dewguru Posted August 25, 2015 Author Posted August 25, 2015 i think the assasins are way too overpowered. they have a 75% chance of succeeding without any risks attached. I learned that the hard way whn i pissed somebody off by having my plot revealed, which is enough to count as "rival". had to mod that out so my succubi could live for more than 1 year. Also: Can you give futas their own culture, which uses female portaits for males, and make any male created/born with that culture get the futa trait instead of using females? This would allow them to actually "work" as males but still look like a female. EDIT: There also does not seem to be any event which gives the succubi the immortal trait. Regarding assassins - don't piss people off, and if you do, fire first. I also don't see me lessening the 75%, although I will be adding different weights on whether or not the ai would be more likely to use them or not, and I'm thinking about adding a cost mechanism per assassination attempt - to cover the cost of resources, which could also limit their use. Regarding futas - No. Those awarded to you by the merchant can already work as males. They're special, trained for the special roles. The chance for a succubi to become immortal is a random chance that is checked every time a Blood Moon ritual is held. In the future, there will be an event that allows it once a Succubi reaches stage 7.

So that's why my sister-wives are dying off suspiciously and i can't achive the Purebred trait generation with Generational Inbreeding mod.. Is there any way i could change that for my personal use? Because i always have plenty of enemys in my games. And my wives might be killing off each other then too.
hewhocumsbynight Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Alright, so the thing happened again, where the female 16 year old popup appeared for a male character. Screenshots attached.
dewguru Posted August 27, 2015 Author Posted August 27, 2015 Alright, so the thing happened again, where the female 16 year old popup appeared for a male character. Screenshots attached. Heh. Well let's see if the changes that I made prevent it from happening in v0.50. Once again though - that event is only a placeholder. No actions are tied to it, no pregnancy triggers or anything.

I don't want her to die.
LickeyDs Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Can futas get females pregnant? In CK2 anyone can get pregnant, given enough time. That's why you can see posts like "My homosexual King got impregnated by his male lover!" Cheat commands like "pollinate" or "cuckoo" can do that too. I don't know if it possible to limit futas to the role of a father in futa-on-girl relationship, though.

LickeyDs Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 I mean if there is event that causes females to get pregnant if they have sex with a futa. Not that I know of. If there are any, they aren't in a feature list.
Malum Oculus Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 I also think the assassins need some work. They are too easy to get and cost no money, so they are really easy to get and then AI spams assassins. I think that needs to be fixed. Also in later versions will your character be able to become Futa?

As for futa, you can either breed with futa characters and hope that the trait passes onto your heir, or use console command "add_trait futanari"

I don't want her to die. The best way to do that prior to v0.50 is released will be to open the console (press ~ with in the game) and then type add_trait immortal After hitting the Enter key, it should go ahead and add the trait. Press ~ to close the console and keep playing. Outside of that, it would be to wait for v0.50, but then I make no promises of save game compatibility.

Also in later versions will your character be able to become Futa? What version of Dark World are you using? It doesn't sound like you're using the current one if you're getting assassin spam taking place. Note - I don't consider one assassin doing 4 jobs or less a year to be spam. The present v0.42 has shown to successfully limit that. As logincrash mentioned, v0.50 will also have another tweak to assassins by having a cost associated with sending them out, to cover their operating supplies while they work. Regarding futa on female - I've no specific events that handle them potentially impregnating females in what has been released yet. The v0.50 has one random event that can trigger in a certain situation that may cause a pregnancy to happen from a futa on female. Outside that, there are future plans, but it's all about fitting it in.
Kishiin Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Hi i found your mod this week and i say to you good work =) but my dynasty hates you because my powerfull king has been slain by an assassin =P
encon Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Does the education event have some kind of special trigger? I've set parents and mothers to educate their daughters and sons and nothing happened for the 10 years it lasts.
dewguru Posted August 27, 2015 Author Posted August 27, 2015 Does the education event have some kind of special trigger? I've set parents and mothers to educate their daughters and sons and nothing happened for the 10 years it lasts. First question a couple of questions - what version of Dark World are you using and are you using any other mods? I believe in 0.42 I changed the way the "masturbation/seduction education" events were triggering, in an attempt to keep the right sexes matching up. It changed to what should be a 25% chance upon the child hitting adulthood (which is 16 in most cases, depending on mods). You also no longer need to be the 'mentor' of your child. It should just do the 25% check, then check if it's a girl or boy, check to see if the opposite parent is still alive, then execute. So, if you're playing as a male, your wife could be educating your son's and you'd never know it. Unless she got pregnant of course. For those interested in a next release update: Here is the present change log for v0.50. Presently looking like a Sunday release time frame. My day's are pretty packed from tonight through Saturday, and I've testing to still conduct. v0.50 - *Attempted Fix: Rare bug where whores would sometimes spam babies. Fix involved rewriting nadamod's whoring. - *Fix: Lilith event of Adopting the Messalian Faith will trigger about a month after your 2nd Blood Moon - Added a cost for covering expenses when sending out an assassin (should reduce ai from using them as well) - Added some more random events - An event for the King or Emperor who doesn't have a Court Jester - Slavery system is in place. Very generic events at some stages, but those will improve with future updates, much like Blood Moon events. - Players can now also visit the Armorer with the Go Shopping decision (male and female options - female bikini armor as requested). - Immortality event will trigger about a six months after reaching Succubus Stage 7, unless already immortal.
encon Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Ooooh, ok, so I guess I didn't actually try having enough children reach 16. Yeah, version is 0.42, and I'm only using Harem Kings, AB02 and underhanded tactics.
thrownhammer Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Love the mod and this board, you guys are great. I had questions on how the AI assassins work. I always get killed on the same day, so I'm guessing the number of days is set when they're hired as well as if they are successful? It seems like the success should be rolled at the end, especially since they have a 3 month window and the auto save only works for 3. I've tried a lot of different things and always die on Jan 2nd. Do any of these things work: Finding the Hired Assassin and killing, imprisoning, or banishing them (are the AI assassins set at hiring or is someone showing up to kill me no matter what) Finding and killing the person that hired them (why risk it if you aren't going to get paid). Improving relations with the assassin or the hired party before you're killed. Is your assassin always 'your' assassin, or can they betray you. Can you uncover the assassins plot through your spymaster. Can you kill / catch the assassin and uncover the plot yourself when they come to kill you. Not complaining, I love the mod. I just don’t want to waste time on things that won’t work, or aren’t written in yet. Keep up the awesome work.
claybmt Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Really enjoying this this mod, and can't wait for the update. It mixes very well with the sorcery mod in the steam workshop. My succubus witch queen and her undead army has left a swath of dead soldiers and dead lovers across western Europe. Sadly, she was assassinated last night which brings me to my question: Thanks to an error/bug/feature in either ABs mod or underhanded tactics which gives rapists of either sex a 33% chance to impregnate their victim my heir was born with both futanari and succubus traits (in game explanation is this was caused by magic). I haven't had a blood moon ceremony with the heir yet, but I was wondering if a futanari player has a chance to get an event similar to the one a futanari vassal gets during the ceremony. If not would it be possible to include such an event in a future update?

