. tl;dr, Waiting or sleeping continually drops performance and eventually causes a CTD, generating a file named "hdtPhysicsExtensions.dmp" around 1gb in size. Thanks a lot for this, I'm going to try it tomorrow. Right now I can't even reproduce the issue so it's kind of hard to find the cause

Slow downs sometimes when I enter new areas unexplored areas, but its more the fact I bumped my computer settings up to see the limits of my new video card.

Only crashed once in one of the bigger cities (was visiting Markarth at the time) but none since then. It did produce a huge dump file then, but haven't seen it pop up since...

To be more precise i installed it 30 minutes after Jopie123 uploaded Version 2.0, at the start i only started getting FPS Issues but then i fiddled a bit with the MCM Menu and the FPS issues vanished, but i didnt get any crash from FloppySoS. Or to be more frank, i kept getting crashes weeks ago(Before i installed this) but i dont get them anymore because i managed to fix the problems i had (Loot did incorrect load order for 4 mods and some mods kept fighting each-other because i forgot to tweak the MCM settings of these mods). Guys give us a papyrus log if its possible we might be able to find out the problem that way. Everyone has crashes this is Skyrim after-all so dont be discouraged by some crashes(When Skyrim was released i can assure you 95% never made it past Helgen due to the constant crashes). Do you use the SKSE memory fix together with ENB for memory fix? (I know you do i am just asking to be sure ) Did you try the Crash Fixes mod? If you use UUNP you need to have "AlignHeapAllocate=0" enabled[Change 0 to 1] else you will crash if you try to change sliders in the UUNP section of RaceMenu, but you can disable it after you finish. I am sorry that you keep getting crashes and cant enjoy the game
saviliana Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 I think I found why now: Most people who use manual erect will not get CTD, Most people who use auto (choose auto erect base on arouse or choosing the middle one will crash.) have high chance of CTD, Can be start looking form there.

But in in my game, it seems to keep turning away from the inside. Is there a specific hdt xml preset you'd recommend to fix that? I'm using cob pe hdt xml
