I appreciate that!

After 30 years gameplay (new game) 87% of my court are now homosexual. I dont believe thats "normal" - even in a dark world :D

 

 

Btw - if im trying to shop, i can only buy armor and exotic - never medizin/alchemist or wizard.

And yes, i build all buildings. 

 

But i can buy at the exotic shop if im just build the alche/medizin building (not sure which of booth).

 

"Your" bug or my problem?

Hate to break the bad news, but it looks like the bad bounce I mentioned in the Werewolf event is still there.  I got it naturally once, and then ran the event again on a fresh game to be sure, after verifying I was indeed playing 0.70.  Other than that, really enjoying the update, though I haven't toyed around with the changes too much yet.

How did you get to that point where you were able to send him out? There are multiple approaches to it, and I was pretty certain I got them as it tested out for me, but I could easily have missed one.

Wizard's Lab doesn't allow any new shopping. It's use will be event driven.

 

I did have a problem with the alchemy building originally, but thought I had it fixed. I'll take another look.

I had him captured by the increased cavalry patrols, then had sex with him and declared I wouldn't submit to him (I was already a succubus), making him my pet.  I then sent him out to hunt the wild werewolf, and got that event.

Bah, no matter how I scope things, I can't get a ruler to use buildings in a city. I'm going to have to shift the alchemist building up to the castle level from the looks of things.

v0.71 is going to slip until tomorrow morning so I can test out the couple of last minute adjustments I had to make to the buildings file.

So, I might be reading your code wrong but arn't mother's of werewolves supposed to get the werewolf_bitch modifier? I ask since in my current game my character is werewolf and I have noticed that very few of my lovers (who have had kids) are receiving the modifier.

So I just ran around enslaving just about everyone I could, and I realized that the slave_master opinion modifier goes away right after it's given. As far as I can tell it just doesn't like the duration -1 because I substituted that with a year 50 and it works fine.

Yeah, I noticed that too... I assume the -1 was intended to make it permanent, but the engine just ignores it instead. Might want to just make it 100+, as Jack suggested

No, mother's of werewolves shouldn't automatically become bitches. Only the female children.

It may be both since I didn't hit quite as high as the 87%, but I did have a solid 40%. I had a change that did make it very possible for people who whored themselves out to the same sex to have a high chance of obtaining the trait. I've redone it and it seems to work better in my test for what I'm releasing today.

May I offer a small suggestion? I really think you should remove the assasin guild (or change it's properties so it gives a slightly higher kill plot power or maybe make the assasin into guard against assasination), Why am I suggesting this. After playing 250 years in multiple games (using either ck+ and hip - ck+ just removes the custom potraits and hip without the potrait module and both works fine) it's basically gets a killing field since anyone who doesn't like you (and have an assasine guild -which most of them have at that point) or any other character and is close assasinates you (and since assasines are almost sure hits (i haven't had a hit against me fail  so far )).

For example in one game i had 5 consecutive assasinations on my characters in less than 4 years (some probably from my own vassals). It also happens on npc characters so regurarly it became stupid at some point. It's not even cheating it's negative opinion + money = assasination.

 

EDIT: Or another suggestion is make the target with assasin into a more likely to fail (for example only 20% success  rate with the added bonus that you don't get discovered unlike the plot to kill command) making it more fair game.

No slave bodyguards? They've kept me alive.

 

I do need to tweak the assassin some more. Right now it still decides the result of the hit months before the hit takes place. It won't be in what I'm releasing today though.

Here's a thought. Since the Seduction Focus doesn't have any events outside of seducing an NPC (and that can take time), have building the brothel be a multi-stage event like the maze or tower events. There could be events for choosing a location, interior decoration, hiring prostitutes, etc. It's just a thought since it might not fit with your plans.

You might want to take another look at the events, then -- I know for sure that one of the characters I was using to test for that bad bounce wounding gave birth to a daughter who turned out to be a werewolf, and she got the Werewolf Bitch trait from that event instead of her daughter.  I eventually had to drain the werewolf to death because I was getting a little annoyed by the repeated 'werewolf lover wakes me up and takes me' events (which were kind of interfering with the chances of getting a legitimate kid with her Genius husband).

 

Edit: Here's some pictures.  Note that Matilda, in the first picture, is not a werewolf, but has Werewolf Bitch.  Her daughter, on the other hand, is a werewolf but not a bitch.

Interesting idea. I might have to try and work that one in there at some point.

 

On a side note - if you're playing a Succubus, consider taking something else besides Seduction, as once you have your first Blood Moon event and can start using the Succubus Seduction, the focus one becomes pretty pointless.

I know there's a way, CotC's cloning facilities are in its "temple" equivalent. Looks like this is how Galle handled the decision to use them:

Also, it looks like you restricted the semen-wine event chain entirely to female rulers? Kind of a shame, it's a nice way to make money.

 

The new approach to the futa merchant, while more "stable," I guess, is kinda disappointing to be honest, since it makes it virtually impossible to stack your council with futas - or, for that matter, even have two futa councillors at once, since the average rate of occurrence is now every 40 years, rather than every 10.

 

On that subject, how exactly does the "scoring" on the on-actions work? Are they percentage chance, or just weights? I'm assuming it's the latter (so the decade pulse is guaranteed to have one of the 4 options)

Male rulers can get it. Male rulers just can't handle semen collection themselves.

Are you sure? The base event now has a "is_female = yes" check on it that I don't recall being there before

its likely to make sure that Women are the ones doing the collecting, along with preventing children from getting involved.