I just don’t want to waste time on things that won’t work, or aren’t written in yet. Keep up the awesome work. 1. Yes, the random roll actually takes place upon attempt, and then the event that causes the death takes place 90 days later. I haven't really thought about doing it the other way around, although it's definitely possible. I'll take it under consideration to modify. 2 & 3. The concept of the assassin and liege is that if you've hired them, you obtained a completely loyal, deadly resource. Since this mod also includes things like the Succubus events, breasts and dick traits - all those things can make it easier than normal to get on someone's good side. So I don't plan on making it where you can win over someone else's assassin. Even if you kill the liege, I would see it as the assassin following through because their a professional, plus they'll be getting paid up front when v0.50 rolls out. 4. This also means that your assassin is always your assassin. 5. No, although if things are working right, the ai is only supposed to target rivals. So if you create a rival, take care of them before they get a chance to take care of you. 6. Not currently. I do have plans on doing things to reduce the chance that an assassin is successful. It's unlikely to make it in v0.50, but I'm considering two basic approaches. One is with the new slave training functionality - if you create a soldier type slave, then you can have them be a body guard that would potentially sacrifice themselves instead of you. The second would be to hold your assassin close, basically using them as a counter measure that lowers the chance of you getting killed, while at the same time introducing a chance that the coming assassin may be killed instead. I appreciate the questions. Especially that first one. It makes some sense since doing it the other way around could allow other actions to prevent the assassination - such as an assassin dying via means outside of the assassin events. If they died of old age for example, or had a successful imprison or kidnapping mission on them, then it would make sense that they're unable to complete the hit. Really enjoying this this mod, and can't wait for the update. It mixes very well with the sorcery mod in the steam workshop. thrownhammer Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Sweet thanks for answering my questions. The only issue I saw with the roll at the beginning is that it can destroy your game if you never manual save, or if its been hours since you have. If that is your intent, then awesome- I respect your choice as an artist. If it is a 'bad end' thing as it is now, it may as well have a 'The King of Poland has had his revenge' message, since you can't reload and stop him. Not mad about my burned saves, just want to know who killed me, lol. I don't have any rivals listed, unless it can be one sided and they have me listed. Regardless, I can stop my worldwide slaughter of all assassins...
LickeyDs Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Okay, I don't know if it's intentional or not, but every time I start a new game, all of the most prominent Kings or Emperors get trait "Tiny Dick."
OmegaHeaven Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 I see all these Merchant Story pictures in the gfx folder are not actually implemented in the events. I'm guessing that's for a later date? Also; Lilith_Claire uses a Saber pic. The Irony. Is this a hint at the Angel trait?

I do have the habit of collecting images prior to implementing changes sometimes as it just seems easier that way and it helps with further inspiration.
dewguru Posted August 28, 2015 Author Posted August 28, 2015 Some potentially bad news - I've decided to alter the slavery system, after I had one in place that tested as working. As a result, I don't know if it'll get done in time for a Sunday release. I was going with four types of training: 1. Sex Slave 2. Soldier / Bodyguard 3. Laborer 4. Punishment The punishment approach just wasn't doing it for me as its own training path. Especially when looking at the end result, you'd have a sex slave, a bodyguard, a laborer, or something that was simply broken. Now, I like the idea of someone during their training, just no longer being able to take it and they end up breaking. So you go from a potential sex slave to someone who just lays there, unresponsive and dead in the eyes. Then suddenly you went from a potentially lucrative sale to hardly any coin. It introduces a risk during slave training, that may influence what approach you take in your training, since different training options will carry different weights in successfully "leveling" the slave or not as they're trained towards being 'completed'. So I'm changing the four options to: 1. Sex Slave 2. Soldier / Bodyguard 3. Laborer 4. Skilled (think artist, midwife, etc.) Why only four? CK2 seems to limit the number of choices on events to four. So while breaking someone is still possible, it would be through extreme training. Also - I've got it worked out where if you train them in multiple paths, say a Kitchen wench (laborer) who is also a sex slave, that you'd get more money for them than if they were just one or the other. So, I've got some overhauling to do.
